Taking care of the house in Valencia was a great time. Simon is a real pleasure to hang out with and we got to pick his brain about living in Spain and share experiences of living around the globe. We didn't get to meet Christen face to face but we stayed in contact to share little updates and photos of the pets and she is a very kind and sweet person who we wish we could have met. The neighborhood the house is in is a really charming part of the city. It's technically just outside of the city apparently but it's an easy walk or bike ride to the Turia Park and someday soon the Tram will take you into the city from their neighborhood. The neighbors were very nice and offered help if we needed it. The balcony outside the bedroom overlooked the cute street which has the neighbors outside chatting or napping. It was a unique experience we won't soon forget. Maple and Lilly were an adorable pair who we enjoyed taking care of, giving plenty of pets, and having a little fun photo shoot with. Lilly was the needy one who is by your side at all times. Lilly chills on the patio but every once and a while will come and need some TLC. Kitty is without a doubt the best cat we've ever looked after and maybe have ever met quite honestly. She is super pretty, super loving, and will sleep on you the entire day and night if you encourage her to come into your room. Unfortunately the sit ended right when the Falles festival was starting. We got to see the fireworks but didn't get a chance to see the fires as we had to rush down to southern Spain right afterwards. Oh well, maybe next time! We look forward to visiting Valencia again to have so more bravas with Simon and give some more pats to the pets.
I had a really great time at this sit. Jennifer and Taymour were wonderful hosts. Whenever I had a question or issue they were well prepared and easy to get a hold of. They had detailed notes that were easy to follow and made it a very enjoyable experience. But on to the real stars of the review, Riley and Smokey. Riley is a great companion and well trained. She is not the biggest fan of going on walks but loved hanging out especially by the pool. Smokey enjoyed when I pulled out a laser pointer and occasionally came looking for some pets between meals. Smokey does know the house better than anyone and did manage to disappear on me for an hour before casually walking out to request dinner. All in all this was a great sit. If asked and if I am available, I would definitely come back!
We had a lovely stay with Claire and Cooper! Claire warmed up to us right way, she was curious and playful. It took Cooper a little longer to make friends but on the second day, after some serious coaxing, he started to trust us. After that, he was all snuggles! Jeff was a great host, sharing info about the apartment and surrounding area in our walkthrough. He sent us a bunch of recommendations for local restaurants and places of interest. We loved exploring the area. The apartment is lovely. It is spacious and well-appointed and was left incredibly clean for us. We would love to come back one day!
mitzy + kay were the greatest. i felt very welcomed + at home during my stay at this beautiful condo in the perfectly central beacon hill neighborhood. kay is kind + communicative + made my stay very enjoyable. i would happily pet sit for mitzy anytime + hope to continue coming back to help kay in the future.
I had a great time in Rome, taking care of Kimchi. Claudia and Rosa are kind and inspiring people, very easy to communicate with and super helpful. They provided all the information needed to take care of Kimchi and told me about the area, providing tips where to eat and so on. Their home is very beautiful and clean, in a nice and safe area, it's perfect really. I loved to spend time with the jung kimchi, he is a super active cat and always ready to play. After a few days he was even more trusting and loved to get cuddled. After one month staying there it felt hard to say goodbye to kimchi. I can highly recommend this house sit and would be happy to return for another sit!

Elizabeth has been our dog walker/pet sitter since 2023. Our dog, Charlie, needs 3 walks a day and Elizabeth takes good care of him. He gets exercise and enjoys time in her company. She is also great when our fire alarms went off in our house during our last trip. She disarmed them and sent pictures. We were happy she was able to take care of the problem. She is a great communicator and I highly recommend her to those who want to leave their animal with a responsible and caring pet sitter!

