Dog Sitters in Yetminster

We cannot speak highly enough of Ros and Mike. They arrived on time and had clear questions and expectations of what would be required. Our house was spotless when we returned home and they had been extremely thoughtful in leaving some groceries for us as well as a beautiful bouquet. Our pets were very happy and it was clear they’d been very well cared for. We had regular updates and pictures whilst we were away, which was lovely. We would highly recommend Ros and Mike as reliable, trustworthy and caring housesitters.

Toni and Lee are a lovely couple who graciously looked after our rescue pup Mila, and our sometimes boisterous in-law's staffy, Betty. You could tell right away that they were animal lovers, and they quickly won over nervous Mila. Toni was great with communication both pre- and during the sit, sending plenty of photos and updates. The house was left totally tidy and the dogs were happy when we finally came through the door after our time away. Thank you again, Toni and Lee! Xx

There ought to be more than 5 stars. For Denise. She has been before and is always welcome. We feel very lucky if she has the free time to come to us. Cannot recommend too highly.

Antonio is such a lovely person who obviously loves animals and enjoys meeting their owners. He's become a real friend and is welcome back anytime.

Caroline and Joe were excellent, reliable house sitters. We felt very secure leaving Bella and the house in their hands. Bella was well and happy when we arrived home. The house was clean and tidy with everything in its place. They are very friendly and easy to get on with. We have no hesitation in recommending them and would be very happy to have them back anytime!

Alison is friendly, organised, and reliable. We had a video call with her before the sit, she arrived the day before we left to go through all of the cat's needs and she sent us daily updates. Our three cats were comfortable with Alison within a few hours which helped us to relax before leaving.

Our dogs had a fabulous time with Carol, and they loved her from the minute they met! She is the perfect house sitter and what peace of mind we had, going away for such a long period of time, leaving our ‘girls’ in such capable hands. They were walked regularly, enjoyed the cuddles, treats, and all the attention they were given. Our two dogs are aging and slowing down, which was taken into consideration during their walks, and we can't thank Carol enough for making sure they were ok, especially in the hot weather! It was very reassuring to receive all the regular pictures and updates to let us know that all was well with the girls, especially about Peppi’s poorly sore that was tended to with care. We couldn't have asked for a nicer person, who respected our home, and took the time to water the plants. The house was looked after beautifully and was spotless when we got home! Thank you, for taking such excellent care of our girls, you are always most welcome to sit for us again or pop in for a coffee and a cuddle with the girls if you are passing our way! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carol for house sitting as she is certainly a 5-star house sitter!

It was an absolute pleasure having Jasmine sit for us. Great communication from the start, lovely updates and photos of the boys (who clearly had a lovely time as they werent that bothered when we got back!) The house was immaculate when we returned. From our first video call we felt Lucy would be easy to communicate with, flexible, able to take our situation/requirements on board without issue, and someone we could trust. These initial feelings were reinforced once we met and during her sit. We agreed she should come a couple of days before we departed so we could show her round the neighbourhood and explain the details of the house and pets. We left confident that our house and pets would be well looked after, and this definitely proved the case. Unfortunately Lucy developed a cold on arrival and was certainly under the weather initially though she did not let this interfere. Lucy did a great job of looking after Jake and our new cat Simba, demonstrating a great love and care for them, soon winning the affection and confidence of both. Simba,being in part feral, has always been vary wary of any strangers and immediately disappears as soon as anyone calls round, but even before we left Lucy had gained his trust. We also lent Lucy our L200 truck, having put her on the insurance, and this was also well looked after. Lucy did encounter some issues with the internet and other minor problems, but via phone calls Lucy was able to explain the problem and I to provide a solution which Lucy had the technical ability to understand and thus resolve the issues. She kept in regular contact with frequent photos/videos of what the pets were up to and did a good job of looking after the house, even sweeping up the copious amounts of leaves that had fallen. It was a pleasure to have her stay, we wish her all the best in her future travels, and hope she will come and sit again sometime in the future. We have no hesitation in recommending her.

I can’t recommend Annie highly enough. She was simply amazing. She was so kind to our dog Mitsy and treated her as if she were her own. She was also very patient with us and sent us daily updates and pictures/videos of Mitsy as this was our first time leaving Mitsy for such a long time. Mitsy was so loved and looked after by Annie. She looked after Mitsy so well when she had some bowel issues and even bought and cooked fresh chicken to get her back on track. Annie also looked after our house extremely well and even stopped the rabbits from getting in the poly tunnel. And to top it all off she had a delicious dinner ready for us when we came home. We feel and hope we have made a friend for life. And you could not get a better person than Annie to look after your pets and home. Thank you Annie.

Olivia did a great job looking after Archie (the dog) whilst we were away. All communications with Olivia were excellent, and because she was local she popped round before we went away so we could show her the ropes. Olivia arrived in very good time and stayed until we got back. The house was clean and tidy, the dog was well cared for and happy and Olivia really seemed to enjoy being here which we liked. We hope that she can help us again.

Hayley and Marcus returned for a third time to look after Mousey. He is getting older and now has regular medication. This was not a problem for Hayley and Marcus, they looked after him very well and I believe that he enjoys their company too. This was the longest we have left Mousey (3 weeks) and I don't think he missed us at all! I would recommend Hayley and Marcus without hesitation and hope that they would be happy to return again.
