Lovely home and lovely pets! Communication was thorough and easy. The location is super convenient to everything in Hood River and the home is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Clyde is the BEST dog - so affectionate and loves people! He is easy to take for a walk and doesn't pull on the leash at all. We took him exploring and he seemed very happy to go places with us. (also great in the car) Bob is very affectionate as well and loves to go out and will let you know when he wants to come in. Steffany is more independent, but loves gentle petting and soft words. We would be happy to stay and take care of these sweet furbabies again anytime!
We had a great experience looking after Jackson the cat and Stephani's house. Jackson isn't a cuddler, but he's very cooperative, even when he's getting his drops or having his collar removed / put on. He warmed up to us and was a lot of fun to play with. Plus, he's a very handsome boy, which didn't hurt. Stephani's home is very comfy, organized, tidy, and clean, which we greatly appreciated and enjoyed. We love that Stephani has detailed instructions for her home and her plants, as well as for Jackson -- it took the guesswork out of what to do and when to do it. Everything was simple to do. And most importantly, Stephani is gracious, thoughtful, and kind. It was a pleasure and we would very happily do it again.
Debbie and Dustin were amazing to sit for. They hosted us the night before the stay so we had a chance to get to know them and they're such lovely people. Zillie is adorable and with her being 21 she's very chilled and easy to care for. The house is beautiful with a really lovely garden, and surrounded by countryside but still super easy to get into London with public transport. We can't wait to sit for them again in the future ✨
Had a wonderful time sitting for Shannon! Finnegan and Penny were so sweet and loved couch time cuddles. Home was in a quiet neighborhood and a quick/easy drive into downtown Seattle.
We had a lovely time with Pancakes and Jellybean. Cali's home is very large, clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Charlottesville is a great mid-size town. Many things to do and all very close to Cali's home (car needed). Don't miss Bad Luck Ramen, Cou Cou Rachou Bakery and Marie Bette Bakery. Pancakes warmed up to us immediately and Jellybean came around after 20 minutes. They are super sweet and love to sit in your lap. Certain noises activate Jellybean's "bark button". We were sad to say goodbye. The chickens were very easy to care for and it was very enjoyable to look for eggs each day.