Elizabeth has been watching our first rescue dog Nico since we got him in 2021, and now our latest addition, Vinny. As with a lot of rescues, ours had some social/ behavioral issues in the beginning, but Elizabeth is an expert. She knows how to work with and around those issues and also make recommendations. The controlled socialization our dogs get when staying overnight with Elizabeth have been immensely helpful to their training. They come home pooped and happy from all the playing! She also offers reasonable pricing and flexible scheduling. If you’re in the Davis area, highly recommend giving Elizabeth a call.
Elizabeth is awesome, she takes wonderful care of our Jack Russell mix and border collie mix. They always come home happy and smiling and well cared for. She sends lots of pictures to keep us updated and we are really grateful for her skill with the dogs. Our border collie is on medication which Elizabeth skillfully administers and doesn’t always get along with other dogs in our experience, but Elizabeth is so good with her. She always comes home better trained and socialized then we left her :-)

Elizabeth loves our dogs and cats like they're her own and they are always excited to see her! She sends pictures from the dog park and when she sits the cats she often spends time hanging out with them beyond a standard visit. She was very patient with out dog who is not great with new people and going to dog group with Elizabeth has been great for her self confidence.

One of the only places we trust to leave our slightly reactive dog. It is a bit out of the way for us, but the peace of mind that she will come back exactly as we left her is worth it. She is well taken care of. The photos are a nice bonus

I waited a while and now our dogs have had multiple stays here. Basically, it's wonderful! I've been on three surprise tours and they've all been great! My timid dog has gotten more and more comfortable and happy to get there. We did a few warm up days with him and then overnights before a long trip. My outgoing dog has always just loved it! I love the people there, they always do their very best to help me, 100% of the time. Also, several times I've been there people have insisted on leaving additional tips because they are so grateful to have their dog well taken care of... which I completely understand. Thank you!!!
I recommend Happy Paws Kennels for your fur baby or babies :) The process to check in for boarding was really easy and quick. Plus, they have a new office located beyond the gates, which is always nice because you'll have a chance to see the other happy dogs that are boarded there. They were also very communicative and made it easy for bookings. They also gave me complimentary baths at the end of their stay, which was very nice! One feedback that I would add is that I wish they would send pictures of the dogs as a compliment to the stay. A suggestion for Happy Paws is to provide the options for clients to choose the option of receiving pictures and updates during the stay. I think that will really enhance and add value to the experience. Overall, the experience was great, and my dogs seemed happy.
Boarded my dog here for 2 nights, and it was a very good experience! Friendly, experienced staff. This is a very clean facility and the dogs get plenty of excercise(weather permitting)!
Where to begin…I dropped my dogs off yesterday and my truck decided to just die right then and there. The team was SO fantastic and helpful trying to get it up and going. Above and beyond thoughtfulness. I can’t thank them all enough for the help and genuine concern. Getting to what their business actually offers — Our dogs LOVE it here - we are new to the area so have only done day visits so far, but I am sleeping well at night knowing they are here while I’m away for the first time. We absolutely love these guys. They took such great care of our puppy baby. She slept for 2 days when we got home from all the fun and exercise she had. We plan on going back regularly. They have great rates and a military discount. Thanks for really taking care of my baby.

