It was wonderful to spend winter in Alan and Sheena's home, enjoying fabulous views and the company of chilled-out Charlie and the two chickens who also befriended us. It was a great handover with everything well organised and explained and just as described. We had never done such a long sit and the attention to detail, and keeping in contact with us gave us complete confidence. I can thoroughly recommend the housesit and will be back in a flash. :)
Gwen, Teg and Ziggy are lovely cats, Teg was outside more but Gwen and Ziggy enjoyed the fuss. Sandra & Frank welcomed us to their home which is in a great location. The large conservatory is a great room to relax in and we enjoyed our stay in Appleby.
We adored these characters and their quirky kitty! Banjo is a sweet cat with particular cuddling habits that we grew quite fond of. Mary and Andy were very sweet and left us with great instructions for taking care of their house and for Banjo. Their home is just lovely and in a relatively quiet residential neighborhood. We'd happily sit for them again.
Michelle was a great host, very responsive, generous and kind. She clearly loves cats as much as I do. Her little senior, Gilligan, instantly won my heart with his big meows and even bigger personality! Jinx was a total sweetie who loved to play and get pets. Toad, Avery and Big Boy, the backyard crew, was super fun, too. I got really excited when Toad started eating out of my hand. During my stay, a talkative squirrel and even a possum showed up on the patio! I enjoyed taking care of the feral cats a lot. They really solidified how much I want to make a difference for homeless pets. Michelle’s home was clean and comfortable with all the amenities and a beautiful backyard with trees. It was a great stay!
Thanks Mary and Paul! Dog sitting for you guys was a pleasure. Leslie, Holly and Axel were very friendly and easy going. We enjoyed relaxing on the couch with them snoozing next to us. Yer home is gorgeous and super comfortable and in a great location not far from the beach. Would love to come back again ☺️
I had a great time at Louise and Nick’s with their lovely Dachsunds, Olive and Ethel, who were great company. The house is very comfortable and in a nice area with lots of enjoyable walks and a good pub just a short walk away. Louise and Nick made sure i had all the info i needed for a stress free housesit 😀.
