Welcoming hosts here! Their pets, Luna and Gus are the most lovely dogs. We hit it off straight away and spent some happy hours walking at nearby Avebury. They loved a visit to the pub and cuddled up with us on the comfy sofas each evening. Nearby Marlborough is full of quirky shops and cafes. Something for every budget, you can visit anywhere from charity shops to posh frock shops. I thoroughly recommend Avebury stone circle and the neolithic burial chamber. Crop circle fans can visit Alton Barnes for an exhibition at Honeypot Cafe.
Six dogs could have been a handful, having never cared for so many at once. However, these dogs all had very sweet dispositions, loved to cuddle, enjoyed the fires, and given their ages enjoyed their short walks. It is easy to become attached to these sweet dogs. Kirsteen and Stuart were warm, welcoming and kind. Our bedroom was comfortable. We did lots of walking as their home is close to the city centre and walkable distance to the beach. Loved our time here.
Alexandra and Sleepy are fabulous! Alexandra is kind and welcoming. Don’t be fooled by Sleepy’s name because she is anything but sleepy. She’s cuddly, energetic, is quick to turn on the purr, and loves her play time. The flat is in a wonderful location with plenty in walking distance and easy access to the train stations. It is cute, clean, and homey feeling. I loved sitting for Alexandra and Sleepy. I highly recommend this sit if you have the chance.

It was an absolute pleasure house sitting for Alice and Bill – our favorite hosts out of the dozen sits we've done thus-far. From the thoughtful information they provided about the area, to the near effortless care of their dogs, Humphrey and Peanut, every aspect of our experience was exceptional. Their home is not only spacious and beautiful but also thoughtfully organized, reflecting their warmth and welcoming nature. We especially loved the en suite Jacuzzi tub in the guest room, adding an extra touch of luxury to our stay. Their nearly fully covered wrap-around deck offers a serene escape, perfect for appreciating the stunning Appalachian Mountains and indulging in some peaceful bird watching. Privacy and tranquility are abundant here, making it an ideal getaway. Overall, our experience was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to Alice and Bill's hospitality and the charm of their lovely home. We can't wait for the opportunity to return and couldn’t recommend this family and their home more.
Strum and Winni were such a joy to sit for. They are both so sweet and cuddly, it made my time there so happy. Maria and Ann are super nice and easy to communicate with, and very happy to get pictures and updates about the pups. Overall I had a fantastic time with this sit.