I'm a veterinarian who has been using Ashley's pet sitting services consistently for at least five years. She and her team are so reliable! Once when I was traveling in 2018, my house was broken into, and thankfully the dogs were not let out by the burglars. Ashley and her team handled communication beautifully, as well as coordinating with my landlord and the police. I could not have felt more assured from afar that my pets (and my house) were being looked after appropriately. Amazing service! We were traveling for a week, and Ashleys Pawsome Pet Sitting took great care of our 2 cats. Cassidy was great, we received daily pictures of our kitties, and we could tell they really liked her. I’m definitely using them again!
My husband booked a second honeymoon in Cancun and I was anxious. I didn't know what we were going to do about care for our baby, Scarlett. A coworker recommended Ashley's Pawsome Pets and we are so thankful. They are bonded and they are background checked. We had a meet and greet with our sitter. Which I appreciated so much. Our sitter, Amanda, was absolutely wonderful. She came twice a day and was so attentive to Scarlett. I couldn't have asked for better! She is amazing! My favorite thing is they have a journal with pictures so you know everything that happens with your fur baby. My only con would be the extra fees that aren't 100% transparent. The service is pricey, (but worth it), however, when I went to pay the bill, there was an added fee for administration and then again for credit cards (which I use for security.,) I'm willing to pay whatever is needed for the care of my pet, but it was a tad surprising. Thar said, they are amazing snd we love Amsnda! We will be using them again in the future! The service is outstanding!! The attached pictures are from Amanda's very detailed journals!
We have used Ashley's Pawsome Pet sitting for every single vacation we've taken the past year and greatly appreciate the services of her staff. As someone prone to worrying, the pet journals and photos her sitters take and send daily are wonderful. While I have only had two different sitters, they are always kind, professional, and follow instructions well. I feel like my cat is in good hands when I hire a pet sitter through her.
We have left two different dogs in Ashley's care. Each time, we had so much confidence about how they were faring while we were traveling (in large part because Ashley sends pictures showing how comfortable and happy they are in her home; she sends sweet messages, too). Every aspect of the visit went exactly as planned; her website is easy to use and very informative. All in all, a very professional transaction with a very loving caregiver.
Our 2 black kitties are our pride and joy and we hate to leave them but now, in our retirement years, we are finally able to travel. After asking neighbors to feed our kitties, we tried Ashleys Pawsome and are VERY happy! We can schedule half-hour or longer sessions which include feeding, catbox cleaning and playing with our furry kids. Maybe better are the timely and thorough 'journal reports' we receive after each visit! We're told hew our pets are, and what services were rendered. Let the vacations continue!
Ashley was wonderful with our 3 dogs and cat for the two days we were away. She sent me pics of all of them each time she visited them during the day and I can say, they looked really happy! We've never left them before, so this was a fantastic experience for us, but mainly our dogs enjoyed her so much as well! Will for sure use your services in the future.

