My puppy Maisey has been going to daycare and doing some training at Liberty Bark. They take great care of her and her confidence around other dogs is getting better. I highly recommend this place! I love to see the photos they send of her with their pupdates! The staff is friendly and answers my questions. I really like their trainer Benny! The owner is really kind too. Maisey will continue to go here! The only thing I don't like is the red dirt they use. My dog is mostly white and comes home so stained. 🙃
Specter had such a good time here. He made so many friends specifically an Irish wolfhound and a bully breed looking dog along with a reddish dog. I was in Utah for national guard training I am very happy with them and the fact my dog had an amazing time
Fantastic day care and boarding! One of the best we’ve ever used. We moved our dogs from City Pet Club after our lab was bitten and they could not explain how or why, refused to talk to us regarding the possibility of a refund or paying at least part of the vet bill and literally did not return our calls. Night and day difference. Liberty Bark keeps you updated with photos, communicates with texts, and (most importantly) love the dogs as if they are their own. The structured day care is amazing and the option to have them trained while there during the day is amazingly affordable and so helpful. Love them!
I’ve boarded my dog here four times over the past 10 months. Twice were weekend trips and twice were 5+ days. She requires extra care as she can show reactivity with people and other dogs. The staff shows expertise in handling tricky dogs. They send daily photos included in the cost of boarding. They provide detailed progress reports if you pay the extra fee for them as well. My dog gets the opportunity to socialize in a safe environment and she comes back to me happy and tired. I so appreciate the care the staff provides for me to have peace of mind while out of town.
What an amazing place with amazing staff! We were having trouble finding a place to board our boxers for vacation (our sweet girl is not always so sociable with other dogs) and they graciously took them with no fuss. We got regular updates on their progress, and prompt communication about even the most minor issues that came up. We could tell when we picked them up that they were not starved for love or attention! We will definitely be taking them back for training and socialization!
Liberty Bark is without a doubt the best dog hotel I’ve ever taken my dog to! For nearly 3 years I struggled bringing my 100+ lb pitbull-mix around other dogs and would have to have him isolated from other dogs while at dog hotels when I left town. I decided to give Liberty bark a try and they have worked with him, helping him so much with his reactivity to other dogs and leash pulling. They know what they are doing and I can’t thank them enough for taking such amazing care my dog! I highly recommend them for overnight stays, daycare and training, especially if you have a dog who needs some extra attention / work.
I cannot recommend Liberty Bark enough! The staff there are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I have a 5 month old labradoodle pup who is tons of energy and in the process of learning good manners. They are all extremely patient with her. They also seem to care about her and the other dogs as if they are their own! I feel great dropping Scout off while I work during the week. I always get updates and pictures which is the highlight of my day! Thanks Liberty Bark! Yall rock.
I recently started using Liberty Bark for doggy daycare. It has been such a great experience for me and my dog. The staff are super awesome and caring. I love the pawgress reports and report cards. I have used other dog sitters in the Salt Lake area and non have been this great.
I’ve been terribly disappointed with Liberty Bark. They do not have cameras which is not inherently wrong, but they lack transparency, never inviting clients into the facility. You drop your dog off at the door. On several occasions, I was unable to reach someone via phone call (during business hours) while my dog was in their care. I was forced to use a text system, and no one would speak to me. Once was after they shared a photo of my dog where she was foaming at the mouth, and I called to check on her. I paid extra for report cards and received one photo each day without notes about how she was doing. Most notably, my dog hunkers to the ground and refuses to go inside without being carried. She is clearly fearful. When I’ve used other daycare and boarding services, she is excited to go in and never scared. Something feels very off about this facility, and I do not recommend it.
My very wonderful very covid puppy was given time to spend at Liberty Bark to mentally prep for a 9 day boarding experience. The amazing owner Liz and i came up with a plan that would help acclimate him to the experience. He feel in love with Liberty bark after the first minute. Now we have to spell it out to to avoid all the happy tippy taps. I get daily pup dates and live for every single one. He is learning good dog pack behaviors and when your baby is 100 pounds he needs to learn these skills. Could not speak higher even if i tried. They are all so wonderful.
