What a wonderful house sit. Lucinda’s communication is brilliant. She provided a comprehensive welcome pack a few weeks before the sit and then talked us through the important things once we arrived. She also provided us with lots of information about the local area. Moley and Mabel are lovely dogs. They are very well behaved, both have lovely temperaments, they walk nicely on their leads and travel well in the car. We thoroughly enjoyed looking after them and Sparkie, the cat. Pewsey is in a lovely part of the country and there are walks from the house and within a short drive. Moley and Mabel are both energetic dogs and can easily walk 5-6 miles. They need long walks regardless of the weather. They are both OK when meeting people and other dogs. Lucinda’s home is beautiful, well equipped and very comfortable. We have no hesitation in recommending this sit and we hope to return in the future, preferably in the summer when the weather is better.
We had such a great time looking after Lafi and Sassi for Nataliina. They are the most gentle and affectionate and well behaved dogs you could possibly ever imagine. For some reason we were expecting quite small dogs but two huge furry fluffy friendly bundles came out to greet us in a whirl of wagging tails and welcoming woofs. Nataliina settled us in straight away with a meal and all the lowdown for the two dogs and their needs, likes and wants. Sadly Lafi wasn’t well enough to go on the walks, Sassi likes to stroll along at a leisurely pace and we were shown some lovely places to go to in the local area. Nataliina’s house is very warm, super-cosy and clean, surrounded by beautiful countryside and gorgeous views with plenty to do nearby. Our bedroom and bathroom were also very comfortable. We highly recommend this sit- especially if you like affectionate cuddly very sweet-natured dogs!
Susan is a wonderful host communicating everything that we needed to know about the sit. Her home was a pleasure to spend a few days in and we even had our own guest room. Ooshie is an absolute darling puppy. She was shy at first and then as she got use to us she blossomed right in front of us. She has soulful eyes that tell you exactly what she wants. Mostly treats!! 🤣 We hope to visit again! Elise & James
I enjoyed my stay at Christine's very much and she and her family are lively and entertaining, including her lovely youngest son Charlie who helped with my induction to the house and family life! Christine was kind enough to take me on a tour around Tedburn and to point out where all the amenities were. She was comfortable with my husband and daughter joining me for the part of the sit and my Mother for the last day of the sit. Nutmeg and Snickers are two sweet, funny dogs and I loved playing in the spacious garden with them - including 'catch' with the apples from the orchard. The family own a lovely cottage next door which they had last minute guests for, I did the changeover and cleaned for the next guests which took around 1.5hrs at a quick pace. The guest room was very comfortable and I took a few nice day trips - in to Exeter and to Dawlish. I walked a few laps with the dogs each morning around the family's meadow, but be careful of the dogs getting in to the neighbouring land...spaniel instinct will kick in and it may be difficult to get them back. You will need to be a strong/confident walker to handle both dogs and they can pull on the lead. The best thing about the sit was working from my laptop in the kitchen with a blazing Aga, looking out on to the orchard and listening to the cows moo-ing - a lovely cosy Devon experience. I loved the sweet silly spaniels Nutmeg and Snickers and took lots of funny Instagram vids of their capers.
Our stay taking care of Rosalia and Cesare was excellent. Both cats are friendly and have a well-defined routine which makes their care easier. Roberto and Davide are excellent hosts, they were in constant contact with us and left the house ready for us to have an incredible stay. We are very grateful to them for trusting us. Their house is beautiful, in a quiet neighborhood and well connected to central London.
I had a great stay with Brave and would definitely come back! The house was in a great location and in a cute neighborhood!