Ashley's Pawsome Pet Sitting is the best! Ashley and each of her sitters is smart, kind, and really great with our beloved, quirky, doggie family members. My job has me travel alot. I recently moved from AZ to NV and I didn't have a pet-sitter for my tortoises. I needed to go to Ca for training and Terrell was very respectful when I first messaged him asking if he would watch after my pets for the day until I got out of work since I couldn't check into my hotel until later in the day, and ai didn't want to leave them in the car while I was at work. They pet-sit for dogs, do require proof of vaccines, and would appreciate at least a couple of days notice so they can rearrange their room for the other pets being boarded. The business is run from their home, and they allow the other dogs being boarded to roam with each other, so they aren't caged up in a kennel all day. The day I stopped by they were watching over a newborn puppy along with about 5 other adult dogs. In the past they have watched after birds, but he mainly specializes in dog care. However he will watch over mostly all pets with enough notice. Keep in mind this is a personal, and private pet care service not your typical big franchise or well known business therefore, it is not going to involve any paperwork, and you do pay by cash. In order to know the cost all you do is contact him via his website by researching the name of the business and the option to message him comes up. When I asked for a quote he was pretty responsive, I messaged him around 6:00pm as I was leaving that next day, he got back to me around 8:00pm. If I remember correctly you could also pick up your pet at 11pm as that is the time they close their doors for the business, but you may notice that they do get antsy if you tell them a time, and aren't there minutes before, so you may hear from them via text when time gets closer to the expected pickup time. Otherwise, they seem to care after the pets kindly and are open to following instructions on feedings, pet care, or medications if needed. Best of all they surprised me with a couple of images of my pets while I was at work, as you can see my male tortoise dirtied up his water soon after they gave it to him.
We are really thankful for TJ service. After a last minute call he accepted both our dogs and was patient enough for both. He updates us everyday, highly recommended.
I took my two dogs to Tj's All Per Care for three weeks stay. Terrel went way beyond what he was asked for. He took a good care of my dogs, he kept me informed with daily messages of the dog's activities, he fed the dogs as he was asked. I'm very happy with Terrel's service and honesty. Great place! this was my dogs first time with a boarder and he definitely benefited from it. I was out of town on a work trip for 3 weeks and I didn’t want my dog to be in a kennel majority of the day so this was a perfect fit for us along with becoming more social with dogs. He went to the park everyday and TJ also sent me at least 2 pictures everyday and answered any question I asked on my pup. After I picked up my pup he has been sleeping wherever he can, definitely not the last time we’ll be using his services.
TJ runs his service like a business. We were especially impressed with his professionalism, foresight, and experience. While watching our dogs we encountered an unforeseen travel situation that he was able to accommodate with no issues. The entire time we felt completely comfortable and safe with him watching over our dogs. He provided daily photos and updates on how they were doing. We would definitely go back to TJ and recommend him to anyone looking for a competent, communicative, and professional sitter.
Terrell did an amazing job with my 7 month Doberman. We were in a last minute bind and Terrell was able to take him the day of AND keep my dog for 4 days. Terrell really does know how to handle all of the different personalities which is very important when you have a large dog with a lot of energy and separation anxiety. I noticed that when I picked my dog up that he was calm and leaning against Terrell as we were talking. We were very Appreciative of Terrell's flexibility and Happy with the state of our dog upon our return. We will be returning with no doubt!!!
TJ went above and beyond to accommodate us as we were moving from Japan to Fairfield. He has the most flexible hours for drop off and pick up and is reachable by phone at almost all hours. My dog has never been happier when boarded...probably because she is not locked in a concrete run/cage, instead, she is hanging out in a comfortable home! My dog was due her monthly preventative medication and TJ ensured she received. He takes all his boarding dogs to the local dog park and keeps them actively engaged with other dogs, toys, treats, and human interaction. TJ sent us daily photos/updates and it's clear he loves our dog almost as much as we do. I will be using his service again and again. In fact I'm hoping he will do some doggy daycare too!
TJ is Awesome! Knows how to handle and treat dogs, I have a old German Shepard and a old Jackussel mix. Both dogs came back happy and healthy. TJ takes them to the park, plays with them and let's the do what they want. He is very professional, polite, super responsive to calls and texts and sends pictures to you 2 time a day of your pet. I will recommend TJ to everyone!
It's a great place! It was my dogs first time with a boarder and he difinitely loves it. TJ did a wonderful job taking care of my older labrador! I was in need of last-minute pet care for a day trip for work, and was SO grateful that TJ was able to keep my sweet old dog entertained while I was away. (He even sent me a nice picture of all the fun they had at the dog park!) My dog is pretty energetic and extraverted for an old dog, and he came home super happy and exhausted -- I think dogs that like to run and play with other dogs will have a wonderful time with TJ.
The dogs are always well cared for and the dogs play a lot all day long with each other. My dog loves going there because he gets to play with all the other dogs. When I leave my dog there and go out of town, I feel totally confident that he will be taking care of and fed and loved on!
We LOVE Pampered Pets! They take such good care of our little Mochi! She has a blast there. They always post pictures to update us while we are away. All of the care staff are very loving with the pups!
We have been taking our little “Apple” to Pampered Pets for her vacation while we are on ours since she was very young.She loves it. The minute she gets there she runs away her little tail going fifty miles an hour and never looking back. She loves playing with the other doggies and sitting on the owners lap. The facility is spotless. We recommend Pampered Pets without reservation.

