Cat Sitters in Wyndham, VA

Diana was a great to have on our farm. Perhaps her nursing background gave her the tools to problem solve quickly and efficiently, but handling a 400 acre farm with animals is no easy feat. She did all of this with the utmost care and concern, while navigating the quirks of our 18th century farmhouse with a plumbing project ongoing. She administered our 4 dogs monthly medicines, kept track of the 2 cats and the barn cats, and basically enabled the pets to fall in love with her. She kept out pool and jacuzzi balanced, watered our plants in both greenhouses and around our home, and then left our home neater and cleaner than when we left. She was a gem and I would love to have her house sit anytime, I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Linsey was a great sitter for our dog-she was proactive in communicating, organized, gave timely updates and left our place in great shape. Would defiantly have her sit again and recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!

I only met Caroline as Zainab came a day later. The time I had with Caroline to go through things, she seemed very confident and capable. Rolo, my pup took to her immediately so that was good to see. They kept in touch, with some photos where Rolo always seemed to be very happy, having fun. They asked for things and let me know of anything that I might need to know. I think they were a great fit and fully recommend them.

Ella was absolutely amazing!! I cannot give her enough praise for the fantastic job she did. I felt so safe and comfortable leaving my cat with her and could tell that she was extraordinarily well taken care of when I came back. And the house was spotless! Not only was she a great pet sitter she is also a lovely person, I would have her back in a second.

I am so grateful for Nastassja's gentle, loving care of my pup! I highly recommend her and would be happy to have her again.

Kimberly and her husband, Pat were the perfect housesitters. Five star rating in all categories and in every way. They stayed in touch, sent pictures and bonded with our sweet Calie. They left our home in immaculate condition. We felt so comfortable knowing they were taking such good care of our home, pets and plants. We would highly recommend them and would give them ten stars if we could. We felt very fortunate to have found them. We travel frequently and hope they will be available again.

Nicole came for a long weekend and took care of my horses, dog, and cat. She had good prior experience doing farm sitting and was familiar with a barn and horses. They were fed and cared for following the instructions very carefully. Nicole handled some complications with the dog competently without a problem, and the cat adored her. The house and barn were left tidy and the plants and garden were all still alive after several very hot days. Overall a good experience.

We cannot say enough good things about Annemarie and her care of our dog and home. She knows Roo from a prior sit, so within minutes they were best friends again. She kept in touch with us regularly and sent photos of Roo which we loved. He is very stubborn about not eating when we are gone, so she tried different things with our suggestions and permission. Annemarie took excellent care of our home and plants, both inside and out. She even had muffins for our breakfast the morning after we got home! Annemarie is great about handling whatever comes her way. She has emergency numbers, of course, but she has never had to use them thankfully. We will happily have her care for Roo whenever we go away. We know he is in excellent hands.

Ginny & Chris are honest, reliable, friendly and relaxed people who have a genuine love of animals. When they arrived they got the usual barking welcome from Molly but within minutes she was calm and comfortable. Both our cats usually disappear when visitors arrive however they instantly took to our sitters and hung around all night. Flo is an old dog and you have to be patient with her. Ginny & Chris have experience with older dogs and were keen to know everything about her so she would be comfortable while we were away. They kept us updated while we were away with photos and little videos of our pets which was lovely and very much appreciated. Upon arriving back all our animals were healthy, happy and relaxed. The house was clean and tidy and Ginny and Chris had cooked a lovely dinner for us. If you want interesting, relaxed, friendly and reliable pet loving people then this couple totally fit the bill. We would not hesitate to have them back. Thank you for looking after our beautiful animals and home.

I can’t recommend Jenn enough as a cat and house sitter! From the moment I met her, it was clear she was trustworthy and genuinely caring. Her warm personality instantly put my cats at ease, and it was heartwarming to see how quickly they warmed up to her. Jenn was fantastic at communicating throughout my time away, providing updates and even sharing sweet photos of my fur babies. Knowing they were in such good hands made my trip worry-free. She followed all the instructions in my welcome guide to a tee and left my home spotless upon her departure. I truly appreciate her attention to detail and the care she showed for my pets and space. Dawn was great! She took very good care of Harley and left everything clean and as she found it when she arrived. She also kept me up to speed on how Harley was all weekend. I would highly recommend her as a sitter.

We were so pleased with Oguzhan’s care of Teddy and Jake. Oguzhan’s partner Charlotte was also on the sit, agreed to ahead of time and which we appreciated. Teddy, our friendly little pup was their snuggle buddy and warmed up to Oguzhan right away. Shy Jake isn’t as sociable but was well taken care of with his feeding and insulin shots. Communication was great with daily updates and photos. The house was left very clean, linens washed, mail and packages brought in. We were so pleased to get home to our boys knowing everything went so well. Thank you to Oguzhan & Charlotte!