My dog Thor and cat LC (Cuddles) love the folks at Sugar House Pets. Thor has been doing training with Tabitha and is a whole new dog, and LC just appreciates knowing she’s special. I had to be gone for almost two weeks and was worried about leaving them and SHP made the whole thing feel much less stressful. I love that they send several pictures and a little update with each visit. It goes a long way to ease one’s mind! Highly recommend them!!
Sugarhouse pets was a lifesaver for me and my dog during my work contract in Salt Lake. They took my pup out for a walk and potty, administered her medications, and gave her all the pets and love. They update you on the visit and send the cutest pictures as well. I am so thankful sugarhouse pets was able to help me and my dog while I was at work.
I have used Sugarhouse Pets to walk my dog and they have been exceptional! Kiana and Tabitha are punctual, text when they arrive to pick up and drop off my dog. They also give a detailed map and description of the walk with great photos. My dog returns happy and tired. I highly recommend their services!
Can always trust everyone at sugar house pets with our two kitties! They are so attentive and quick to respond if anything at comes up. Highly recommend them! 💛 …
I have been so pleased with everyone at Sugar House Pets. They've been an absolute lifesaver taking my dog out for walks on my long work days. They are incredibly responsive and trustworthy, and always send the cutest updates with pictures. It's super easy to book services on their website too.
We recently had the pleasure of using Sugar House Pets to take care of our dog, two cats, and fish during a 5-day trip, and we couldn't be happier with the service! From start to finish, they were professional, reliable, and incredibly attentive to the needs of our pets. Three Visits a Day: They came to our home three times a day, ensuring that our pets were well taken care of and never felt lonely. This consistency was very comforting to us while we were away. Daily Updates: Every visit was documented with pictures and detailed messages. It was such a joy to receive daily updates and see how happy and well-cared-for our pets were. The detailed messages included information about their behavior, eating habits, and any other observations, which showed the high level of attention and care they provided. Peace of Mind: Knowing that Sugar House Pets was taking care of our beloved pets allowed us to fully enjoy our trip without any worries. Their dedication and love for animals truly shine through in their service. We highly recommend Sugar House Pets to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. They went above and beyond to make sure our pets were happy and healthy, and we will definitely be using their services again in the future! Thank you, Sugar House Pets, for your outstanding service!
Sugarhouse Pets recently cared for my two dogs and cat for two days while I was out of town. I was pretty anxious about leaving my dogs for the first time home alone, but having the meet and greet beforehand, receiving the detailed updates about how they were doing, and what their visits were like made me feel so much better. All of the pictures I received while I was gone reassured me that my dogs were having a good time and were being well taken care of. I was expecting my dogs to be anxious when I came home due to the change in their routine, but they were just tired from playing with the sitters and happy to see me. I am super happy with the experience and Sugarhouse Pets will definitely be my go-to in the future!
I had Sugar House Pets take care of my cat when I went on a two-week vacation out of the country. They were very responsible to be there daily. They were great about following the instructions I left for my cat. They kept me notified with daily text as to what was happening with my cat. My cat is shy and won’t go to anyone. They made an effort to find her in the house and send me a pic of her every day, so I knew she’s was fine. That made me feel very good about her care. They were also very responsible with the security of my home. I recommend them to anyone who needs pet care. I will use them again. It’s a good feeling to know your pet is in good hands when your out of town.
I'm very picky on who I trust to take care of my Newfie Tate but Sugar House Pets has been amazing with him! They are skilled, responsive to questions, always on time, and keep me updated on everything that happens when it comes to taking care of my dog. I highly recommend!
They have been incredibly flexible and caring when it comes to taking care of my dog. Scheduling is easy. The team is reliable. Very thankful to have Sugar House Pets around to help out with my chaotic schedule.
