We loved having Doug and Debb here watching our home and dogs. They took the dogs with them when they left the house and got them out on hikes. The dogs seemed to really bond with them (and I don’t think they missed us much!). When Doug and Debb left, the dogs sat by the back door waiting for them to return. Great people and we would love to have them back again.
Evelin looked after our elderly cat, Sapphy, for 3 months. As first timers with a sitter we were nervous but as soon as we met her on Zoom we knew she was the sitter we wanted, and luckily she accepted our offer. She came to meet us all a couple of months before we left and after that we were convinced we had made the right choice. She clearly adores all animals and talks very fondly about her past clients. Many of their owners have her back multiple times, as we certainly hope to do. She and Sapphy set up a mutual adoration society, and Sapphy settled immediately with her despite our departure. Elderly cats bring some challenges but Evelin had clearly encountered them all before and even talked fondly of the wandering and shouting in the small hours when Sapphy forgot where she was! She sent us regular photos and videos, which showed an extremely contented cat. Sapphy will miss her enormously. Evelin left our house clean and tidy and even cooked a Hungarian specialty for dinner to welcome us home, which was delicious. She also dealt calmly with a couple of practical emergencies when the boiler failed and after a long power cut right at the start of her time here. We highly recommend Evelin to you unconditionally, you could not pick a better person to look after your pets.
