This was their second sit, and it was automatic to the point where they were able to enter the house with me already gone, and Jordan and Junior remembered them immediately. When I returned, the house was in order and the pups were in great spirits.

I can’t say enough good things about Lisa and Greg! They were fantastic. They offered to FaceTime with us prior to selection so we could see if it was a good fit on both sides and turns out it was a perfect fit. We truly couldn’t have asked for more in Housesitters. They were able to be flexible with our schedule which was a huge help. They gave us updates when needed but didn’t bombard us while on our vacation. They were pleasant and friendly and left the house cleaner than when they arrived. We loved them so much, we already approved them to Housesit again!

Samantha

We were so very lucky to have Samantha caring for our doggos during our 5 week trip to Costa Rica. She communicated frequently, sent photos of the dogs, took them on long walks and gave them loads of attention every day. She was super responsible caring for the animals and the house (chickens and dogs). She was also very proactive with communication and meeting to understand our routines and any challenges before we left. We have a very senior dog (15 years old) and were nervous to leave her but once Samantha was here, she put our fears to rest. Our dogs loved her! I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Sydney & Anderson

Sydney and Anderson were wonderful sitters. We met twice via Zoom prior to the sit. My pup was happy and well regulated when we returned so we know he was loved when we were gone. Sydney kept in touch with me and sent updates of how things were going. My pup is socially aggressive with other dogs. Sydney had experienced this with her own dog so I felt really confident with her walking him. It all went so well and I think Romeo probably got more than 1 walk some days which is just so fabulous! The house was clean and organized when we returned with absolutely no issues. I would definitely have Sydney and Anderson back for another sit. Your pup will be lucky to have them sit if you are so fortunate to get them as a sitter. Highly recommend!

Cecilia took good care of our cats, and was very pleasant to interact with! She checked in just the right amount, and was quite self-sufficient (thanks!). Her spaces in our home were not quite as tidy as when we left (bathroom floor was not cleaned, her bed was not made, some of her food was in the refrigerator), but then again, we have two small kids so she might have thought the same about us and I think somehow our alarm was triggered while she was leaving which may have hastened her departure.

Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.

Everything was easy and great with Hannah & Bryce's stay. I got a daily photo and update that they were loving spending time with my two cats, and the house was clean and tidy when I returned. Communication was clear and seamless. I'd have them back anytime.

Jeff & Erika are lovely people and were great housesitters!  

They arrived the night before the stay and we had a nice dinner and a chance to get to know them and for them to meet the dogs.  

While we were gone they were in easy contact about everything.   They picked up the mail and packages, managed a service call about one of our cars, and cared for the dogs very well.

We highly recommend Jeff & Erika and would have them back to house-sit, or even as guests, anytime!

Caroline and Nick made us very welcome into their home, which has an amazing views. They had good communications with us both prior and during the sit and provided us with clear instructions and contact details.  They kindly showed us around their home which was spacious and cosy and left us some wine to enjoy.  All the animals were well behaved and their surrounding area was beautiful.  This is a lovely part of England to visit.

This is one of the best sits we have done in our two years of using this site! Ruby is a perfect companion, both around the home and out hiking. We did so many incredible trails, mountains and trips with her, she's game for anything and such a good girl. The cats, James and Rippey, were shy of us at first but winning their trust was so rewarding, and they are so sweet, and easy to care for as they are indoor cats and just want cuddles. Andy and Justine were available whenever we had a question, and were super helpful and hospitable. The house is gorgeous, and perfectly situated to enjoy everything the Sea to Sky has to offer, and sitting on the roof (we even camped a night up there!) to eat dinner or have coffee with a view of the Chief is something we will never forget. Thanks so much for everything!

We loved our stay with Maverick a lot. He’s a super cute, cuddly, laid back gentle giant with a dose of hilarious stubbornness. It was such a joy learning his personality quirks and his little grumbles and playful hops that are super adorable. He brought us a lot of joy and we are going to miss him!

Christine and Chris were super kind and communicative and reachable, they left us a local bottle of wine and had a super thorough welcome guide that had any info we would need. The house is wonderful and comfortable in a great neighborhood only a couple blocks away from awesome restaurants and coffee shops. Thank you for having us!

Julie and Micheal were extremely welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Kuro was a delight, so loving and playful, and certainly the most obedient doggy I have ever had the pleasure of looking after - I am sure she speaks human! Truffles, Pip and Buttons are beautiful, all very self sufficient but love a cuddle too. Your home was stunning and we felt comfortable right away - thank you so much!

Eva is the sweetest dog. Very easy to care for. She’s a good snuggler, listens well on walks and enjoys keeping you company whatever you’re doing. Todd’s home was comfortable, has all the things you need. Caretaking in winter included some snow shoveling but not a big deal. Local trails and Red Lodge ski hill make this is a fun stay in addition to time with Eva. Lots of good eateries and cafes in town also.  Great stay!

I had a great time looking after Alfie for David and Ruth. Alfie is an incredibly well behaved dog. He walks well on the leash, has great recall and is very quiet and calm. David and Ruth have a lovely home in a great area of Harrogate, with plenty of great walks and things to do nearby. All in all it was a great sit and I'd recommend it to anyone!
