Five stars aren't enough for how excellent Kelli and Warren were as housesitters! We would give them 10+. We came home to happy dogs and our house in the same if not better shape than we left it. We also appreciated how flexible and accommodating they were during several unexpected events during their stay. The first was that Dash got a horrible rash the day before they arrived. This was the first time he'd had one so bad. We pride ourselves in letting housesitters know in advance of any challenging circumstances, as who wants/needs a surprise that someone could have told you about on a housesit? Because it flared up the day before, we let them know when they arrived about the medication he needed, and they were fantastic in taking care of Dash. They ultimately had to take him to the vet while we were gone, and they did a tremendous job of communicating with us and the vet. Dash is doing much better now and we're grateful we could leave him in such capable hands. The other unexpected event is that our air-conditioning unit went out during their stay! In Texas! They were fantastic in letting the maintenance folks in to do the repairs and communicating with us about it. A portable AC was installed but it only cooled the place down a bit. We ended up buying another portable air-conditioning unit (for us and future housesitters in case this happens again) so they could stay cool. Still, it took several days to rectify the situation. They went above and beyond, including cleaning up our place from the maintenance people welding and bringing all their equipment in and out. If you want reliable house-sitters who can troubleshoot, take fantastic care of your pets, and communicate well, we highly recommend Kelli and Warren!
Nancy was a delightful house sitter, connected easily with our dog, Madden, and left the house in excellent order. We would not hesitate to invite her back in the future.
