Bo is a lovable, sweet young pup and such a charmer with his beautiful face. He’s a big, healthy, playful, easy going and well socialized Rottweiler that I truly enjoyed snuggling with after our walks. My favourite moment was lounging first thing in the morning, after mister sleepy head came out of his crate. He sleeps well in his crate and knows quite a few commands. (At this time, he was only 14 months old.) He would slowly come out, stretch and then promptly get on his back for belly rubs. Marcus was kind and very easy to communicate with at all times: a wonderful dog dad and beautiful human being. His home is a delight for homebodies that love cooking, listening to great music and catching up on fave shows online. Bo and I had a few nights of dancing and cooking together! I highly recommend this sit for dog lovers and especially for big breed, dog lovers. Bo loves to lean into you with all his love, so it’s good to be ready for this handsome big boy.
The place is great and Cally made sure I felt as I was at home. The pets are the most lovely and cuddly ones. Missing those cuties already.
Cliff and Helen are the loveliest couple. I met them prior to the visit which was helpful. When the visit began they took me out for meal and showed me around the area. Helen familiarised me with the house and routines, especially for their lovely dog Bella. Bella was a delight and wonderful companion for the next 10 days. I took her to visit my husband who is resident in a care home, all the residents were enthralled with her. I would be honoured to be asked to look after Bella should the opportunity arise again. My sincere thanks to Helen and Cliff who made me feel so at home.
We had a blast spending the week with Hazelnut and Fawkes in DC! They have unique personalities and rituals that make them a bundle of fun to look after. Fawkes is a small fuzzy ball of energy. She’s incredibly playful and will send you to tears of laughter. Hazelnut is probably the most human-like cat we’ve ever met. She likes to be brushed in the bathroom and will talk to you to say how much she’s enjoying being groomed. Kathryn and Ross were also great hosts! They gave us clear instructions in the Welcome Guide and were very responsive before and during our stay. Most of the roads around their apartment require a permit if you are parking for more than 2-3 hours, so we applied for a DC parking permit online, which was very quick and easy. We also loved how close their apartment was to the trails in Rock Creek Park. We are fortunate to have met these two wonderful and quirky kitties and would highly recommend caring for them. We’d happily sit for them again if given the opportunity!
Chloe was a pleasure and ease to care for. She is a little shy at first but she warmed up in a few days. Kathryn was easy to work with she met me before the sit to hand off the keys.
