We depend very much on reliable cat sitters when we go on holidays, because we have a big cat family. 7 cats plus 2 foster cats require a good understanding of cat behaviour and monitoring, especially, if you have older cats. Thanks to Csilla & Peter, we and our cats were spoilt with dedicated care. Our oldest (17 years) had a recent teeth surgery and recovery takes longer. Csilla and Peter were great in supporting her, making sure she ate regularly the required amount of food and took the medication she needed. So Miezi regained 180 gr during 2 weeks, which is a great achievement. Csilla and Peter are extremely friendly and considerate people, who are easy to get along with. Both are giving a hand whenever there is an opportunity to help, either in the kitchen when cleaning the table after our joint dinner or when we came back with "100" pieces of luggage, or simply stripping the beds. As we are in the full summer period, also our garden required some care and Csilla and Peter maintained everything according to our wishes, and even more. Thank you so much for welcoming us with a super clean outer staircase under the trees. This made us so happy as you can feel the care both dedicate to your home and pets. Please refer also to our previous reviews for Csilla and Peter. We highly recommend them as wonderful pet- and housesitters because of their extraordinary efforts. Both go the extra mile to ensure everything is going well so you can relax when away from home. We say a big thank you! We would welcome Csilla and Peter any time again, and are sure also the cats would love to see them again.
I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi. Tanya is a gorgeous person! I would highly recommend her to everyone looking for a reliable and responsible person who will take care of your pet and your house with a heart. During our short holidays, I had complete peace of mind because Tanya sent me videos of my relaxed, satisfied… and snoring buddy. Yeah. He snores when he’s happy, and I thought I'm the only one who makes him soooo joyful and comfortable. What’s more, when we came back, he just ignored me. I’m a little bit jealous! :'-D The house was absolutely spotless on our return. I really couldn’t have asked for anything else. I highly recommend Tanya as a Zeewoi, and so would my cat!

This was the first time that I used a pet sitter when I went on holiday. I haven't left my pets for so long in over 2 years and since losing one of my cats. Chris was extremely understanding to my anxiety and worries about having to leave them for 8 days. He was brilliant, he spent time with my cats and even tried to get them to get used to him on daily basis. I got pictures and regular messages too. I was and still am very happy with his service and have already recommended him to my friends. I will definitely be booking him again in the future.
Chris is a brilliant dog minder.I have no qualms to leave my two little pooches again. You can tell when someone genuinely loves animals and Chris does.We are so pleased that we know our two will be well looked after and cared for so we booked them in again for next year.Its a weight off our mind that we found someone like Chris to look after them.He keeps intouch to let u know how they are too which is very reassuring by texts and pics.Brilliant!

I feel so lucky to have found somewhere like Ingleby Home from Home. Lynn is absolutely fantastic with my cockapoo Charlie. He absolutely loves her and is always so excited to go to day care. We're so grateful to have found Ingleby Home From Home. Our young bundle of fun, Rosie, treats it as her second home and can't wait to run through the door. She's so well cared for - she loves the walks on the beach, in the park or on the moors; she loves being with her little band of doggy friends, and she loves snuggling up on the sofa for a post-walk snooze. Happy dog = happy owners and we would recommend wholeheartedly.
My cockerpoo has been going to Ingelby home from home doggy daycare since November and I cannot rave about them enough. Deedee looks forward to going to see Lynne and going on daily outings to the beach or woods with her dog friends. Since going to this bespoke daycare that has only 4 dogs at a time my dog has flourished in confidence, obedience and general socialisation skills. I 100% recommended Lynne she is nurturing and caring and my dog absolutely adores her. I can’t imagine not having Dee Dee I day care each week.
Never known a dog day care business that actually travels to give your dogs a true experience of dog walks, without worrying about being on a time scale as a dog walker, Lynn plans her weekly walks and we've joined her at times with day trips out to the NY moors, Beach Walks and Forests,her dogs are never bored, and work well with mine from time to time, an excellent day care service I would fully recommend