Doggy's Big Day has been hiking my dogs for about 5 years now and they have been integral in their well being. They come and pick them up and drop them off so I never have to worry about coordination. All of their hikers are great and lovely with my Jolene and Lucy. This is made apparent by how absolutely thrilled they are to see every single one of them! The dogs come back tired and ready for a nice nap. I work from home so it gives me peace of mind knowing they are exercised and I keep continue to work. One other major bonus is that my dogs have always been very socialized with Linda's crew. They continually meet new dogs and practice good manners and boundaries. They do have a nice user-friendly app that allows me to inform the team of any changes to the regular schedule. They send photos after each hike which always shows how much FUN they are having! I am also very excited about their new offering - meet ups. It will be fun to meet the parents of the other dogs we see on their hiking photos. Thanks Linda, Rebecca, and team for being such an important aspect of my dogs life!
I've been a devoted customer of Doggy’s Big Day for 10+ years, and they have consistently delivered exceptional care for all of my dogs. This dog walking company is more than just a service provider; they've become an integral part of my pets' extended family. Their reliability is unmatched. Regardless of the weather or my ever-changing schedule, their team has always been there to ensure my dog(s) get the exercise and attention they need. It's this unwavering commitment that has kept me coming back year after year. What truly sets Linda and her team apart is the genuine love and care they exhibit towards every furry friend. Each dog is treated with individualized attention, and the walkers take the time to understand their unique personalities and preferences. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking a dog walking company that goes above and beyond in ensuring the well-being of your furry companions. Here's to many more years of exceptional service! 🐾✨
We are SO happy with both the training given to our Golden doodle as a new puppy and more recently, the dogsitting provided by Doggy's Big Day. We tried several alternative sitters or kennels but Kora has superceded all our expectations in providing love, safety and exercise for our now 5 year old fur-child. We KNOW our doggy is happy while we're away and that means WE'RE HAPPY. I give Doggy's Big Day 5 STARS !
I have been having Doggys Big Day take my dogs for weekly hikes since 2017. Linda has been so great with my dogs King and Jezebel. I have been out with my dogs and happen to run into Linda, my dogs will not leave her side. I have peace of mind that they are safe and carefully watched over and they have a fantastic time
I LOVE Doggies Big Day and so does my Buddy(the dog). Buddy is always patiently waiting to go on hike days and comes home exhausted. Linda and her team are a perfect fit for Buddy and us. We recommend them time and time again
We used Doggy's Big Day for the first time this past week and I am so impressed!! They were so easy to sign up with and instruct on what we need while we were out of town. They are true professionals, and I never once felt nervous or wondered if my dog was in safe hands. Thank you, Linda & team!
Doggy's Big Day is SLC's best kept secret. My dog loves hiking with this group and he is always tired out when he comes home. I used this service when I lived in SLC and now when traveling to SLC. The Hike Leaders come to my hotel and pick up my pup. take him out for a 1.5-2.0 hour hike/play session and then bring him back all for a very reasonable price. They go rain, snow or shine. They are very careful with the dogs and make sure all dogs are safe at all times. I cant wait to return to SLC and use this great service again!
This service is so perfect! Linda and her team make my puppies day. They are timely and have amazing communication. They also send photos after each outing that make me smile!
I've used Doggy's Big Day a few times when I've been out of town to check in while the friend/relative staying with my pups is at work or to stay at my house overnight. They do an exceptional dog of taking care of my special needs dogs, including one with a spinal injury who wears diapers. Most recently, we had Dot come and hang with them for an hour each day while we were out of town for a week. Dot is amazing! She was very attentive to our instructions and looked out for our house and dogs. I loved her visit updates and photos each day. I’d absolutely recommend Dot and Doggy's Big Day!
Doggy's Big Day has been part of our life for years! We love them. Linda always took great care of our little poodle and when our grandpup came to live with us, Doggy's Big Day has taken her hiking twice weekly. She is a beagle border mix with high energy and a desire to herd. She loves hiking and playing with all her friends. Linda has been great to accommodate our granddog. She was a rescue and had so many fears. Linda and her team have been patient and loving and our granddog is now confident and is even going in the water! Water was one of her biggest fears. Linda has worked with her so much. Thank you to Doggy's Big Day for all you do for us!
