I had a wonderful time in Ivybridge, Devon looking after Tilly while Susan & Simon went on a cruise. They were excellent hosts, very well organised, provided all the required information and left local information for the stay, resulting in a stress-free, relaxing 3 weeks for me. Their house is a new build, a modern house with a beautiful view from the living room, which was very comfortable to the extent that I didn't want to go out. I did 3 times, to Padstow (Rick Stein country) in the beginning of my stay and Plymouth and Torquay in the final weekend, but for the rest of the time I stayed in the house together with Tilly. She was such a character and an easy cat to look after. Highly recommend this home and sweet cat!
Marcie and her husband were great to work with! They were very kind and accommodating about our scheduling, and were also very responsive. Their comfortable townhome is located in a quiet, dog friendly community with nice amenities which we were able to use, including a pool, fitness center, and attached garage. Almost every shopping, entertainment and dining option is close by, with San Diego beaches and oceanfront an easy 15 minute or so drive. And Saylor! Can't say enough about what an adorable little girl she is - affectionate (once she's comfortable), undemanding (just meet her basic needs), and very well-mannered. We loved getting to spend time with her!
Five stars all round for this sit! We were delighted to receive an invitation to stay at Paul and Cindy's - A thoroughly modern home, well appointed with stylish furnishings but also refreshingly dog friendly throughout. Their two dogs, Oscar and Maggie, were really good fun and a pleasure to look after. They bonded well with our YumYum and played musical chairs by day and beds at night with no complaints. They absolutely love a trip in the car and were so well behaved in the back seat, until arriving at our destination they could no longer contain their excitement- so best have harnesses and leads at the ready for a swift exit. :-) Cindy recommended some truly exceptional locations for us to explore along the Sandstone Trail. We have visited Cheshire previously and don't know how we missed these incredible spots like Bickerton Hill and the Peckforton estate, before taking in the views and refreshment at the popular Pheasant Inn. The nearby town of Whitchurch is a must for good food, having a quality butchers, bakers and Spanish cafe for tapas, cakes and coffee. A great antiques shop too! Thankyou Paul and Cindy for your kind generosity, for the opportunity and experience that we all really enjoyed !
I was really happy to be chosen for this sit. It was the perfect house sit. Ivan and Amelia's flat is in a very accessable part of London in E1, which is great for exploring East London and other touristy parts. Everything was very straight forward and both Evan and Amelia were available via text to happily answer any questions I had. Alice is the sweetness cat and absolutely no trouble at all, she is very independent and loves to explore the great outdoors, so overall a very relaxing and enjoyable sit with a cute cat companion. I couldn't recommend this house sit enough.
I had a wonderful time staying with Pearl! She's a total sweetheart who just wants to be with you. We had a great time at the dog park and exploring the neighborhood. Wendy was so welcoming and took the time to talk me through everything before the sit. I felt very comfortable staying with Pearl and hope I get to visit her again!

This is the best place to bring your dog when you’re going to the beach. The best part about this kennel is that they do daycare and when you’re boarding your dog there you can opt to have your dog included in the daycare session when they get to go and play with other dogs. But my favorite thing about this kennel is that for about an hour every morning they let you take your dog out of the kennel so your dog can go run around on the beach for an hour
Terrible and horrific for my dog. My very kind and people/dog friendly pooch was traumatized beyond words from this place. While waiting to get my dog I heard a young woman scream "SHUT UP!!!" To the animals confined in small cages. Also, an employee tightened my dogs collar to its tightest position. Grotesque and sick. If you care for your pet, find an alternative way to have it watched.
This is the third year we have used York Bark and Play. This time with two dogs. The staff have been super accommodating for our elderly dogs and always greeted us with a smile. If you never have been to York Beach, between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m. you are allowed to bring your dogs to the beach and let them run around and play. (caveat: this shouldn't need to be mentioned but I will anyway. You must clean up after your dogs). We did this for a few mornings then brought them back to YBP. I like that they publish photos and a video everyday on Facebook so you can see your dog interacting with other dogs during play time.