This place is amazing for those of you who are needing a holiday but have a pet rabbit or guinea pig to consider... Been using this place for a number of years now and Dawn and the family are absolutely fantastic. A choice of indoor and outdoor hutches, fresh food twice daily, and outdoor play when the weather is good (and that's just for the rabbits and guinea pigs!). A massively professional service. I can't recommend anyone better.
Once again Dawn @ Ingleby Bunny Boarding helped us out massively by being able to look after our pet rabbit, Ziggy. This lady and her family are an absolute Godsend and a massive help. We recently moved to the area from Sweden and one of the first things we knew we needed was to find someone to watch our two cats if we were away. After looking into a few different services where you bring your pet to a location, my husband stumbled on Petpals Darlington & Yarm. We were happy to find a service where people would come to our house rather than us having to take the cats somewhere as travelling can be very stressful for animals. From the beginning, our interactions with the staff at Petpals D&Y was really wonderful - everyone we spoke to was lovely and helpful, and setting up an initial meeting with Jill was quick, easy, and hassle-free. We went on holiday to visit my in-laws over the Christmas period and despite the awkward time of year to work, it was clear from the daily updates that everyone who came to look in on them didn't shirk out on giving our cats time and attention. They seemed knowledgeable about cats - with Jill pegging their breed within a few minutes of meeting them, even, despite it not being a common breed in the UK - and we were assured that if the cats were to become ill that they work directly with a specific cat veterinarian in the area that they would bring them to if necessary. Overall we felt very safe and confident leaving our animals (and access to our home) in their care. We loved the daily updates in particular, with pictures, and when we returned it was to two super happy cats who seemed more calm than anxious. Staff from Petpals D&Y even left them a little Christmas gift that they went crazy for 😂😍. Best petsitting service I've ever used. The price is very reasonable - cheaper than services where you bring your animals somewhere where they'll probably mostly be in cages all day - and setting up dates for them to watch the cats is incredibly easy. Will absolutely be using them again for future trips, short and long, and would 100% recommend for people who are a bit anxious about leaving their furry family members behind on holiday, work trips, etc.
I can't speak highly enough of the service provided by Petpals. While we are away we know our 2 cats are in great hands. They get a visit every day. Litter cleaned and water refreshed. Then they will get a little play time and some one on one attention. Shortly after we receive an email detailing all the exciting events that have happened and a lovely collage of our little kitties. It's something we genuinely look forward to each day we are away. Thank you so much.
This is the second time I've used Petpals and once more I cannot recommend them highly enough. I came back from a long holiday to a content, settled and well looked after cat!! Rachel has been great with him, following his routines, playing with him and making sure he had his cuddles. I loved seeing the photos and reading her daily reports that were making me feel like I was there for a moment. I could tell he has in good hands!!
I did not expect the level of care, attention and obvious affection shown to my pretty independant cat whilst I was away on holiday; Rachel sent me daily reports along with lovely photos, not only did she feed him but she spent time playing with him, grooming him and cleaning him up too when needed as he is long haired. Rachel took the time to tell me how he was on interaction too, playful, mischievous . And on top of that she cleaned his bowls and took all the pouches away for recycling. A really fantastic service all round and I wholeheartedly recommend Petpals to everyone who owns a pet.