My pug loves going to daycare here. The ladies are always excited to see him and he rushes to greet them. I love that you can check the camera (subscription from app store) and see them playing and keeping the play area clean. They've helped me when he needed ear drops and nail trims, and they track his vaccines for me. The building is older but it hasn't been a problem for me. They have outdoor fenced areas as well as the playrooms and naptime kennels, it's the best way for my dog to get exercise in bad weather.
Had to take my new boy for one day while some stuff was being done in my apartment. I didn't want him to have to deal with strangers coming in and out of his new home. He instead got a great playdate. Was very tired and happy when I picked him up. Everyone was so nice to me and my new boy,♥️
My dogs been there over a month due to living conditions. They've been kind and helpful in housing home. Hope to get him soon.
With my health problems it’s tough to be separated from my cat Mama but I can sleep easy getting my care at the hospital knowing full well my girl is being taken care of in the arms of Brickyard Kennel. They provide care, love and time with each of their animals. I’ve seen it firsthand. I’m bad with names but the entire staff is so great.
Booked a day of daycare to try out before boarding our dog and I'm really glad I did. We won't return. Don't let the nice website fool you. Made the appt on the phone and was told I'd get an email confirmation with a link to the portal- never happened. At drop off I was told that to be at daycare she needed the influenza vaccine (would've been nice to know ahead of time) but don't worry, we can do it here (eye roll, really had me right where they wanted me). Staff was nowhere to be found when I came to pick up. Five minutes in the lobby before the staff came out, didn't greet me or say anything about me having to wait. I had to ask how my dog did and the response clearly communicated that they didn't pay much attention at all.
We bring our blind husky here, and although we were nervous because of his disability, the staff was accommodating and incredibly kind. He loves coming to daycare, and he attends all day twice a week. The employees love our dog, and we appreciate that this makes us stay up to date on his vaccinations. I would absolutely recommend bringing your animal here.
First time boarding my dog. I was a little nervous because he has animal aggression issues. They did so good with Beige and understanding. We will use them again for sure.
Didn't like visiting my dog in a dirty room with a dirty mop bucket where he could of drank out of it. Never received my deposit nor his dog leash.
These guys saved our lives. We had a dog for a week and she ran into some medical issues that made it impossible for her to travel with us. Brickyard was the ONLY place that we could find that could take her in her condition. She was there for 3.5 days and when we got back from our trip she was as good as new. They had given her more than we asked for and nursed our puppy back to health. I would take her there again in a second!! I picked my dog up freshly bathed and happy as could be! I called a couple of times during our trip and they gave great feedback on how our dog was doing. We will be forever grateful! Can't say thanks enough!! Rate was awesome, staff was excellent! Thank you thank you!!
Luckily I was able to get my 2 dogs in here last minute. I was headed out of town over the weekend and my usual place was fully booked. I was able to get in here. Its out of the way for me, and would come back if I ever needed to. My 2 border collies came out clean and seemed happy. I was a little under nervous about leaving them in a new place. I only subtracted 1 star for the condition of the facility. I went into the back area with my little dog because she is very nervous and there was a strong smell of urine. Most of the back area seemed to be mostly brick walls with chain link fences from what I could see. Overall happy I was able to get them into a place where they were well taken care of. The pricing was fair in my opinion considering I normally board my dogs in Park City. I would be back if I didnt live in Summit Co.
6/5 stars holy cow this place was great. We took our two dogs, a golden retriever and a labradoodle. The checkin was smooth and the two ladies working were really nice. The paperwork was minimal and the rules were easy to follow. The BEST part— during orientation they went into the pool with our kiddos and swam with them! They were SO great at getting our shy labradoodle to swim. By the end of orientation they were ready to go back in the pool. Love this place and how it is an affordable treat for my dogs to come here. Had a really good time and the staff were perfect. There is a ramp up to the pool if you are disabled. It’s a little steep but it has grippy carpet on it so you could likely get a wheelchair up which is great. Love this place!
Barley’s was my dog’s happy place. He loved the swimming pool and was totally spoiled by staff every time he came in. The facility is made for dogs of all ages. Being able to swim there as an elder dog made his golden years pure magic. The staff genuinely love dogs and will make efforts to know and love yours. Haley, Carrie, Becca, Angela and the entire staff will forever have our gratitude for how they treated our dog. Thank you all for everything!
