Our time at this lovely house in Andros was a true reflection of its owners, Sara and John. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and made to feel like friends. They included us in Sara's birthday dinner on our first night, introduced us to their friends, and made sure we were provided with every detail we needed about their house and pets (as well as being immediately responsive if we had any problem or question while they were away). As for the animals, we are in love. All eight of them are dear, wonderful creatures, and I reluctantly left Mumsy behind after discovering she wouldn't fit into my backpack. We feel very blessed in, not only being able to discover this stunning island which is at its best at this time of year, but in meeting two lovely people who bent over backwards to make it a very special month.
Jenny is a wonderful, generous & caring person who adores her fabulous menagerie. We had an amazing time with all her gorgeous babies & certainly fell in love with them. We loved our walks with the 3 boys Joe, Fred & Toby & the cats always managed to entertain us, particularly Ottilly with all her gorgeous antics. As for the four laying hens they kept us supplied with beautiful fresh eggs daily. Jenny’s home was lovely & had everything you could possibly want. Jenny was generous to a fault as the pantry & fridges were full of wonderful French delights. Her garden was a credit to her & we spent many a beautiful evening dining outside watching the amazing sunsets. The village Jenny lives in is one of the most beautiful in France & the people were very friendly & accepted that we spoke very little French. Jenny left lots of information for us & from the moment she accepted us for the sit until we left she always communicated with us. Anyone who sits for Jenny & her babies in the future will be in for a wonderful experience....we certainly were...thank you Jenny.
Joanna and William are so kind, and their home is absolutely gorgeous! We enjoyed fresh squash, mint, and basil right from the gardens, and loved sitting out and enjoying the sunshine on their beautiful patio. The hot tub was such a lovely treat too. The two kitties were cautiously sweet and very easy to take care of. This was our first sit and it was even better than we could have imagined. We would be more than happy to come back and sit again!
My visit with Lucy, the cutest and sweetest dog, was an absolute delight! Lucy's personality and affectionate nature made me feel instantly at home. Lee and Cynthia were super and I'd love to do it again! Highly recommended!
I couldn’t have asked for two better pups for my first dog sitting experience! Gogi and Kefi are both incredibly sweet and loving dogs; they get it from their parents! Twila and Dean are wonderful hosts. They cooked and shared restaurant quality (or better!) meals with me and made me feel right at home. Thank you both for welcoming me in!! Anyone would be lucky to sit for Twila and Dean.
We had a great week in Shai’s apartment in Paris. Manar is a shy but affectionate cat who loves a stroke and tickle on the chin. She’s a darling. The apartment is really comfortable, airy and very well situated for trips into the local and central areas of the city. We spent days exploring and enjoying the city. Fantastic.