My little nervous dog has totally come out of her shell since starting group walks with the dogs, she is picked up and dropped off and absolutely loves all the dog walkers! I cannot recommend Petpals Darlington enough for the care and attention they gave our two cats during our recent family holiday. I was extremely panicked when we first went away as I've never had our cats looked after by anyone other than family and friends but Jill calmed my nerves and even checked the GPS tracking to ensure our cats were being attended to as planned. Our two were attended to by Rachel and then Patricia during our week away and both ladies were fabulous with them. We have a sickly youngster but both ladies cleaned up after her with no bother! Our cats were fed, litter scooped, clean water and most importantly played with and given valuable outdoor time in their catios. The daily service reports with photos were excellent and wherever we were adventuring on the island, we all stopped to hear the daily updates! We arrived home tonight to happy, content cats, clean litter, filled bellies and a lovely card. Thank you to Jill, Rachel and Patricia for treating my two cats so well and with so much care. Thoroughly Recommend 😊
A very professional service from the beginning. Good assessments done with my fog prior to at services being agreed. I've used their walking service regularly and they have a portal that's easy to update if anything changes with your dog. I've also recently used their dog sitting service. We were paired with a lovely man who I think spoiled my girl more than I do. He was a superstar!! I love that they give you a short report after every walk & lovely photos. It is so reassuring to see that your dog is well looked after. The same with the dog boarding - daily photos & updates. I would highly recommend their services.

As a business owner and a single man I can’t always be home as regularly or consistently as I ought to be for Edwin, but Petpals are always there and look after him as though he were one of their own. I recently used Petpals dog walking service for my two dogs, Eli and Ada, while I was away on holiday. Our two lunatic puppers have just spent a week at yappy nights while we were away on holiday. Really nervous at putting them in kennels but i am so glad i found yappy nights. Fergie and badger obviously enjoyed their time there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yappy nights to anyone. I got photos of them whilst we were away which was much appreciated. So impressed i am already booking them in again for February.
Had our 2 Labradors boys (Teddy and Finan) in Yappy Nights while we were away on holiday for the week, staff seemed fantastic, really helpful, must have a real love for dogs which shows, dogs seemed to love it come out happy healthy and bouncy. Have used them a couple of times before and will definitely be using them again.

Our 2 dogs have just completed a 10 day stay here, the staff we met were lovely and very interested in our dogs and there likes and dislikes very accomodating to both dogs!! Both dogs came home very happy, healthy and tired (from having so much fun) thank you so much they will be back!!!!
This Kennels has recently changed hands for the worst! When you drop your dog off and the first thing that is said is "we don't supply the food now you know" . I'm paying you £15 you should supply. luckily I had food in the car. But my dog came out of these kennels skinny hungry and not very well looked after it's a shame used to be a lovely kennels
Our dog loves it here. The staff are very friendly. You get the sense they very much care about the dogs in their care. We wouldn't take our dog anywhere else.

I trust Yarm Bunny Boarding to look after Belle & I know she’s in safe hands. Rachel spends all day looking after the pets in her care, I was so reassured to hear she sits with them whilst they’re having outdoor playtime in the garden runs. My Belle 🐰 is a nervous little soul and Rachel always goes out of her way to accommodate her needs, she always returns home settled and happy. Finding a safe, spacious and caring place to leave our beloved Bunnies is so hard these days with boarders closing and mostly being full and Rachel is certainly one of these safe, happy places 🩷
My bunny stayed with Yarm Bunny Boarding this weekend. She came home happy and healthy and was clearly looked after with a lot of love. I particularly loved spotting a picture of my furry baby on the Facebook page during her stay. Thank you for giving Riley a home away from home.

Rachel at YBB is amazing. It can be daunting leaving a pet with anyone outside your family and I’m glad I found YBB. Rachel is friendly, has a calming personality, she knowledgeable and you can tell she loves bunnies and loves her job. She treats each and every guest as one of her own. She kept me updated on how they were and she calmed my worries when I first left them. I know they are in very safe hands when they holiday with her and they love their holiday with Rachel (they hate coming home after their stay!). They have lots of grass to munch on and the hutches are very spacious.
We booked our two bunnies in here for a week in July, I can thoroughly recommend. The service that Rachel provides is really impressive, the three times that we called all of the pets were really well cared for. The week that our two were there, was the heatwave week, and she made a real effort to keep them cool and comfortable by giving them iced fruit and vegetables. Would not hesitate to use again.
We feel so lucky to have found Yarm Bunny Boarding for our guinea pigs Belle and Petal. They have been going for 6 years and it is so reassuring knowing that they will be so well looked after by Rachel. I think they enjoy their holidays as much as we do. Would recommend without hesitation.