Cannot express how wonderful this business and its owners are. We've used them a few times for drop in care of our cats while out of town, and have always been impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility in requests, and most of all their sincere care of our pets. But this past week, we were absolutely blown away with how over the top Jen went in helping care for one of cats who was diagnosed with renal failure, while we ourselves were going through our own personal medical issues out of town. She quite literally saved our kitty's life by finding a vet ER with space, transporting him to and from the hospital, keeping us in the loop every step of the way. And all with the utmost compassion. She even texted the morning after we were all home to check in. We cannot speak highly enough of this company. Especially Jen. Thank you for lightening our load in the midst of a tough week. Recommend with 10 stars!!!
We are so lucky to have Barking Meow here in town. We have two kitties that needed care for five days. One of them takes a daily pill and for that reason we have not gone on vacation as a family for over three years. We found Barking Meow and for the past five days they took care of our cats with love, kindness, and care. We were able to go on vacation worry free and returned to happy kitties. We absolutely love Barking Meow Pet Solutions. We have a 7 year old chocolate lab that I hate leaving behind but when we must we feel so comfortable leaving him at Barking Meow. We receive daily morning and evening text with pics of Roux on his walks, playing or lounging with his home away from home family. I love that fact that Roux is not stuck in a kennel but with the family in their home where he is spoiled with interaction and love.
Barking Meow Pet Solutions does a fantastic job at caring for your pets. I have never used any pet sitting companies in the past and found them listed in Vacaville's Best, Jen and Brian are wonderful. They set up a meet and greet with you and your pets to go over their routine and any specific needs they may have, very thorough with taking notes and asking questions. What I enjoyed most about their service was the pet check in notifications in which you are able to see time stamped pictures of your pets, GPS location of the visit and can keep track of their water and food being refilled and refreshed as well as the litter being clean. If you are looking for a pet sitting company that will give you 100% peace of mind while you are out traveling, I highly recommend Barking Meow Pet solutions. I will certainly be requesting their services in the future.
Jen and team were amazing and so professional. I cannot recommend them enough! We had just moved to the area when we had to leave our 2 cats. It was so nice being able to leave them in our new home rather than worry about boarding them to minimize the stress/disruption. When we came home, they were both waiting in the kitchen for Jen--and were so disappointed it was US who walked through the door ha! We got pictures and updates every day and they were so kind in bringing in mail/boxes and taking out our trash. Will absolutely use again in the future and would recommend to anyone!

It's a great feeling to know when you are away that your pet is being cared for like you would. Whenever we are away Jennifer sends us pictures and messages about how Maddie is doing. I can’t say enough good things about Barking Meow Pet Solutions. We are fairly new to the area and we interviewed a lot of pet sitters. Jen and Brian got to know our two corgis and the dogs just loved them. We left them with Jen and Brian while we went on vacation for 10 days. Our fur babies were walked, fed, and played with and loved. We received pics and updates everyday. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur babies. We just recently had to board our 3 dogs who have not been out of our care for YEARS. I was nervous how they would respond to us being gone until I had our meet and greet with these wonderful people. They are so caring and welcoming! They have a fantastic set up at their home which makes it that much more easily adjustable for the pups. We got text/picture updates everyday and they are very responsive to any questions I had. We will definitely be using their services again and would 100% recommend them to every pet owner!
Absolutely the best pet sitters! We are so thankful to have found Jen & her team! The service is above & beyond our already high expectations. Their updates & pictures of each of visit warmed our hearts to see the joy they brought into our home. Our pets bonded with them right off the bat & enjoyed every minute of being able to stay in the comfort of their home with multiple visits/walks each day. Medications, special food and crazy rituals were no problem. We now have no worries when having to leave our pets. Thank-you!!
Took our Golden to the splash pad night. They had the nicest facility!! So much room for the dogs to run around in, very clean and no broken toys/furniture. My golden had so much fun and I will definitely be signing her up for a day care session.
Great place to take your dog for day care or swim fun. I've taken my bullmastiff to day care and open swim. She lived both and came home tired and happy. Bit expensive buy you're paying for good care of your dog. I really appreciate that they screen your pet and have separation of different temperaments. Open swim in wknds is great and pretty cheap at $10 per dog. I highly recommend and will be back often. They have boarding service too, but I've never used it.
We rented the pool with some dog park friends and had a blast. The staff are very friendly and the pool was ready to have our pack of dogs rage. Some seating provided, bring a towel for yourself and wear clothes you don't mind getting soaked because the dogs will shake all over you!

