Nel is such a lovely natured dog, it was a pleasure looking after her. We had some lovely long walks exploring the nearby countryside and she always walked well off the lead and had excellent recall. Sometimes reluctant to get into the car but once in she travelled well. Mandy and Tony were very welcoming and their cottage is lovely and cosy. I had very good communication before during and after the sit especially as I was arriving a few hours after they had left for their trip. A great sit which I thoroughly recommend.
First and foremost, We want to express our sincere thanks to Olivia & Simon who welcomed us warmly into their home and entrusted us with their exceptional dog Merlin. We loved the location of the house as it is in close proximity to city center and a short drive to few lovely villages and sites. The house is spacious, comfortable and with all the amenities for a pleasant stay. Additionally, the garden is planted with herbs and vegetables for a pleasant outdoor atmosphere. Our room was pleasant with comfy bed and an adjacent bathroom, with a tub & walk-in shower. Now let me brag about Merlin... he was very sweet and loved being caressed and loved on. Merlin loved to go on a walking adventure and he enjoyed going on a car ride to explore new park or village. We enjoyed our time with Merlin so much so it was truly hard to say goodbye. We are grateful for choosing us to look after your very loving Merlin. I highly recommend this sit because it's a terrific sit by all measures. Lanell & Omar
Miranda contacted us through Trusted Housesitters, with a last minute private invitation to sit for her two dogs from 28th to 30th August and also the next weekend, 4th to 6th September. Because we were already committed to a sit, I was about to say, “Sorry, we can’t do it”, but Jon said “It will be difficult for them to find any other sitters at the last minute for the Bank Holiday weekend: I will do it for them”. I explained to Miranda that Jon could do it on his own and I would remain with our original assignment, almost a two-hour drive away. Jon was able to give feedback to Miranda and Damian, when they returned home from the first weekend, and the subsequent sit, the following weekend, was so much better. Hector and Albie (Albus) the two boy dogs, (“the boys”) were a pleasure and easy to care for and walk.
Griffin is a superstar. He's eager to please, totally chilled and always happy. Kari has a beautiful home in a great location and makes you feel very welcome. Everything was communicated clearly. This was a dream sit and if you get the chance to sit Griffin, you're very lucky.
I had a wonderful experience looking after Iri. Sabina has left very clear instructions and Iri is a very friendly and sweet cat with a simple routine. The house is beautiful and in a great area: very safe, walkable, lots of nice cafes and restaurants around as well as just nice to walk. I had a great time and would highly recommend this sit!
Brigit is very kind and hospitable, her communication is clear and easy-going and she has an amazing apartment in a great area - well connected to public transport. Rika loves to cuddle, is easy to please with food and snacks and enjoys company. She is incredibly cute. I can highly recommend this sit.