Charlie is just back from 13 days at the kennels. I have a 3+ year old German Shepherd and since she was born I had never left her since she was born during covid. For the first time I was going away on a family holiday for 2 weeks and from the beginning the guys made me feel super comfortable about leaving her with them. They set up a time to meet her before hand and gave me all the relevant information I needed to make me feel comfortable because I was super nervous! But during her stay I was sent photos, videos and super nice messages and updates on a regular and un-prompted basis of her enjoying her time and receiving daily attention, love and exercise. Even upon picking her up they made sure that everything was ready for pick up and I didn't have to worry about anything at all. My girl was super happy and I wouldn't hesitate to choose them again for my next holiday! Thank you so much for the amazing care for my Nova <3
I recently used Allegro dog kennel for my reactive dog, and I couldn't be more impressed with their care and attention. Despite my dog’s temperament, the staff was incredibly understanding and made sure to keep me updated frequently, sending photos and messages to ease my worries. They reassured me that handling my dog wasn't difficult, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. It's clear they truly care about the dogs in their care, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again. Highly recommended!
All I can say is what an amazing set of people! My dogs (2x labs) stayed whilst I went away (it was the first time I was able to book, because they are busy all the time!!). I got picture updates every few days and vids. They've been so well looked after and are so happy! Might take them a while to decompress as I think they built some solid bonds! I couldn't be more grateful and happy that their wellbeing was priority. Highly recommend for any fur babies, cats included! Thanks a million ❣️
My Lurcher puppy had her first short stay in September, she loved the staff. It’s great that I can drop her off and pick her up between 9.30am and 4pm any day of the week. I was sent photos of her enjoying her exercise and arranged a pick-up time via text. I recently booked another short stay but my pup got an infection and there was no problem in cancelling. Martin was understanding and was able to rebook her in for another stay in a couple of weeks.
Left my Belgian malinois with these guys for the week and picked her up today. Couldn’t fault the lads at all great service. From looking after my girl to constantly sending photos and videos to me while I was away! Could tell she was well looked after and came back home her usual happy little self. Can’t thank the lads enough. Will definitely be where she goes when we’re away in future!! Thanks again 😁😁😁
Both my lurchers stay at Allegro quite often for short stays. They are always well looked after, happy and usually shattered when they come home so I know they have plenty of exercise. They are happy going in everytime and so excited to see the staff (they can never get a picture as they are too busy trying to get kisses). Very reasonably priced and I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. Staff are polite and communication is great. Happy dogs and happy owners each time
My male Akita had his first kennel stay with Allegro this weekend. He’s never stayed at a kennel before and has never stayed over night with anyone other than family, however with family holidays coming up we knew we needed to find a trusted kennel that could handle our big lad and we’d feel safe leaving him with. Martin was absolutely fantastic from the moment he met Kuma, & even with the breed and Kuma’s minor aggressive tendencies (food aggression, resource guarding, anxiety with strangers petting him) he took him on & made sure he felt comfortable at all times. Kuma warmed up to Martin in seconds and with regular updates on his well being and to give me peace of mind, I knew I’d made the right choice! As an Akita owner, I know first hand how hard it is to find somewhere who not only aren’t scared of the breed but are experienced enough to look after them properly, I’m so glad I found Allegro and won’t hesitate to use them as our go to now. Highly recommend, no matter the breed, size or personality of the pup, I’d feel safe leaving my furbaby with the Allegro team!
Wonderful place! My 3 dogs stayed for a week and I don’t think they wanted to come home! Amazing staff who kept us updated and sent beautiful photos across to us! Extremely friendly and I felt very comfortable leaving my 3 in their care! See you again soon!