York Bark and Play is amazing. We have left our dog, a Samoyed, for a day all the way up to 2 weeks. I never worry about him when he is there. The staff does a wonderful job, the kennel is clean, and it is great seeing the pictures and videos they post. 100% recommend 👌 …
This is the second time we've boarded our big, babyish Lab at York Bark and Play, for a long weekend, and once again they've done an excellent job of providing love, attention and care to our boy. He comes home tired and happy, probably barely misses us! Any dog parents who worry about a boarding experience should feel confidant about getting away, with your dog being happy!
We love York Bark and Play! Our two pups have been going here a few days a week for five months now. They treat our dogs like they would treat their own. We boarded them for a night while we went to a wedding and I wasn't worried at all because I knew they were in good care. We would highly recommend!

We love this place, this is the 3rd time that our dog has gone to York Bark and Play. Our Doberman looks forward to going in the car now and he knows he will see all his friends. We have noticed that he is so well-behaved at home now, you can tell that they work with our dog and they do not ignore him at all. We highly recommend this place. Awesome staff! Thank you
Liz and the staff are professional and seem to treat the dogs in their care like their own. I believe they genuinely enjoy taking care of them. Our dog is always excited when we take him there and exhausted from all the fun when we pick him up. It is great to have a place that you can feel good about leaving your four legged family member. The facility is clean and updated with heated floors which also goes a long way in making us feel good about leaving our dog, especially in the winter. As a bonus, because of their resident hens, we can pick up a dozen fresh eggs when we go.
In reading some of the reviews posted by a disgruntled employee(s?), I feel compelled to post my experiences with Kara's Pet Care over the past 5 years. Kara and her team pay very close attention to detail and the care they provide has been without a doubt simply exceptional. I have used them for overnight services, personal dog training (1 on 1) with Kara as well as for dog walking/hiking. There have been times, with last minute notice (family emergency or stuck out of town) that they have provided care for our dog and always seem happy to help. The messages and photos that get sent through the Handlr app demonstrate their love of animals and you know that your pet is in wonderful hands. If there are issues accessing the house or finding supplies they do not hesitate to reach out, which I truly appreciate. There is another level of trust that you need to have when you give access to your pets, (who we consider family members) as well as to your home, to someone outside of your family. Just one example of the top notch care we have received over the years happened very recently. One particular day, one of the dog walkers learned of Bella's (our black lab) love of playing frisbee and went out and bought one for her while on their walk/hike. I could not have imagined such a business taking the time and great care to do something like that! When we hired Kara for training, we gained a lot of knowledge and help with some behaviors that our dog was exhibiting. She has a wonderful, happy and calm way about her that makes you and your pet feel at ease. We had questions about how to respond to certain dog behaviors and we found her solutions really helpful. I also, feel compelled to speak about her integrity and goodness. One shining example is that on her own accord and expense, she recently helped rescue a large group of abused dogs in a shelter in the south and brought them all back to be adopted. She personally took care of and found homes for them. This is truly a good person. You may pay a little bit more for the services at Kara's Pet Care but it is a great value. You simply cannot compare the integrity, reliability, responsiveness and professionalism of Kara's and her team! It is the best we have ever encountered. I LOVE Kara and her team! Kara only hires staff members who are super nice, very smart and who adore animals - like herself! After five minutes with Kara, you’ll know that she and her team of experts are the best people to take care of your furry (or feathered) family members! I cannot say enough positive things about Kara’s Pet Care!! Kara is a remarkable person with both a caring, intuitive nature and a wealth of medical knowledge. We have used her company for years and loved them but it wasn’t until tonight that I realized just how amazing a human she is and how lucky our family is to have her in our lives. I want you to picture this scene: we are getting ready to launch our first child to college. We are a hot mess of emotions and anxiety getting her all packed up. Right in the middle of the chaos our puppy got into something she shouldn’t. Panicked, inconsolable, I was sure she had gotten into something seriously harmful. Who did I call? Who was the first person that popped into my mind? Kara Dello Russo. Not only did she respond to my text in a calm, reassuring manner, she called me thirty seconds later. She spoke with me about what to do(in this case thankfully nothing)and researched further my concerns. This kind of treatment, like family, is priceless. We started using Wag Wagon the beginning of August. Tammi, our dog walker has been 100% reliable. She is extremely nice and a wealth of information. I was home one day when she arrived and our dog was so happy to see her. It’s as if he’s known her for a very long time. We are very pleased and would highly recommend her.