If my dog had to choose a life that either had steak dinners, box of infinite bully sticks, daily sessions of uninterrupted attention full of praise and scritches - or - swimming at Barley’s… she would choose Barley’s every time. I’ve truly never seen her happier than when she’s here! The pool is amazing and well maintained. They have a ton of toys too. And both going privately or with other dogs is a blast. All the other owners have been so pleasant and it’s just a wonderful experience. What makes it really special is their team. They are absolute dog lovers and passionate about their work. My dog has some peculiar behavior that they are so accommodating. They are so so welcoming & kind. DogMode has a really nice pool, but it’s $35 each session. Barley’s has versatile options where you can save money or have privacy. And most importantly they have an unlimited monthly pass, so you can save sooo much money if you’re a frequent swimmer. I can’t recommend this place enough!!
Our dog is very nervous in new situations but the staff was amazing at helping him be comfortable. It's great there is a reserved swimming option for dogs who may not want to be near other dogs as well. We're looking forward to bringing him swimming again, and hopefully have him go regularly!
We brought our dog here to introduce him to the water and see if we could have a fun summer exercise... Long story short, we pretty much have to wrestle him out the door when it's time to go! He loves it and everyone he interacts with
I cannot recommend Barley’s enough! Both their daycare service and swim experiences are exceptional. I think what makes Barley’s stand out is their staff - they are responsive, professional, and (most importantly) dog lovers. I know that when I drop off my dog she is very well taken care of. Barley’s very quickly became my dog’s favorite place!
This place is so amazing. Our dogs live for the pool and have the best time every time. The owners are wonderful people and the prices are affordable. Plus it’s heated and indoors so it’s the perfect place to take your pups during the winter! Highly highly recommend. Best kept pet secret in SLC!
The staff and facilities are top notch. They helped both of my dogs become comfortable with swimming, which I was unable to do myself. Every week my dogs get excited to go to daycare, and I love the pictures I receive, stories I get when I pick them up, and even advice and training tips the staff share. Bring your pups here - they will love it!
The best place for your fur baby can swim. The facility was very clean and nicely maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful! Barley’s facility isn’t just a dog pool and daycare. It’s a wonderful, safe and friendly place to let our little Yorkie feel like a kid for a little while. I cannot recommend Barley’s enough. Can’t wait to come back again.
So much fun! It was our pups first time coming and they treated him awesome. We were grateful to be the only ones during his orientation but he did great seeing other dogs playing too as they drifted in. You do have to be careful around the edges so your pup doesn't fall in but they have complementary life jackets and the ramp to help keep them safe. It is a small ramp and it's hard to keep your dog from being a ramp hog but with time and exposure I'm sure it helps. The pool is long enough for long distance tosses so your pup gets a good workout. They have a great bathing/rinse station with an awesome blow dryer. My only issue was the potty areas. My dog refuses to potty on fake turf and the "grass patches" are a bunch of weeds with lots of dirt, so if your pup is like mine, you'll have to rinse them off quite a bit as the facility requires potty breaks every 15 mins to keep the pool clean.
My dog has been going to bow wow for about 2 years. We have never had any problems with them until recently. At check out we had issues with being overcharged and our deposit not being counted towards the total even after asking. There were extra holiday charges that were not disclosed of beforehand as well. When our dog came out he had a big bloody scratch under his eye. When we asked what happened they didn’t have an explanation and just said he got into a fight with another dog and they could clean it up only if we wanted. Our dog is not aggressive at all and has not once instigated a fight so this was most definitely another aggressive dogs doing. The whole week after we picked him up he hasn’t been himself. He’s been sad and every time someone goes to pet him he flinches. This makes me wonder what happened behind closed doors with my dog. We will definitely not be going back here.
Great customer service, and really took the time to learn about my two dogs, making me feel super comfortable about the care and attention they are receiving. It can be stressful when you leave the four legged family members behind for a trip - and I know they will be loved and cared for well. Thank you! Great staff, great location, clean and inviting with lots of fun activities to keep my pups happy!
