Leah is a pet and homeowner’s dream. I am not embellishing anything when I say that. She is delightful, resilient, responsible, proactive, kind, and gentle. She stayed at our home in Wellfleet, MA on Cape Cod for three weeks while my fiancé and I were in Europe. I have two rescue terriers. One is always fearful, and both have anxiety during storms. As fate would have it, a hurricane hit the Cape the day after we flew out and Leah was a calm, grounded person for the dogs during the storm. Leah had read and retained the detailed info in our Home Guide before she arrived and proactively asked a few important clarifying questions to ensure she understood everything clearly. We received photos and updates every few days while we were away which created a much-welcomed peace of mind during our entire trip. We returned home at 10:00 PM and Leah had made us a vegan soup because she thought we might be hungry after all the travel. I am a minimalist with a tad bit of OCD and I will say our home was spotless when we got home. She even washed and vacuumed my truck. The most beautiful thing about Leah is her energy. She is truly a kind, gentle soul and the dogs felt comfortable in her presence because they felt that energy. Both dogs absolutely adored her and continue to go in the spare bedroom multiple times a day looking for her. I look forward to having Leah sit again and would highly recommend her for watching any home and any sentient being. Thank you Leah!
we had a wonderful time looking after Coco and Oreo Bob. Coco is the sweetest dog, he loves his walks from the house and has favourite spots in the village or the forest but he also loved it when we took him to Courchevel in the car and wondered around the village with him (thanks Lucie for the suggestion!). On the first day he was looking for Lucie but he got used to us pretty quickly, loved tummy cuddles and often followed us from room to room or sat next to us on the balcony. He is very good when the eye drops are applied, a simple task which Lucie had explained very well. Oreo Bob is more independent but he also loves a cuddle and would often sit on our lap (or chest!) when we were sitting on the sofa. The house is incredible, with stunning views over the valley and mountains and with a beautiful garden. Lucie and Chris were very welcoming and cooked dinner for us the night we arrived and were on hand to answer any questions while they were away. It was really hard to say goodbye to Coco and Oreo Bob, we hope to be able to look after them again and highly recommend this sit to any cat and dog lovers.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Anne’s lovely apartment in the company of the lovely furballs Tom and Siri! Tom is a little more shy, and likes to hide (very well!) but is always up for a cuddle if you approach him calmly. Siri is more open and loved to be close to me and to get lots of attention. Over all, they are very easy to take care of, and Anne provides excellent instructions for their care. The apartment is in a great location, with a large shopping street very near. It has a super interesting layout, and is filled with art and memories. I would definitely recommend this sit and would love to come back one day!
A wonderful wonderful experience! Cleo was an absolute delight to be with and look after, and Brad and Roxy were the loveliest, kindest, most generous people I have ever met. The house too was marvelous - an oasis of beauty and peace. It was a memorable pleasure being there and I am very thankful for the opportunity. I experienced no difficulties of any kind, including with WiFi which was as fast as needed for any purpose. Thank you!
Sue is such a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome and at home during our stay. Riff Raff and Rocky are the most gorgeous doggies and so fun to spend time with! Loved walking them in the beautiful park nearby everyday. We thoroughly enjoyed house sitting for Sue and would house sit for her again any time! :)
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Georgia's house. It's in a quiet, serene neighborhood of SW Portland. A few minutes' drive takes you to Tryon Creek, a beautiful forested natural area with hiking trails to explore. The Sellwood neighborhood is also close by, with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, etc. to choose from. Her home is lovely, clean and comfy, with great lighting a relaxing patio space facing out into a forest. We appreciated Georgia's thoughtful preparation for our visit, as well as her detailed instructions and timely communication. Ning is just the cutest little kitty. She's shy at first but became comfortable with us after a couple of days. She's adorable and very easy to care for. We would love to stay here again!
My sister and I absolutely loved our stay with Bailey! She is so sweet and cuddly and made our job easy. My sister and I were working remotely and Bailey was a great coworker! She was always eager to walk to the coffee shop with us or join us on an adventure. Nicole’s home was fantastic! Her apartment is extremely central and we were able to walk everywhere. Anywhere we couldn’t walk was accessible via Penn Station, which was a 5 minute walk away. Nicole was a great host, keeping constant communication before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!
