Renata was available before for a meeting via zoom. This was our first time having a pet sitter and Renata was excellent. She's done many sits and knows how to care for a small dog. She communicated well and kept in touch during the sit. I appreciated the pics of our dog and felt she was in good hands with Renata.
Shannon and Aaron were great! They responded promptly to any messages I sent and left our house spotless. They were also super independent and chill which was helpful because we were traveling in a place without great cell service or internet. I would absolutely have them back any time!
I had a lovely last-minute long weekend looking after handsome Monty. He is very well-behaved and friendly, a big softy! It was great walking out with him. I came down to Richmond the evening before Sarah left, which was very useful as well as being very pleasant, and in addition, I was left clear instructions. The house was fine (really well placed with everything you could need within walking distance) and the garden gorgeous. Monty and I began and ended our day amongst the foliage and the tinkle of the fountain. A thoroughly enjoyable sit.
I looked after the animals here for a week in July 2024. I had a video call with Cambria beforehand. Cambria was excellent with communication, both before and during the sit. The pets were divine, and the descriptions of their characters were spot on. I felt very welcomed in their home, and wanted for nothing. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. Blue snuggled with me on the cooler nights which was lovely. The location is lovely though not accessible with public transport, you will definitely need your own car. The road up to the house is very winding, narrow and extremely steep up the driveway. I would definitely recommend this sit for any genuine animal and nature lovers, and would happily sit for Kevin and Cambria again if the opportunity presented itself.
It was such a pleasure house sitting for Greta and her family. Polly is the cutest thing and so easy to care for. Greta’s home is beautiful, spacious and decorated in a style that is also comfy and cozy. Her back yard is like a mini sanctuary full of rose bushes and trees providing just enough shade with lights strung up in the back making it feel magical at night. The most memorable thing to my husband and I was Greta’s hospitality. Upon arriving we found a gift basket full of chocolates and other treats. Clean towels, robes and even different types of pillows were provided for us as well. And although my husband and I brought our own food Greta made sure to let us know that we were free to anything she had there. It honestly takes a special person to make someone they’ve just met feel comfortable and welcomed in a way that family makes you feel. Thank you, Greta and Andrew for the amazing experience. My husband and I could not recommend you enough. We would not hesitate to sit for you again. Both you and Andrew were thoughtful and kind and we already miss little Polly.
Pictures of Frank and Chip popped up on my phone and my heart melted all over again. I had the BEST time enjoying the company of these precious dachshunds. Their personalities are a balance of independent and loving, so they cuddle up against you if you watch TV and then they entertain themselves if you decide to work from home. I was lucky to be able to spend my Thanksgiving with them. ~ Thank you Kody and fam for having me! And, I can’t tell you how nice it was arriving to see a Christmas tree already set up. Thank you for the heartwarming stay.
I had a relaxing stay at Ken‘s home with good company of the two little friends. Sugar is super cute and is always looking for close contact. Cookie can be crazy but is also very lovable. I’d recommend to stay with those two if you are enjoying giving them much attention. The apartment is very comfortable and I love the easy access to both outside terraces with great views - every time of the day! The contact to Ken was very helpful. I could always ask about questions I had (Most of them we already talked about before). Thank you guys for having me, I had a great time :)
Freddie and Hugo were a pleasure to look after. Freddie was the most gentle big boy with plenty of love to give us. Hugo liked to do his own thing but then loved cuddles in bed at night. Milla was great at communicating and her family were very welcoming into their home. Thanks for choosing us!
