Dog sitting for Kayla was great! The dogs were friendly and well behaved. They enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and playing in the backyard. The house was very clean. Kayla was great at communicating with me throughout the sit. I would highly recommend.
Carina was the best host, she is very generous, made us feel right at home. The house was super clean and well organized/equipped with everything we needed. Toffee and Candy are the sweetest dogs- we really connected to them, they even slept in bed with us. Even upon arrival back they made us feel good about sticking around for a few more hours while we get organized. Our twin babies loved playing in the house, downstairs and in the back yard. They were obsessed with the dogs which were really grateful for too. We definitely want to be back!!
Duke is the sweetest, most easy-going, and friendly dog. He loves a belly rub or couch cuddle and always gets a pep in his step when it’s time for a walk. He makes you feel good and happy to have a canine companion like him. He also loves car rides and getting bathed. Again, he’s a very easy and sweet pup. The most well behaved dog we’ve ever cared for. Steve and Tina are some of the nicest, warmest, and most hospitable people we’ve ever met traveling. They have a beautiful home. Their back garden alone has so many different kinds of birds we’d never seen before. They picked us up from the airport, allowed us to use their car, welcomed and sent us off with a home cooked meal, and made sure we met their local friends before they left. We could tell they really care about Duke and did everything to make sure we were setup for success throughout our sit. We’re incredibly grateful to have wound up in Eltham with Duke these past six weeks. Steve and Tina are genuinely delightful and quickly became friends. We can’t recommend this sit enough and those lucky enough to be considered shouldn’t hesitate to look after Duke. We miss them and Duke already and can’t wait to see them again. We truly hope our paths in life get to cross again because we feel as if we’ve made lifelong friends. We’re hoping they’ll come visit us in the States someday so we can return the hospitality and friendship they’ve offered to us.
Amy's place was a great spot to relax and enjoy quiet time in nature! Meika is a real sweetheart and enjoys relaxing in the yard while you keep an eye on her.. and LOVES to play fetch with her collection of toys. She loves to go on hikes and walks and is loving companion. Inigo the kitty cat is mostly outdoors, but loves to come in for early morning snuggles. This is a great stay if you are looking for a sweet place to explore nature and have some quiet time!
I had a lovely time looking after Polly in Bristol. Polly is a very sweet dog, she knows where she wants to go for her walks, and sometimes needs to sit down for a rest and then continues on her way. She enjoys being brushed and playing with her treats. It was a pleasure to look after her. Rowena and Steve have a beautiful home, with large double bedrooms, a spacious lounge/diner overlooking their large garden. It's a very peaceful home, and in a great location with easy access to Bristol centre, you don't need a car, there's a bus stop adjacent to their home. There's a very pleasant walk across the downs from their home, which takes you to the Suspension Bridge, well worth visiting. Rowena and Steve are a very nice couple, they are warm and welcoming and made me feel at home. I hope I have another opportunity to sit for them in the future.
I had a lovely time sitting for Nick and Merlin. Merlin is adorable! Friendly, gentle and loves his walks; we enjoyed exploring the fields nearby together. Nick made sure that I had everything I needed for the sit. The welcome guide was comprehensive, and he was always on hand if I had any questions. His home was very comfortable, and welcoming. Thanks Nick and Merlin!
