Do NOT use this sitter. Had an appalling situation where he didn't respond to messages or calls for 3 days. Police had to be called and when they knocked he didn't answer the door. They had to gain entry and found him perfectly okay. He just claimed he had his phone off (for 3 days???!!!). Made for a very stressful experience.
We love Colby! Just as importantly, our CATS love Colby! This was our second time with Colby caring for our home and furry family and she did a wonderful job. She kept us informed on a daily basis how things were going at home while we were away for two weeks on a Mediterranean cruise. We came home to a clean, happy household. Our timing allowed us to have a comprehensive debriefing. I feel that pre- and post-sit contacts are super-important so that any issues can be addressed and attended to prior to subsequent "sits". In this particular event, we were not able to actually meet prior to our departure. However, since this was Colby's second time with us, she was already familiar with our home and animals, so that was not as crucial. With that being said, our "passing of the torch" was smooth due to attentive communication. Colby is a great communicator! In addition to her communication skills, she is a cat empath. Our two kitties, Tamu and Giselle, enjoy her company and their relationship is developing nicely! Colby, your presence made our trip as carefree as possible. My babies are 16 and 10.5. Hobbit the younger one has IBS and is on medication and is fed constantly. She is a new baby for us. We adopted her 6 weeks ago. We have never used a pet sitter before. We usually just have family stop by. We are so thrilled we contacted Sugar’s Pet Sitting. They were fantastic. They did everything they promised and more. Kali and Hobbit were so well cared for and loved. We received pictures and notes after every visit so we could see how things were going. I could respond and make changes as the time went on and they were happy to accommodate me in anyway I needed them too. I would recommend them to anyone and we will definitely use them again.
This service is outstanding and would highly recommend them for your fur babies. They go way beyond making sure your pets are taking care and and loved on. We had Kathlyn come check and walk our Doggy while away. She also checked on on our kitties too. My boy Teek (pictured) and I had a great experience with Kathlyn back in January. I wanted to spend a few weeks in Asia, but I'd just moved back to Dallas and didn't have an established connection with any pet sitters here. So I hired Kathlyn based on reviews alone and she exceeded expectations. It takes a lot for me to be comfortable leaving my cat with someone while I'm in another hemisphere, but Kathlyn delivered every step of the way with attentive care and frequent updates. She was even willing to be flexible when I was having trouble scheduling my return flight. Highly recommended. Five stars.
Gosh where do I start? Kathlyn has been a part of my pups lives for years. She and her team have the taken extra steps that I asked for many times, going above and beyond the norm in making sure they were taken care of and feeling loved. Recently we lost our tri-pod Phoebe to a inoperable tumor. Phoebe loved Kathlyn and I know the feeling was mutual. Always expressing her care and concern, I know Phoebe’s passing affected her as well. Last week, our front door lock that uses a code key wouldn’t work (dead battery) and my husband was locked out of the house after taking our Lola for a walk. He didn’t take his keys. The only person I could think that had a key to our house was Sugar’s Pet Sitting. I was out of town and couldn’t help. Kathlyn contacted Nancy who has taken care of Phoebe and Lola and she brought a key to unlock our door within the hour. I can’t express our gratitude for their willingness to help us. I highly recommend Sugar’s Pet Sitting, they are loving, trustworthy and timely, you will not be disappointed.
You will NEVER need another pet sitter than Sugar's!! They are simply terrific! They have a very detailed and professional website When you initially sign up they ask alot of questions, to be sure they do things exactly as you would like. And when they come, they take pictures of your pet playing, loving, etc., to post for you, and also post a detailed journal of what they did that visit, how your pet seemed, and so on. Great at putting your mind at ease. They are simply wonderful!!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars because Kathlyn sure deserves it! My dogs have never had a sitter or ever been kenneled, but a week after I moved to TX on my own, I had to have surgery and would be in the hospital 2 nights, plus not be able to walk afterward. I met w/ Kathlyn twice before my surgery and was so comfortable allowing her to spend both nights in my home with my babies and then come to check on them and walk them during the day. She kept me posted on how they were doing the whole time AND she's even helped me out with little things I've needed that I couldn't do for myself. My dogs just LOVE her! They have changed the name to "Sugar's" in honor of their mother, who I'm sure would be SO proud of what a kind and caring daughter she has. I just can't say enough about this young woman and would have zero reservation in recommending her (and her sister) for your pet's needs.