The staff here is great! Our pup had an amazing day swimming here, we are planning on coming back for daycare :) (And I must say... It's so refreshing to find a place where pitbulls are treated equally!)
I took my dog, Huffy, to the Animal Den for their open swim. She had a blast! All the doggies loved the pool and I got to enjoy some wine while she played. It was a win all around! My only gripe is the admission fee is $10. The fee is reasonable but it does keep us from going as frequently as we would like!
My dog has been going here for daycare 4 days a week for the last year and is so happy and excited whenever we arrive. Previous places we went for daycare I could see him on camera just sitting by the gate wanting to leave, and he was never eager to walk through the door. I think the staff here have gotten to know him and what makes him happy to be there so he feels much more comfortable. They also do cute holiday activities and dogs of the week which are adorable extra touches. Overall it’s been a great experience!
Such nice and caring individuals! They can accommodate almost anything! Very patient and compassionate for not only the fur babies but the fur parents as well! As for my Meeko he is having the time of his life for his first time. He is literally smiling. Great decision to board him here. I would high recommend this place!
They have been taking care of my loved ones for nearly 40 years. I've never boarded my dogs anywhere else and hope I never have to. They give great care and love and my dogs have fun there. And I have peace of mind.
River dogs resort is absolutely amazing! I am a bit overly protective of my dog and I never hesitate to leave him at River dogs resort. He can tell when we’re pulling into their driveway and is immediately excited. He gets to play with lots of friendly dogs all day and I never have to worry about how he is doing. The owner, Dina, is a true dog lover and treats all the dogs as if they are her own. She is flexible and always looking out for what will be best for your dog. My dog is an 85 pound German shepherd mix who has lots of energy and he always comes home happy and tired. You should look no further if you want a place your doggo will love.

River Dogs is a home-away-from-home for our 2-year-old Golden Retriever, Emma. She is always in a good mood after we pick her up. River Dogs is the best! our dog loves it there and the owner is so nice and helpful and loves dogs! our flight was canceled at Christmas and rescheduled for days later after we had already dropped our dog off. River Dogs extended our kennel time so we could spend longer with family and took such good care of her. so helpful and understanding!!!!! will always go there!!!

Yep, a 5 star review for Dina and River Dog Resort! We needed a last minute fun and safe spot for our 12 yo American Foxhound and were so happy Dina had an opening for Chuck. Shortly after arriving, Chuck was adventurous and tried to escape by scaling a fence but Dina did not let that affect her ability to provide safe and loving care for his stay. Upon our return she told us what happened and figured out solutions for his next stay communicating in a professional, caring and understanding way. We are impressed and highly recommend RDR!
Our boxer Abbey LOVES going to see Miss Dina every week! Abbey always has such a fun time playing with her dog buddies. We also board our dog here a few times a year and always know she will be very well taken care of. River Dogs Resort is such a great location and we will never go anywhere else!
Dina and her staff have been taking care of our two large dogs for about 5 years now! They were always responsive and easy to do pick ups and drop offs. The pups were always well cared for, happy to go(could not wait to get taken back to play!!), and exhausted when we picked them up! We were very sad to move away because it was such a wonderful gift to have found such a caring place for our fur-babies! I recommend them without any hesitation!!!
We have always been a let's-find-a-house-sitter type family. We were in a pinch and River Dogs came to the rescue! We have ditched a house sitter completely now, as our rambunctious golden puppy loves to wrestle and play in their large yard while our small dog hangs out, snuggles and shares kisses with Dina. We highly recommend giving River Dogs a whirl!
Stacy is ABSOLUTELY the most caring, thoughtful and thorough pet sitter that we have had! We have had overnights with many steps that our pups need (dog mom imposed I guess!) and Stacy never said anything was too much. Rather, Stacy understands that dogs are our kids - and they deserve the best care and love. She has a ton of affection and patience even for our “problem child” and loves all animals no matter their personalities. In a world where it’s so difficult to find pet sitters that really go the extra mile and not have to worry about anything - Stacy is a god send! Stacy is the best! Professional, hardworking, reliable, and, just as importantly, so sweet and friendly. She truly loves your dog as her own! My boy Shadow is obsessed with her. They hit it off immediately, and it was such a relief to know he was in good care during an extended vacation of ours. I think he was so comfortable and having such a blast with Stacy, he was almost disappointed we came home 😆
Stacy is the best, and our senior dogs (17 and 15 year olds) absolutely love her! I don’t think I trust anyone with our fur babies as much as I trust her! She’s also very flexible and charges more reasonably compared to other services out there.
Can’t say enough about how great Stacy is with my two senior fur babies! She visits with them while I work, and also takes excellent care of them when I go out of town. Stacy sends plenty of updates and pictures, which is very important to me, since my pups both have health issues. She clearly loves pets and I feel like I couldn’t leave mine in better hands. I could take about how amazing Stacy K is ALL day. My husband and I have 3 dogs, and have always struggled to find good a good sitter for them in the past. When we met Stacy almost 2 years ago, our dogs have never received better care, and we have never felt so stress free while leaving town because we know that our babies are in the best hands. Stacy makes sure they get their walks, rain or shine, and gives them so much of her time and love. She is punctual, reliable, understands animals and their behavior, a very good communicator, and has the biggest heart. We trust Stacy explicitly with our dogs, which is not something that we have ever been able to say about any pet sitter before her. Amazing people. Amazing experience. We responded to a post for a rescue beagle ready for adoption. You can tell this dog has been well taken care of. He was full of life when we met him... running around and happy. He smelled and looked very clean... they even had a special collar to help him... (I was told it lets out hormones to help him calm) OF COURSE we adopted this lil guy, he fit so well in to our family, it was a perfect match. But we really noticed how good Happy Campers Boarding Kennels is after the second day of having him. It was obvious they showed this puppy love, and they took the time to train him... he was well cared for and very responsive to us. I want to thank Happy Campers for giving us joy and allowing us to have this wonderful addition to our family. If we need kennel service, I know we would not have to ever worry if we bring our doggies here. I also love the piggies and donkeys and the furry cow!!!
The staff are awesome and are experts in keeping their furry boarders safe and comfortable. We have boarded our dog here at least three times already and each time, they took very well care of our little fur baby. Very much recommended!
I had my two cats stay at Happy Campers for about a week and they were great. My cats weren't overly stressed and loved the people who worked there. The people were very helpful and understanding of our needs and made the whole ordeal easy for this anxious cat mum. If we need to board our two cats again we will definitely choose this place .
We recently boarded our dog at Happy Campers over Thanksgiving and he came home with a severe case of kennel cough, despite being fully up-to-date on all his vaccinations, including Bordetella. The staff are very friendly, but unfortunately, we will not be using their services again. Quick Update: I attempted to reach out to Happy Campers by phone and email to alert them to the kennel cough situation. It's been 8 days since my email, and no one even bothered to respond. Which just goes to show how little they actual care about the wellbeing of your pet and the safety of their facilities.