We love Camp Bow Wow so much! My girls are wiggly with excitement the second we pull into the parking lot. I appreciate that they take the time to fill out and send home a ‘report card’ after boarding. Staff is so kind, communicative, and accommodating. Easily Toast and Bean’s favorite daycare and boarding place in SLC!
I love this place when it's dry, but when it's wet? Nope! Don't do it! My dog comes home with a muddied lower half smelling of feces, urine, and sanitizer every single time there is rain or snow. I bring him to Camp Bow Wow to keep him safe and give him something to do while I'm at work. Based on how he is given back, I can definitely say you've failed. I have already addressed this issue with the manager and she thoroughly downplayed and brushed it off as something that happens minimally sometimes to the dog's paws. See included pics. No, you have a larger problem in your environment; I recommend fixing your environment. I also wonder how the health department sees this as it seems like this is at best a biological hazard. Take my advice if you don't want your dog wallowing in the feces and urine and presumably whatever chemical is used to neutralize these at this location, don't go here.
I joined a friend of mine whose dog was doing an 18-day training/boarding program. I was super impressed with the training and the facility. The dogs all seemed happy, and I got to see the training methods in action. They clearly know what they're doing and how passionate they are. I would absolutely bring my next dog here for boarding/training.
I took my brand new pup here just after I got him, and Rachel was amazing with him! He was so nervous at first but he warmed up so fast and now everyone knows his name, he absolutely LOVES going and he’s always so tired afterwards 😂 this month he is camper of the month!! We’ve also done training, boarding and gotten baths here- all are spectacular services! Aubrey the trainer is great too!!
My two dogs went for there interview day, and were worn out when they got home. My big dog was a little shy, but I loved seeing him in the corner in the live video trying to socialize. My little dog however loved the whole thing each time I pulled her up on the live feed she was in someone’s lap or playing with the other dogs, she just played her butt out! They are excited to come back.
They always gave me exceptional service and made sure things where taken care of. One worker especially, although not working anymore, has been super helpful and always made sure I had the best experience. I think her name was Sydney. Im sure going to miss the amazing energy she brought to the place. Overall amazing place!
We brought our 2 dogs Isla and Fin in for a trial play day. Staff communication with us before and after was great. We checked in on our pups vis their web cam and we're very pleased with what we saw, both pups very happy afterwards. 5 stars!
The staff are very friendly and they already know my fur baby by name! They tell me what she did while at camp. My fur baby was terrified to go to the first few days and now she doesn’t even look back! Which tells me she is having a BLAST! Thanks Camp Bow Bow for watching my fur baby and giving her time for socializing when I can’t! I also love that Camp Bow Wow offers the cutest activities!
We love Little Dogs! They took great care of our Coco for 13 years. We never worried about her while we were away, because we knew she was being cared for as if she was their own.
I am so so thrilled to have found Little Dogs Resort. I stumbled upon them during a boarding crisis after a Rover failed us - we were already out of town and they graciously walked me through all the registration over the phone. My Pom is normally anxious but really seems to enjoy his stays with them, thanks to their attentive and knowledgeable staff! We love the photo updates during his stays, as well. I've worked with Ava Veater, Jacob Stone, and Katie Johnson, all of whom are kind, quick to respond to any requests or questions, and make booking new stays a breeze. I highly recommend this team and their services!
This is the best place for our dogs. They are so attractive and take great care of our dogs. They make dog ownership so much easier. Teresa Burton
They always take great care of our dogs, we leave our two little dogs there, we bought a membership as we travel often. Each time we are gone they send photo's daily, the dogs are well fed, they sleep in their own beds that we bring for them. The staff is friendly and responsive. But what matters most is our dogs come home just as we left them, there has never been an issue with safety or illness, there has never been the slightest bit of concern. I would advise you to bring your dogs here without hesitation.
