What a lovely sit! Tony and Karen invited us for supper and to stay the night before the start of the sit - it was really great to get to know them a little and to share an excellent meal. Thank you. Tony also made time to give us a quick tour of some of the local points of interest, which proved very useful. The house is very comfortable, and Tony and Karen clearly wanted to be sure that we had everything we would need - including drawer space, wardrobe space, cupboard/fridge/freezer space. They also had detailed notes for us of where things were and how they worked: they had thought of everything. The location is great - we loved our walks on the common, as well as the access to a really beautiful area. And, of course, Lexy. The beautiful Lexy. Understandably, she was a bit cautious of these new people coming into her home while her humans were away, and initially she stayed around or near us but at a little distance- but by taking the time to fuss her, when she was happy to be fussed, and not crowding her, she seemed to accept us. Lovely! We knew she felt comfortable with us when she came in one morning to remind us it was time for breakfast, and jumped onto the bed for some fuss. At the end of the sit she was watching us closely as we packed and cleaned, knowing something was up- we'll miss her too. Thanks for a great sit.
I had such a lovely time in Mayfield, Hetty’s house is so beautiful and the surrounding landscape incredibly peaceful and nourishing to wander around. Tigs is a super chilled and affectionate cat and very easy to care for, I can’t recommend highly enough!
I had a wonderful time looking after the beautiful soft Sky. Camilla is a very caring , wonderful , easy-going and generous person , she sent me presents for Christmas 🎄 ! ❤️ We had good communication. Her flat is amazing , with a very nice and big living room with Smart TV, instruments 🎸, terrace and a comfy big size room , kitchen , bath with 🛀 etc. It is located in a very trendy and safe area Belsize Park, 5’ to the beautiful Hampstead Heath and 15’ -20’ to Kentish Town / Camden , with brilliant lively pubs, shops , organic ones , supermarkets , M&S , Sainsbury’s gym, Lidl… Sky is a very easy going cat, she is indoors and low maintenance. She loves cuddles . I highly recommend this sit . All the best, Alba
I had a lovely sit in Paphos. Jenny and Martin were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The house is comfortable with everything you could need and in a lovely area with very friendly neighbours. Bella was an absolute pleasure to look after. She loves her walks and will "remind" you if it's getting a bit late and you haven't been out yet. She was very happy to go out in the car at any opportunity but equally happy to just relax at home. I would highly recommend this sit.
We really loved this sit. Findus and Aaron are the sweetest, most chilled cats. Aaron was initially the shy one but he really warmed up to us and would come for attention and to be petted and brushed (he absolutely loves being brushed…I really enjoyed this). Findus tended to be a bit more independent but also loved attention although he didn’t enjoy being brushed so much. They are very quiet cats and although they slept in the room with us (mostly under the bed), we slept really well. They were very easy to care for. Jonas is a really sweet guy who made sure we were comfortable in his home. And we were; his place is wonderful. We would love to come back again. Thank you, Jonas!
Susie is a thoughtful, caring and generous host. Her home is comfortable; beautifully decorated with a western, horse theme. It's fastidiously organized and meticulously clean. The backyard is gorgeous –- with an excellent landscape design –- a huge sliding glass door opens to a covered porch. The neighbors are super friendly; many people stopped to chat when I was out walking. Wally was a little old man with a pleasant disposition. He could be fickle about walking and eating – there was no exact pattern. He's deaf and typically would only see what's in front of him. He slept a lot, but was also prone to wandering the house. Sometimes I would physically encourage him to go outside. Often I would carry him to the wall in the backyard, and let him find his own way back across the grass. He liked to be hand-fed and petted on the underside of his neck. Although he appeared to have control of his bodily functions, there were accidents in the house. Susie had the proper products for clean up, and enough belly bands to hand-wash, dry and reuse. Bitsy is more curious than friendly. She drinks a decent amount of water; enjoys chasing the laser pointer, and being petted one hand at a time. She has a crooked tail, and does not enjoy being picked up. For me, she wasn't a lap cat. But, when Susie came back... lo and behold, itsy Bitsy was a lap cat for her.