By far, the best doggy daycare around. My pup has been coming to Abbie’s on Maple since January or February of 2022 and he absolutely loves their staff and they love him as well. I can always count on them when I need to drop him off with no issues at all. Thanks to the entire staff for loving on my dog and treating him as if he’s their own. Absolutely a wonderful daycare (and boarding) for your dog. I loved seeing all the pictures of my little guy throughout the day and could tell they truly loved him. When I lost him unexpectedly to cancer the staff were so kind and compassionate. Once I'm ready to take the leap and get another doggo they will definitely be my #1 choice for both daycare and boarding.

But the most telling sign of Abbie's is how my dogs react whenever we pull up to the building. Their tails start wagging uncontrollably, and they always try to jump out of the car in excitement. My pup Kira and I absolutely adore Abbie's daycare. The staff at Abbie's is extremely friendly and I always feel at ease when I leave Kira with them. I started taking Kira to Abbie's because she was a little too anxious to stay on her own at home, and socializing with other dogs has allowed her to build a lot of confidence and control her energy levels. Another great perk is that Abbie's is cheaper than any other daycare options I've seen in the area. They also post a lot of photos throughout the day so I can always check their social media to see how she's is doing. The staff clearly love their dog clients. Definitely recommend!!!
We started taking our dog here when he was just a puppy. We’ve taken our dog to both the Belmont and Maple location for day care and overnight boarding. We’ve seen multiple staff members come and go, and many who have been with our dog for eight years now. The one consistent thing that I’ve noticed over these eight years is that every staff member genuinely loves and cares for the dogs. We’ve tried other places, and it’s clear that they don’t hire pet lovers. Knowing that the staff cares for your animal is all you can ask for as an owner.
Truly a wonderful place to take my pup! My dog has been going here for about a year and it is his favorite place. We started taking him here when our previous daycare increased prices and it really has been a great decision. The staff is wonderful and feels like they really are excited to see my dog in the mornings. I like that the facility is large and LOVE that they take photos of my pup throughout the day. Truly nothing bad to say about this place! It has been a wonderful experience!
I love how the staff treats all three of my dogs as if they were their own. I can tell they truly watch them and pay attention because they accurately describe their personalities when we pick them up. This is one of the few places my dogs are not scared to enter at all and they always come back happy and ready to nap! My fiancé and I genuinely appreciate everyone here for going above and beyond for our babies. We travel so much and its always hard to leave them but knowing they get to be at Abbie’s makes it so much easier.
I leave my dog for daycare there when I need to go to the office and I had to leave him for a longer time and use their boarding service. He always has a blast and is super happy to come to meet his friends. Also he is exhausted when I pick him up after a day, which means he was kept busy and stimulated! The staff is amazing, takes great care of him and other dogs and you can email them to get news of your pup. They publish pictures everyday on their Facebook page so you can see how your pup is doing for the day. We can clearly see they love what they do. They are one of the cheapest in the area (if not the cheapest). Five stars is not even enough, I would add more if possible 😂. I strongly recommend.
My pup and I love Abbie's Daycare! I've used daycare and boarding services for the last 2 years and I'm so grateful for the peace of mind I have when leaving her in their care. The staff treats the dogs like their own and give them plenty of love. I really appreciate that they get to play and hang out all day, not in cages at all.