We absolutely LOVE Little Dogs Resort! We have used Little Dogs' daycare enrichment program (comes w/ a daily report card 🙂) as well as their overnight boarding services and we couldn't be happier. They even do special holiday parties for the pups! Everyone is so friendly and we and our pup are always greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. It gives us such peace of mind to know that we have a safe place filled with loving people to leave our girl when we can't be with her.
We love this place! My dog April loves going here. We had to slow down since having a child but we still drop her off on occasion. We know she is always well taken care of and the owner is amazing!
Little Dogs takes the health, safety and well-being of the dogs very seriously. Im glad that recent one star review was posted because it shows how seriously we take our policies which are in place for the safety of all the dogs that come in. I was one of the staff members working when the incident took place and I can say Jen took the situation very well. She calmly explained our policies which are constantly stated to everyone who walks through the doors and why we have them. The staff here love every individual dog like they’re our own and none of us would want to see them get sick during their stay. If you’re looking for a good place to board your dog or even bring them to daycare, this is the safest place to do so.
My experience at this pet hotel was disappointing. Jen's behavior was uncooperative, displaying rudeness, bullying, and dishonesty about my dogs' vaccine status. Despite my efforts to communicate my dogs' needs, she showed a lack of readiness for their boarding. Even after complying with her vaccine demand, she treated me poorly, as if my dogs were receiving a free stay. She withheld information and unfairly deducted $600 from my card without consent on the same day I boarded when they deduct money when I pick up my dogs. This experience highlighted her poor customer service skills and lack of empathy. Improvement in both communication and customer care is essential for this establishment.
Be aware of staff and the owner, Jen. They are extremely rude. I was given much false information on booking my dog for an evaluation was never able to complete it. I made an appointment came in to do that, but was told they couldn’t complete it Since they require a minimum of four hours. I was told they would hold my reservation time of the stay until we could complete the evaluation another time after a 45 minute drive each way. The staff member assured me I would still have a spot for my dog until we can perform the evaluation . I called when I knew I had the time to come back to book the evaluation and was told that my dog doesn’t have any kind of hold and they now do not have any room. even though she assured me how many spots are left and I would still have a spot. Obviously a little annoyed that I was given more false information. I asked if I could talk to the manager about it and explain the situation. She called me and said she will not be taking my dog based on my dog failing the evaluation. She even said she spoke to me person about my dog and she failed the evaluation. If she looked at the record She would see that I never paid for the evaluation because I never came in for it ! She got me confused with another customer. She even said that she spoke to me at their location, which NEVER happened. My dog never was never able to do the evaluation, I didn’t come back a 2nd time, and never met Jen. She did not care and said the phone call was recorded and said I treated her staff rude on the call. (she and keeps referring to me as someone that has come a 2nd time completing the evaluation) I’ve only been there once! Very unprofessional I will definitely tell my family to stop going there and everyone else.
If I could rate less than one star I would. When I came in, the owner Jen was screaming at her husband in front of both employees and customers. She also kept berating employees in front of everyone for ridiculous non-issues. When I came to get my dog the next day, she was scratching a lot and seemed generally weary of others. When we got home, she scarfed down her food and drank nearly an entire bowl of water which she has never done before. She also ended up having fleas and I am certain that she did not have them before. Do not come here!!!
I love using Kora to care for kitty while I’m of town! And kitty loves Kora! I rest easy knowing that kitty is in Kora’s reliable, capable, and caring hands, especially since kitty has asthma and sometimes needs special care. Kora is great at communicating how kitty is doing at each visit, sending not only verbal communication but adorable photos that let me know kitty is doing well. Thank you, Kora!
