I am writing this review to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the sitter who was entrusted with the care of my beloved dog. Unfortunately, my experience with this sitter was marred by their consistent neglect and unprofessional conduct, leaving me deeply dissatisfied with her services.

After discovering her neglect, it became evident that the sitter had a neurotic nature and displayed a sense of entitlement to stay in my home despite failing to adequately care for my dog, insulting my home, and breaching our agreement. To make matters worse, I discovered that she had been bringing unauthorized guests into my house, attempting to conceal their presence from my outdoor video camera. This deliberate deception raises serious concerns about her integrity and honesty. When confronted about her actions, the sitter offered a feeble apology but also attempted to justify her behavior by complaining about the untidiness (a new formed opinion after being confronted) of the house.

Moreover, the neglectful behavior was not an isolated incident but occurred periodically over consecutive days, adding to my disappointment. It became evident that she rarely, if ever, took my dog for walks, and she made baseless claims about urine stains in the house, despite my efforts to professionally clean the premises prior to her arrival.

Furthermore, the sitter openly admitted to leaving the house as early in the morning and not returning until 10 pm on multiple occasions, leaving both myself, neighbor, and the new sitter confused and concerned about the well-being of my dog during those extended periods of absence. The new sitter and my neighbor later debunked her accusation of urine stains and untidiness. She claimed to have magically “improved” the urine stains and address “the untidiness” all on her own that day which entirely contradicts her physical presence at the home.

In addition to the neglect and lack of honest communication, the sitter displayed unprofessional behavior by complaining about my dog's personal camera after being caught bringing unauthorized guests into my home from my video-bell camera. I had taken precautions to respect her privacy by deactivating all other indoor cameras before I left for travel (even demonstrated it during our initial home walkthrough), and she even had the ability to disconnect the cameras at her discretion through a proxy. Therefore, her argument about the indoor camera after the fact only serves to highlight her lack of intelligence and reasoning.

What particularly bothers me about this situation is the fact that the sitter was fully aware that what she was doing was wrong. We had initially agreed that no one would sleepover in my home, and if needed, my dog could accompany her outside the house during holidays or family events she may have had planned.

The presence of additional individuals in the home would result in increased utility usage, speculation, etc. which where were all valid concerns. However, I would have been open to discussing her needs and potentially accommodating her request if she had simply been honest and upfront about the situation instead of attempting to hide it out of shame of knowingly breaching our agreement.

It is disheartening to realize that the sitter, who I had active communications with engaged in such deceptive behavior and lacked the maturity to have an open conversation about her needs. This incident further highlights her lack of professionalism and undermines any trust that may have initially been established.

Additionally, it is important to note that we had an agreement that I would take care of my dog's food, vet care, and grooming expenses while I was away internationally. Therefore, the sitter's excuse of feeling miserable for up-keeping the home and my dog after being caught for neglect (two -three weeks later) is alarming and raises questions about her initial enthusiasm for the stay, especially considering she expressed excitement even in the presence of my neighbor before I left. I thought I was leaving my dog and my home in trusted hands before I left for travel.

Attempting to conduct a civil standby overseas with someone adamant about not leaving your home can only be expressed as chaos. I am grateful that I was able to quickly find another sitter through Trusted customer care and that the new sitter shares prioritization of my dog’s well-being.

In conclusion, given the multiple incidents of neglect, unprofessional behavior, and the sitter's questionable judgment, I am left with a lingering sense of unease and concern. As I embark on my vacation, I can only hope that I will return to find my home still intact after the misfortune of having her stay there.

I urge Trusted to take this matter seriously, review the evidence, and reevaluate their screening and monitoring processes to ensure that pet owners do not have to endure such distressing experiences in the future. The safety and well-being of our pets and homes should be their top priority.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the sitter's neglectful and unprofessional behavior. I cannot recommend her services and hope that this review serves as a cautionary message to other pet owners who may consider entrusting their pets and homes to her care.

I appreciate the drop-off to the airport with my car before I left her with everything. I am yet to confirm the whereabouts of my keys as she refused to disclose the information to anyone after finally finishing her tantrum and leaving.

Chelsea and Tim were great, we were able to meet before I leave for my trip. Since it was my first time using zeewoi I wanted to make sure everything was good to go. Wanda was very relaxed when Chelsea was around, I can tell she was well taken care of while I was gone through picture updates. Wanda was definitely looking for them the few days after they left! Highly recommend!

I wish zeewoi offered more stars for each aspect of the sit... Linda and David would get the maximum...

This was our first "sit" experience and Linda and David set the bar pretty high for the next sitter.

From the first video interview they were engaging, enthusiastic and really cool to talk with. Linda sent pix of them doing things around town with Harry (our dog), every day, to made sure we knew he was being well cared for... and in good hands.

The best part was the house was cleaner than we left it ( which was professional cleaned before they came)... the kitchen. Bathroom, living area and dog pen were all amazingly clean... we were so impressed. The bonus was we enjoyed spending the night before and after getting acquainted... I can see a long term friendship from this.

Finally, this was their first sit, and they didn't have any reviews at that time. They were so appreciative of the opportunity to sit for Harry, even more than we were appreciative of them doing it, it just confirmed we had the right sitters!

These are really good people... responsible, mature, smart, caring and just "old school" nice people who really grasped the spirit of the zeewoi concept. If you are lucky enough to have them as your pet's sitter, you will find the same.

Drew & Lorna
Looking after Tink's for Drew and Lorna was such a pleasure. It really was one of those house-sits where you can't find any faults. Drew and Lorna were so friendly and warm- they went to so much trouble orientating me to their home and area. Walton-On-Thames is such a quaint and picturesque place. It's not too far from London via transport, but far enough away for peace and quiet. Their home is clean, cosy and has everything you could possibly need. And then there is Tink's. She really is such an angelic sweet cat. So gentle in nature and incredibly easy to have around. I thoroughly recommend this place for house-sitting!!
