Milly took really good care of Roxy and sent the cutest pictures and videos! She also left detailed updates when I returned - my house was clean and Roxy was happy and healthy! A great experience!

First off, so sorry this is so belated! We sat for Sarah and Brian (and Gummo and Miss Kitty) in October. I left a full review/feedback after the sit, but somehow it did not get posted and I didn't realize this until Sarah contacted me at some point to remind me. Our intention was to have this review/feedback posted immediately after the sit, and I feel so bad. Then we had some very tough family events happen starting in November and so this is the first opportunity I have had to post. At any rate...

This sit was wonderful! It was our introduction to French housesitting and it certainly did not disappoint. The house and grounds were beautiful, situated in a quiet locale on the edge of Bergerac, just a 2-minute electric bike ride from vineyards and with a beautiful spacious backyard complete with hammock and veggie garden. It was so peaceful to spend time outside there, and eat at the nice table outside on the patio. The house was cozy and wonderful for our stay.

As for the furry ones, Gummo and Miss Kitty were undeniably cute and sweet. They were a bit shy at first but warmed up to us and they definitely loved their treats! We fell for them and Sarah and Brian were so hospitable to us. They let us use their electric bikes to ride around the vineyards and to town, told us about great bakeries and shops. They also left us plentiful information about the local countryside and attractions and lots of great tips on things to see and do while in the area. There is a huge amount to see in this region, and it is not far from the Dordogne and Bordeaux. We were so lucky and happy to have been able to sit for them. Thank you!

Damsel and Olive were a delight to look after in Kate and Ben’s lovely home. We had a lovely time in Overton and went on some beautiful walks. Kate was very welcoming and helpful - we would definitely come back!

Debra
Rosie is a lovely, dynamic and friendly dog. She likes playing and She is just a little exciting during walks when we met other people or dogs. Debra and Chris are very kind and warm and their house is very comfortable. Fredericton is a nice town and people are cordial. We had a very good time.

Who wouldn't want to go to Snoqualmie? One of the most lovely and idyllic settings I've ever been to. Carien's home and exterior space was serene and so inviting. Truly a special retreat.

Cleo the cat was both independent and affectionate...perfect combo. She loves her outside time during daylight hours and faithfully returns within her window of safety. Very unique girl with interesting facial markings. I enjoyed hanging out with her.

Carien is extremely kind and relaxed...easygoing. She was accommodating and gave gracious hospitality. It's an honor to support her and her lovely family. I would strongly encourage anyone desiring to travel this part of the country to consider this assignment as a set-apart opportunity.

What a perfect first house/pet sit experience. Deigo was kind, communicative, and so easy to work with! Kodi was just 95lbs of gentle fur love. I miss him already. I was so grateful Diego allowed me to take Kodi to visit my mom who has dementia and petting him just made her day. Great little studio in fun location in Omaha. Mix of old and new and great area to walk Kodi. Hoping to watch my new buddy again soon!

This is the best sit I’ve had, Nany is a very special cat! She is so gentle, affectionate and loving, I will miss her and her little yoga stretches 🥹💕

Iveta is also a great host, her apartment is good vibes and in a perfect location. She was very easy to speak to and communicated throughout the sit answering any questions I had.

All in all a great sit, I would happily sit for Nany again and really enjoyed my time with her ✨