Kora is an amazing pet sitter! She is one of the only people I trust to watch my pup! She takes such great care of my hyperactive chihuahua, Huxley. One time I picked him up from her house and he was surprisingly calm for a few days. She later told me that she performed Reiki on him! Was not expecting that but it definitely worked! She also always sends photo updates (which is comforting for a dog mom with separation anxiety!) Highly recommend Kora for anyone who wants the best care for their fur babies! ❤️
I can’t recommend Kora enough! She’s taken care of my cat, Omi, numerous times, and I always feel completely at ease knowing she’s in charge. What really stands out is how much she genuinely cares about Omi. Every visit, Kora goes above and beyond to play and engage with her, ensuring she’s happy and entertained. Kora is incredibly reliable and meticulous. She handles Omi’s medication with great care, ensuring everything is administered properly. Plus, she sends daily check-ins with updates and adorable photos, which are such a comfort when I’m away. If you’re looking for a pet sitter who’s caring, dependable, and truly exceptional, Kora is the best choice. She’s been an absolute blessing for both Omi and me! I am never going back to Rover 😅
I don’t have a cat, but luckily Yo Yo does dog boarding for small dogs. My dog gets pretty bad separation anxiety and I can tell from the pictures Kora sent that he felt very at home with her and her dogs. I’m so glad I found her. She sent me pictures and updates twice a day. Totally worth the money. Pro tip: pet sitters get tips. This one definitely deserves it. Will definitely board my dog with her again!
I can't say enough good things about Robin, Whiskey's swimming coach! From the very first session, it was clear that she has a true gift for working with dogs. Robin's incredible patience, caring demeanor, and nurturing approach helped Whiskey channel his inner water dog in no time. During our time with her, I was amazed to see Whiskey flourish in the water. He completed five laps, and the joy on his face was priceless! Robin's expertise in making the experience fun and enjoyable played a significant role in his transformation. It wasn't just Whiskey who left feeling good about himself; I also felt a sense of pride and happiness watching him thrive under her guidance. Robin creates such a positive and encouraging atmosphere, making every session a delightful experience. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a swimming coach for their furry friend. Thank you, Robin, for helping Whiskey discover his love for swimming and for creating such a wonderful bonding experience for us both! Can't wait until we have our next session!
Liz has been grooming my dog for over six years now and I’ve never been able to find someone better than her! I now live in Vegas and will make trips to get Zoey groomed by her. Highly recommend
This place is incredible. I had the opportunity of helping them celebrate their 25th anniversary of operation. You can definitely tell how they have been able to not only stay in business but thrive. They take tremendous care not only of their four-legged clients but also are attentive to the needs of the two-legged ones as well. If you're looking for a place you can trust with a member of your family look no further
We took our puppy to swim lessons for the first time and had ROBIN as our instructor. She was so knowledgeable, patient, kind, and our puppy adores her!! Such a good experience and we already have our next class scheduled.
After my sweet girl went to the rainbow bridge, Aspen needed an outlet as he missed his pack mate. He had been going to Dogmode for daycare, but we decided to try swimming. Molly was great at teaching Aspen to swim. Now he LOVES it. It has been great for both of us. I can even watch him from my desk at work.
I started bringing my 8 year old lab here so he could get out of the house and get some exercise while socializing, and it's working! Staff is always friendly and they have started to remember my little dude's name! They are affectionate towards him and are more than happy to let him follow them around! I get updates when I pick him up, though they have a pictures and updates tab on their app. They don't really use it, which I wish they did. Still! Amazing staff, excellent care for daycare, and the pool techs are excellent with him as well!
I wanted to do a favor for my roommate and get his dogs groomed. He had told me that he usually went to DogMode. I called to set up an appointment and the receptionist was very kind and answered all my questions. When we got to the facility it was very clean and appears very organized/well managed. The dogs were way over due for a grooming and looked like fluff balls with two eyes and a nose before their grooming. After their grooming they looked like cute lil bear cubs. I love their cuts! Thank you DogMode!
We absolutely love dog mode. We’ve only had attentive staff that are honest with us and correct our dogs behavior. If we were able to trust anyone and board them again I will only relax knowing they’re safe and loved at dog mode!! As someone whom has worked with a large amount of dogs in a day 80 + the staff are on it, they are such nice people, and the cameras are so nice when you’re missing your dog. Swimming is top level, the pool is always so clean and the dog car wash is amazing. We love dog mode!
DogMode is the only place I trust to I leave my furry baby! Super nice caring staff, and they are awesome with updates. My baby gets to swim and play with friends, in a safe and clean place.
Very good experience! My dog had a great time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Loved the dog wash after the swim. Good exercise for your dog in winter months.