We have used Wag Wagon Pet Services many times since moving to Portsmouth. Tammi is dependable, caring and very passionate about dogs. She has a beautiful way with them, and they respond to her in kind. We recently went away for a 10 day trip and left her in the care of our 2 pugs in our home, was so nice to have the pups at home and she left our home neater than when we left. She also kept us informed about them every day. On her adventure day visits, my pups cannot wait to hop in her car and go. She is an amazing pack leader. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things Wag Wagon and Tammi, other than you need to try her for yourself and see, she is the "BeSt"…….
Tammi from Wag Wagon takes our 3 dogs out on adventure walks often, sometimes several times a week. They absolutely love her and they come back tired and happy. She has also stayed with them at our house overnight when we had to go out of town. Knowing they were in her good hands allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away. I would recommend the Wag Wagon to anyone who needs someone they can trust to help take care of their dogs.
We adopted a rescue puppy and, after only having her for 2 months, left her in Tammi Searle's care (of Wag Wagon Pet Services) for 7-days. She had been moved between several foster homes before finding her forever home with us so we were very nervous about how she would adjust. Well, there was absolutely no need to worry! When we returned, she was even better adjusted than when we left! Tammi took wonderful care of her - bringing her on daily adventure walks and trips to the beach. We received many updates throughout the week by text message and video as well as through Facebook. If that wasn't enough, Tammi picked her up at our home the day we left and brought her back home just an hour before our flight landed. I can't say enough about Tammi - she's fantastic and will provide your dog with tons of love and an extraordinary level of care.
It is difficult to add any more superlatives regarding Tammi's commitment and pure love for the pets she is entrusted to care for each day to this review. I echo all of the well deserved comments posted on Google about her. Our two pups are like our children and we feel lucky that Tammi had time to add them to her daily schedule over a year ago. Each day we look forward to her brief text about her visit and the action photo of our dogs playing on Facebook while we are at work. She's the best!
We love Wag Wagon Pet Services! I dont know what our family would do without Tammi Brown and the Wag Wagon. Tammi is professional, reliable, full of pet knowledge for those panic moments - and she really truly cares for each and every pet in her care. Homer loves his "adventures" where he romps with a pack of other dogs on the seacoast parks and beaches, he gets his exercise, a potty break, and to be a dog while we are at work! Tammi has gone above and beyond to show her commitment to our pup and our family, on more than one occasion when Homer had run away from home she came to the rescue within minutes with her own dogs to help lure him back. When it comes down to it, I trust Tammi with my dog more than I trust myself, I cant recommend her more highly!
Hi my name is Barney - I'm one of Miss Tammi's Wag Wagon dogs. I'm too young to have my own account so I have to use my mom's. I took a midnight train from Georgia up to Maine last year to live in my new home. I'm a shy guy who is a little scared of new things - Miss Tammi has been patient and kind with me. She has worked me down with her sweet talk, fun walks and yummy treats! I love my time with Miss Tammi and look forward to maybe doing some pack walks with her when my training is a little better. I started using Wag Wagon’s services for my goldendoodle just after she was in an accident and dislocated her left pelvis, around 1 year old. Tammi (the owner) was a huge part of my dog’s recovery. We started with individual walks and moved on to daily “adventures” with other dogs. Tammi has also kept my dog overnight at her house for the weekend. Tammi Keech has been an absolute godsend to our family since she started walking our Labradoodles! We work extremely long hours and our boys were sitting home with their paws crossed desperately needing to go out until we found the Wag Wagon! When the boys see Tammi pull into the driveway they get so excited because they know that it is time for adventure club! We have a hard time even saying her name in our house without them losing their minds in anticipation of their time with her.
