I got so lucky that I found Heissen. I knew she would be the perfect match the day I met her. I was very anxious to use the platform for the first time and therefore had to meet some sitters in person. Heissen was so punctual, responsive, reliable and anything I could have asked for. She was very self sufficient and communication was on point. I know it was not always easy here with my neighbors and parking situation, but Heissen never complained. Most importantly, she took the best care of my senior precious dog with pancreatitis. She was so patient and consistent with him, and I know he can be pain! He has accidents and needs very predictable schedule which she was able to support him with. Overall, amazing experience. It was so great to be able to relax on vacation knowing that my apt and dog are in good hands. Even my neighbors who always complain and can get little territorial noted Heissen was very warm and respectful. Heissen definitely exceeded my expectations, and I am so glad she house sat for me!

Anna did a great job watching our dog while we were away for a week. She sent plenty of updates kept the house very tidy and it looked just like it did when we left. We would definitely recommend Anna.

Lauren was fabulous! I needed someone last minute, so I posted a listing and she responded and was able to come stay with my sweet dog with less than a week's notice. Because of my work schedule we weren't able to talk until the night before, and she was so friendly and reassuring and made sure to ask me all the questions she needed to know and offer any information I needed to make me feel comfortable. Not having met her, it was incredible that I felt like she was a trusted friend before I had to go. 

I had to leave For my trip before I was able to meet her in person, but I felt comfortable enough to leave my door code and leave my dog alone until she came. When she got here she texted me right away and sent pictures of them playing together which was a huge relief to me.

During her stay she continued to send me photos, pick up my mail, and keep me posted on everything. She was incredibly friendly and gracious.

When I got home she had left everything in perfect condition, very clean, and took care to wash the towels and sheets that had been used. I would absolutely invite Lauren to housesit again and I am so grateful that she was willing to come on such short notice.

What an incredible housesitting journey this has been! From the moment we arrived, Maria and Tony welcomed us warmly. We had the chance to meet them before the official sit, allowing us to connect, chat, and get acquainted with their lovely home.

The house itself was a canvas of comfort and care with everything at your fingertips. Immaculately clean and had all the essentials – you could tell they put a lot of thought into it.  Everywhere you looked, there was a sense of freshness and coziness. The clean linens and towels they prepared for us were a testament to their attention to detail. To top it all off, they went the extra mile and even cleared out the fridge for us, making sure we had all the space we needed for our stay. They even surprised us with a delicious lunch in there – it's the little things that make the experience extra special.
And then there's the private pool, it's a paradise within a paradise. The water is so clear, it practically calls out to you to jump in and leave all your worries behind. Each time you take a plunge, it's like getting a refreshing escape from the scorching Dubai sun. Whether you're floating around on a lazy afternoon or taking a dip under the stars at night, the pool is the ultimate getaway. It's like having your own personal oasis right in the backyard, and believe me, resisting its charm is nearly impossible.

The community is a gem on its own – peaceful and zen, surrounded with lush tall trees and stunning bougainvillea flowers in full bloom with shades of white and delicate blush pink - creating a hidden sanctuary vibe. And here's the cherry on top: The metro station is just a breezy five-minute walk away, making this stunning neighbourhood even more convenient. If you're here in Dubai for a visit, exploring the city couldn't be easier! Plus, this practical accessibility offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy city, giving you a tranquil place to return to.

Of course, we can't forget the dogs – the true heart of the experience. Their kind and gentle nature was a source of comfort, like a warm embrace after a long day. Their company turned moments of solitude into cherished memories, and their respectful demeanour was a reminder of the joy of companionship. Making sure they were all well taken care of was a breeze!
First in the spotlight is Grom, the laid-back voluptuous boy with a PhD in the art of lazing – he is the epitome of chill of them all. When the sun takes center stage, Grom is front row and soaking up those rays like a true sun aficionado. Strolling? Nah, not so much. He's all about waiting to waltz back home for his one true love: the prized treats. But here's where it gets hilarious: even when we're dripping wet in the water, Grom transforms into the unofficial lifeguard, approaches and struts over the water's edge with majestic curiosity and inspect our aquatic antics, making sure we're having a splashing good time. And let's not forget his true mission was to seek out affection and back pats. Grom isn't just a pro at lounging; he's also a master at stealing our hearts!

Jazz, the independent spirit among them, always nudging you to step outside and join her in monitoring the neighbourhood buzz or any intriguing outdoor sounds. She's like the local detective who's turned snooping into an art form.  She's got this undercover agent vibe, scaring the feathers off birds and greeting passersby like she's the boss of the block. And amidst all this, it's quite something to reveal that beneath her detectively vigilant exterior, she's an absolute sweetheart, a true angel in disguise.
 
Fluff is a ball of energy, and her affectionate personality is absolutely heartwarming. She might be the smallest of the bunch, but her liveliness more than makes up for it. She loves her "fresh air moments" all throughout the day, and the best part is, she's quite vocal about letting you know when it's time. She also holds the title for the fastest eater in the group. She’s always seems hungry, always ready for a meal and constantly looking for a nibble. Just remember, it's important not to overindulge her with treats or exceed the allowed portions of food for her, and the same goes for all of them, as they're all on a mission to shed some pounds and get back in shape. Watch out also for those cute paw taps – that's her way of asking for a treat, especially when you're munching away. And it's not just Fluff – all of them have a knack for giving those irresistible pleading looks. However, it's vital not to give in to the temptation of sharing human food as it's not part of their allowed diet and for staying healthy. 
Now, here's a quick tip: Fluff requires a touch of extra attention for her dental care. After giving her treats at night, remember to give her teeth a spray, as she can't have the same teeth-friendly treats as Jazz and Grom. And that's not all – to keep their eyes sparkling, they all need a gentle cleaning every two days. These thoughtful actions contribute to their overall well-being and happiness!

Speaking of care, let's also not forget Lemi, our delightful bird companion – taking care of her is as easy as pie. A brief daily visit to refresh her water, exchange few words and engage in a bit of friendly banter is all she asks for. And by feeding her every two days, you'll keep her in high spirits. 

On the day of their departure, we also had the chance to meet Sophie, who owns Lemi. Sophie radiates warmth and kindness. We discovered that she shares our love for books and even delves into the same reads as I do. And it's been an absolute pleasure getting to know her and everyone.

Summing it up, this sitting experience was a slice of heaven. From the chilled-out and beautiful atmosphere to the quick metro dashes, from the poolside fun to the furry friendships, it was a retreat we didn't know we needed. Already dreaming of a sequel to this fantastic escapade! Heartfelt thanks to Maria, Tony, and Sophie for everything. <3
