We love how zeewoi opens doors to both sitters and pet owners. We had a rather sudden need for a sitter, and it turns out, Angela was hoping for a retreat space. Angela is a lovely person, engaging, thoughtful, and very attuned to Tucker's daily needs. She was very affectionate with Tucker, and since she works from "home," (or in this case, our home), she ensured he felt loved and cared for while we were away. She even took him on his favorite walks! She was conscientious and connected with us immediately when a long walk irritated an injury and left him limping. She was respectful of our home, and immediately responsive of any requests we had. We in return were happy to be able to offer her a peaceful, restful retreat space. Her sitting for us was a win- win - win! We definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a quiet, thoughtful and reliable sitter.
Stacey did a great job tending to our kitties while we were away for almost 2 weeks. She left our home clean and tidy, and she kept in touch sending us pics of the kitties. We would have her sit again.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Scout and Ollie and staying for a few days at Samantha’s lovely apartment. Scout and Ollie are both friendly, easygoing cats, with Scout being a young, energetic, beautiful Maine Coon who likes to chase toys, and Scout being a sedentary, affectionate, golden-colored tabby. Samantha provided some extras to make the sit comfortable, such as slippers and snacks. Her apartment is a spacious, light-filled one in a very new building where I enjoyed using the fitness center and the walkable coffeeshop and supermarket. Boulder with all its amenities is an easy fifteen minutes’ drive away. There were a few things that might be communicated more clearly from beforehand, such as regarding cat-feeding and the thermostat, but Samantha answered texts helpfully, so these were soon resolved. She was a friendly person to interact with. I would recommend this sit and do it again.
We had such a lovely stay with Betsy and Beau in Tunbridge Wells. Nellie and Harry were more than accommodating and the house was tidy and well kept. Betsy and Beau took a short time to warm to us but before we knew it we had 2 cuddle buddies that were great companions over the week! We went on nice walks, had coffee dates out with them and we also went on a nice weekend adventure to Knowles park! They were very well behaved! Beau does bark at dogs at dogs that are bigger than him but settled quickly and Betsy wasn’t super fond of the car but was fine after a short while! We absolutely loved Tunbridge Wells and would highly recommend sitting for this lovely couple and their pets!
It was a pleasure housesitting for Christine. She provided a thorough handover and was very helpful and considerate, including letting me stay the night before she went away to avoid a very early start on my behalf. Her home was very comfortable and well equipped, very handy to explore the city. Christine kept in touch during my stay so I was secure in the knowledge that she would be able to respond to any questions I had.
My experience with Ruth and Leon was absolutely the best! Ruth was super hospitable, I'm so glad we had a chance to meet and chat about books, Bristol and life abroad! Leon is a foodie and enjoys being outside - two things we definitely have in common :) So we had a good time together, just chilling in the super cozy and atmospheric house and the garden. I also enjoyed some hiking in the nearby woods, which was so relaxing! It's easy to get to the city center by bus (20 min) and Ruth, thanks a lot for recommending to visit Clifton village, I absolutely loved it! I had a wonderful sit at Tor and Jurate beautiful home on the water. Loke and Freya will be missed. I loved waking up to Freya entire body wagging as she greeted me each morning. Loke was much more laid back, a gentle giant. They were so well trained. Feeding was amazing to see their routine. Watching them was such a pleasure especially running around the yard wrestling. I enjoyed the pool and watching the yachts go by. The home is so well equipped, there is nothing missing. I enjoyed cooking in your kitchen to binge watching some shows on HBO. I would encourage anyone to sit at your lovely home with your awesome dogs.