Absolutely no. This facility is not equipped to handle large dogs and is actually afraid of them. We recently moved here and tried Abbies (we move every year or so for my husbands job so my dogs are very familiar with boarding/daycare and have been to probably 10 different facilities.) My two dogs had their trial and we received great feedback, when we boarded them for the weekend we watched them through photos and videos on FB all weekend long seemingly having a wonderful time playing with their friends, so imagine my surprise when I picked them up and was told they had major issues this weekend and the manager would be in touch. The manager called my husband and told him that our great dane mix 'injured several dogs' and was no longer allowed back. He was shocked, we have never experienced that sort of behavior or had any report of that before. When asked what happened, we were told that when they were released into the facility the first morning, our dog was frightened by the large number of dogs running over to him and he 'attacked'. He attacked?? They clarified there was no blood drawn and he quickly adapted and was able to play with the other dogs for the remainder of his 4-day stay but he is not allowed back. They said he is too big for them. If you have ever been around a great dane, you know how submissive they are. Management threw a submissive, scared, giant baby of a dog into a large pack and irresponsibly used the words 'attack' and 'injured several dogs' when he simply made it clear that he felt threatened in that situation and wanted a little space for a moment. We were informed that no dog was injured or blood was drawn but he was simply too big for them to manage. If you simply cannot manage large dogs, stick to small dogs only. And if you were TRULY concerned about the safety of your other guests, why would you continue allowing the 'aggressive' dog to play for the remainder of his 4 day stay? Here are 2 out of 17 photos/videos of my 'aggressive' dog that Abbies posted on Facebook all weekend long. He's the brindle, 'aggressively' hanging out and playing with the pug.
5 star facility, 5 star staff and 5 star experience. This is our first time with dog camp /daycare of any kind and our 6 month old puppy is doing well and having fun. She even got snuffle mat time today and seems like she enjoyed it. Everyone wants the best care for their pets and Pet Suites Murphy provides that for a fair price and great hours for drop off and pickup. Thanks very much!
I left my dog mocha here and was pleasantly surprised. My dog usually is timid around new people but from the start she was excited to meet the employees there! They immediately welcomed my dog and reassured me everything was gonna be fine. She was signed up for daily playtimes and I received daily photos of her playtimes which put my mind at ease. I accidentally didn’t leave enough food and they texted me letting me know and they even provided food for my pet. I also had brought some of her stuff and was amazed that they washed her blankets. I would recommend this place solely on the customer service I received but the cherry on top is my pet was well taken care of.

A short explanation of this place is its great. A longer one is if you have any doubts about taking your pets here...dont. Staff is amazing. Facilities look great. They answer their phone. I called and emailed around two months before my vacation and got a response from a "competitor" the day after I got back. Do you really want to leave your pets somewhere you can't get anyone to answer or even return a phone call or email for two months? I also called before returning just to let them know when I intended to pick them up. They answered then too. They sent me a photo of the pups playing without asking. Amazing place. Amazing people. Can't say that enough.
Surely recommend. We choose this location for our cat. Boarded for 3 nights. First time so our cat was stressed out and even stopped drinking. With upset stomach in addition we were so worried for our cat. They took time and took great care. He recovered well. The place is clean and nicely organised. Our go to place from now on for sure. Everyone we met at the front desk was so nice and polite. Helpful. Explained everything clearly. Love the place.
PetSuites in Murphy,Texas is fantastic! All of the employees are patient, kind, helpful & caring. Gizmo received the best care ever during his week’s stay. There are even live feeds so you can see how much fun your furbaby is having during playtime or how cozy s/he is in the suite. Grooming & day care valet drop off is also available . Highly recommend it!

I have a 9 year old German Sheppard that I thought they would have trouble grooming but they did an amazing job. She wasn't stressed out or appear it in any way. She seems happier and healthier without all that fur in this heat. She's an older dog and is showing signs of dementia so you made what may be her last year much more bearable. The staff was friendly and even when she growled and showed her teeth to one staff member she showed no fear. Thanks to all who dealt with My huge girl Abby. You made an old lady dog happy.
