We absolutely loved spending a long weekend with Alfie. Stine was a great host and made us feel very welcome in her home. She even welcomed us into her pottery studio where we got to try our hand at clay making - we had to much fun. Alfie was a pleasure to look after. He loved his walks to the park and was fantastic on and off his lead. Stine was easy to communicate with and we would certainly sit for her again. Thanks again for having us!
This was an amazing house-sit! Cathy and Allen are lovely and easy to communicate with - and very organized, so it's easy to find everything in their large home. Rosie was a delight - she has the cutest little face and wagging tail, and doesn't hesitate to use them to try and get treats :) She took us for lovely walks on neighbourhood trails (seriously, she decides where to go and when she's had enough). She was very easy to care for, and we already miss her sweet face! Bunny was expectedly aloof, but we had no issues with her at all. She was very content sleeping and looking out the window, and tolerated us coming in to feed her and clean her litter box. We really enjoyed Cathy and Allen's stunning home, which they have made very warm and inviting, full of beautiful art and comfortable furniture. We highly recommend this house-sit, and we're hoping we can do it again.
The hugest thank you to Jane & Laurie 💙🙏 (I can’t thank you both enough.) If you ever have the pleasure to take care of this wonderful and lovely cats you’ll fall in love with them. Lucie has nice storys to tell and the cutest smile. Tilly loves to cuddle and is the most genius cat, she loves humans - and her food ☺️ And Sammy will be in my heart forever. I felt very home and Lagonisi is a great place to be. You can easily go to Athens by bus for a daytrip or to other beaches nearby. There‘s also a great place called Calme Garden in Lagonisi, they share dinners, workshops, music events, Yoga, .. absolutely worth it to visit and connect with the people! Thank you Jane & Laurie, I send lots of love 💙
We had a lovely time with Daphne! She is so cuddly and has lots of energy for all the playing you're up to! She could play all day, when you want to, but is happy chilling nearby you too (or following you around the house). She is gently with the kids, mostly, sometimes she stands up at them because she is so overexcited, but that was mostly appreciated or she stopped as soon as you remembered her. Walking with her was very easy, especially since there are fields with a footpath right next to the house. And her people are amazing! We were welcomed with a very delicious meal at our arrival in a warm and cosy home. Everything we needed was explained and Clive was available when we had further questions during our stay. The children fell so in love with Daphne! Theo was more for himself but wanted to get strokes from time to time, which we gladly gave. Some evenings he sat on our laps while others he preferred to stay for himself. He lets you know when it's time to give him food ? We would definitely recommend this sit as we were happy staying in this house with lovely people and animals in amazing surroundings with a lot to discover!
Frank is so easygoing, playful and affectionate, he was a joy to look after; he was a great companion and was pretty happy to sit and cuddle as much as possible. I'm missing him already. Carolyn was great to communicate with - we had a zoom call prior to the sit and then had plenty of time to go through everything when I first arrived. The welcome guide was also comprehensive and incredibly helpful about both Frank and the house. Clapham is a great area, there are loads of great shops and restaurants in and around the local area and the house is close to Clapham Common for walks with Frank which he loved. The house is welcoming and warm, Carolyn was really hospitable and I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 weeks based there. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to housesit and look after an adorable bulldog - I'd be happy to visit again
We had the best time with Tandy! Tandy is a pleasure to walk, play, and hangout with. Payal, the owner, was wonderful to work with and made us feel extremely welcome. We spent an hour with them before they left, and it made the transition really great for all of us. Payal has a beautiful and very clean home. We will keep an eye out on this house in order to stay again!!!!
