Our stay at Silvia, Mario and Lucio's home has been fantastic. Not only does the city of Padua have a charm, art and history that can fill months visiting and enjoying, but also this family has been very kind and hospitable, always worrying about our well-being and enjoyment. Communication has also been excellent at every moment. However, we have to say, the best thing of all has been the incredibly sweet sausage dogs Mirtila and her daughter Lola. A unique pair that will fill your stay with love and very, very funny moments. Although their characters are quite different, both - like a good mother and daughter - share immense sweetness, great tenderness, an irresistible captivating look and, above all, a great love for their treats. Mirtila has a very noble and calm spirit, always looking for the moment to show you her love. And Lola, a real tornado full of energy and desire to play, who tirelessly looks to be close to you and look at you with affection. They get along very well and complement each other perfectly. Lola makes Mirtila more active and Mirtila makes Lola relax with her on the sofa. Silvia, Mario and Lucio´s beautiful home is clean, modern and spacious with a garden to enjoy both for us and Mirtilla and Lola. It´s easy to get into the centre of Padua by tram or bus and there´s a large supermarket nearby, which is very handy. So, if you are lucky enough to be chosen by Silvia and her family and get the chance get to know these two littles beauties, Mirtilla and Lola, up close, we assure you that you will not easily forget them and you will carry them in your heart forever. 💗💗

Andrea was an amazing sit and I’d do it again! Andrea was prompt with response, information, and details the whole time. She has EVERYTHING you need to cook and thoroughly clean, such easy processes! Enough space to dance, work, play, and relax. Often times Jacksson like to do things his way but more then not he reminds you to slow down and enjoy what’s in front of you. Jacksson is very precise on what direction he wants to walk in but he’s unable to do super long walks because his toes will swell and bleed. Comforting and talking to him as you clean and wrap them will definitely help him(don’t forget the treats). He is overall in good condition for 13 but he’s a grown baby so you must treat him as such. When out on our walks I’d always talk to Jacksson and let him know when and why we’d soon have to turn back, he didn’t always listen which is why I whipped out the treats😹. He loves to speak to almost anyone he sees, at first I thought he was just being feisty but he’s actually well known and loves socializing(still be cautious because he doesn’t always want to “just have a conversation” he really wants to give others a piece of his mind.) Jacksson also loved quality time outside, some walks he just wants to get a spot he can sunbath. Sometimes the porch works and other times in between the condos worked much better for him. In those cases, I’d sit out with him, play a little, then read. I happen to be around 2 Saturday’s which is market day and when the fair was happening, absolutely LOVE that everything is a 15+ minute walk away. You’re able to see what’s around without being far from your destination. There’s also plenty hills and biking trails. Overall great sit and would recommend!
We had a super stay in the stunning location of Kirriemuir in beautiful Scotland! I met our host Kathleen via a zoom chat beforehand. She is an excellent host. All the detail around caring for Magnus (her adoring cat) is well organised. Magnus is a darling! Their home is extremely comfortable and situated on a beautiful plot of land. It would have been very easy to stay longer. Thank you Magnus and Kathleen, you spoiled me!
I would happily sit for Jamie again. Marvin was a chilled cat, as long as he was fed and watered he was absolutely fine doing his own thing which was cool with me. He was super interested in my guitar whenever I would play. Nancy was a bundle of joy and energy who kept me on my toes in a good way, super playful and inquisitive as you would expect from a kitten. I really enjoyed their company and they both came to stay on my bed at night which was nice to wake up too. Barry super low maintenance, checking on him daily ensuring his lamp was working and he had water and food every other day. Jamie's house was immaculate and well looked after, the bed super comfortable and it was equipped with everything one would need from a house. I would highly recommend sitting for Jamie
We had so much fun looking after Thiago, he was a bag of energy, so sweet and effective. He just wants to play all day and cuddle up, and he is so happy. Kavita and Tom are lovely they kept in touch with us while they were away, and their home is lovely and comfortable.
