I highly recommend this sit! Laura and Dan were great to communicate with and helped with anything I needed while staying in their home. Frank, Beans, and Chai are wonderful cats and I was happy to take care of them. I’d happily watch them again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the colourful, fabulous Tivoli, looking after very cute, fluffy Simba, Njala, Thula and the birds and fish! The house is incredible- very unique architecture with “secret nooks” to relax in, stunning views over the city, beaches and mountain, sunny decks and lovely gardens to relax in. The bedrooms and bathrooms are simply gorgeous! The well-loved pets are easy to care for, fed twice a day and the dogs enjoy their walk once in the afternoon, up and around the lookout over New Plymouth. They also enjoy cuddles on your lap in the evening while watching TV. Johannes and Andreas are wonderful, very generous hosts who treated us to a delicious home-cooked dinner the night before they left and beautiful breakfast on the day they departed. They are super easy to communicate with, lots of fun and we look forward to seeing them again! We 100% recommend this house/pet sit!!
We had a great time looking after cute little puppy Charlie. Jenna and Sandra are a lovely couple and were very welcoming. The apartment is in a good location with nice parks nearby to walk Charlie, we enjoyed the nearby tennis courts. Public transport is easy, short train ride into central London.
Kess & Sam were very kind and communicative and I loved their sweet apartment! Rudy was a cool cat and wanted to hang out outside or cuddle while he was in. Super low key sit in a warm environment. Thanks!!
Thanks Dennis and Jan for inviting us to your home & trusting our family to take care of Button and Grace while you took your trip to France! Well prepared hosts, we were chosen months in advance of the house sit by Dennis and Jan and communication was kept open during the months and weeks leading up to their trip. We were kindly welcomed the night before their departure and a delicious dinner was prepared for us to share together. Routines and walks were detailed and explained along with some interesting places in the neighborhood to visit during our stay. Spreyton is a small village with a population of around 300. Rural, farming location that is just a short trip from the A30, so is well connected. The village has a community run store selling local produce and sells essentials, papers etc. There's also a fabulous pub selling awards winning range of ciders and ales, both establishments are well run and essential to this wonderful community. We've never spent time in a more inviting and welcoming community! The house itself is on a new build cul-de-sac, an extremely tastefully furnished detached home with a well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds and friendly neighbors. Now for the best part .. Button and Grace!!! Two beautiful girls, very different characters, but equally they know when to bring the energy and enthusiasm and when to be calm for cuddles. They adore human contact and we hardly left them alone, having lots of available walks from the front door in pretty much every direction. They both have excellent recall when off the lead and love to play fetch with any stick or if you take a tennis ball over the fields (but beware if Button manages to retrieve the ball first as she's most reluctant to part with it!). Both girls are total softies and extremely gentle with children. Grace, being very young has boundless energy, yet is always up for snuggles. Well trained pooches, they know not to venture upstairs and will accept being towel dried before entering the house. Our family spent the most delightful 12 days in this little pocket of magic in the beating heart of the Devon countryside. We hope we're lucky enough to return some day if our schedules collide. Thanks once again Dennis and Jan for trusting us with your home and gorgeous doggies 😍.
Marna was very communicative and flexible throughout the whole stay. She was very kind and made me feel welcomed in their home. Their place was peaceful and the neighbors were very kind as well. I enjoyed sitting outside in their private backyard. ☀️ Homer was also really sweet and fun to be around. 🐶🐾 I would love to sit their place and Homer again in the future! :)