If Happy Campers is full, I stay home with my dogs. They care for my babies like their own. I have dogs with special needs and they make the needed accommodations. They are very good at communicating anything that comes up while my babies are there.

We needed some help during our travels from NC to get treatment for our daughter and Happy Campers gave us invaluable assistance and peace of mind. Super great and knowledgeable staff. We leave our Belgian Malinois with them and he loves it there. Place is good for high energy working breed dogs but it’s a busy kennel so book early. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Was assured by owner that staff would respect and secure my home and they did not. Front door was left unlocked while walker was out with my dog and back door left unlocked and open when they left. Staff also forced my fearful dog into a harness before earning their trust, sent me a report photo of her looking extremely uncomfortable in my kitchen. I let them go after four days and would not recommend them to anyone
I have trusted the care of my furry friends to Janet and her team for 16 years now. They have been through a lot with me and my cat crew - saying hello to new furry faces and some goodbyes too. I realize as I begin to think about traveling again, that using Janet and Lucky Buddy to take care of Finn while I am away is critical to me feeling comfortable. When it comes to the pets who depend on me, I have a hard time assuming that "no news is good news", so I really love the daily photos and updates. The staff is really proactive about the pet's comfort, and I know I could count on Janet to do anything needed. That's really important to me when I am out of town and sometimes very far away.
I’ve been having Janet and her team care for my sweet dog Diamond for years. I enjoy the updates they give me via email each time they visit her and I’m away, along with a sweet photo of my dog. I can tell they are people who truly care for animals and I like when they bring attention to any concerns they’ve noticed with her. They have always been accommodating to the schedule that I have and I truly appreciate them.

Janet and her team are really in love with animals. I’ve petsat for friends and colleagues and the overall vibe from this small group of dedicated part-timers is an appreciation of your home and your animals’ comfort in it. They also are mindful of bro gong in packages/mail and watering plants, so bonus. Also, they include pictures and little fun reports on the pets’ “state of mind” Worth it every time.
