My dogs are always so excited to come and stay here! They have a great time playing with all the other pups. The staff is always kind and personable, and they took the time to get to know my dogs and their personality’s, and provide the best care for them. You can tell they really love each and every dog! The pricing is very reasonable, especially with how flexible they are. They really work with me. I will continue to bring my dogs here for a long time and if you are questioning it, you should too! This place is great.
Super nice employees! Took my 2 boys in last minute, gave them their needed vaccines, and stayed late when we got hung up in Zion. Super appreciative and will definitely use this service next time I’m in town
It was my furbaby Butch’s firstime in a Dog daycare and I’m a bit worried and overprotective of him. I was anxious for a couple of hours while doing our tour in Southern Utah but the ladies in this Dog Daycare updates me and also sent me some pictures! I was so happy! Butch was very happy as well!! We’ll definitely comeback!!! Highly Recommend!
From the street this is modest looking facility. What you may not know from the outside is how great it is inside! My husband and I have an older Cattle Dog who can be cautious with strangers and other dogs. We dropped in on a Saturday and was greeted by the owner Ryan. He took the time talking to us explaining what our dog can expect staying at his facility. The attention and care each dog receives put us at ease. Plus it is extremely clean inside. Later, I met Curtis the manager. He took the time to tell me how our dog did during her stay at daycare. I feel confident our dog (and us) will benefit greatly as customers at On the Spot. Plus the check in and out process is a breeze. Pre-paid daycare (great discount), a quick scan of a customer card and you are off! No long lines and time waiting to settle up. I highly recommend On the Spot!
I’m so happy I found this place. Lori was so wonderful and accommodating, and the other girls (I’m so sorry I didn’t get your names) were so fantastic when I went to pick up my dog Tito. On top of that, I felt that the prices were EXTREMELY reasonable (I noticed a lot of people complaining about that in these reviews - it’s very reasonable especially for a “tourist” location!) It’s always great when you really think your dog was cared for and enjoyed his time. He seemed to really love the girls and I felt good about him being there while I was at Zion. Definitely recommend and will bring him back when I visit again! Tito and I thank you all again!❤️
Everything seemed fine when dropping my dog off on Friday morning. Facility seemed nice enough and staff was friendly. When I picked her up on Sunday morning, however, the woman working let me know that my dog had vomited “a couple times” on Saturday but didn’t know how many. They also let me know that my dog had not eaten much. They did not try communicate this to me during her stay. I understand dogs in new environments may often be stressed and get sick, but communication would have been helpful. She has been vomiting and has not eaten since getting her back 48 hours ago and the vet is having difficulty diagnosing the issue since we received such little detail from On the Spot. My dog was also apparently constipated, but I was not told this until I called back on Monday to ask for more detail. My dog’s top right canine tooth was also broken about halfway down, which definitely occurred here as we had a vet appointment the day before she was dropped off. I understand not noticing this, and things like that can happen during play, but based on the lack of communication and not noting or sharing details about my dog’s illness I’m not optimistic about the level of attention and care she received.
We stopped by to see if they could take our dog Khloe for a doggy day care .. I had forgot to call ahead but they were fantastic... They took Khloe in and I mentioned we were a bit worried about how she would handle being around other dogs. The girls took here and introduced her to the other dogs and all was good. She must have had a good time because when we got her that afternoon she was all worn out. (pic) She is our baby so I want to thank you for taking such good care of her. Awesome place.
Lori at the front desk was very nice & personable. I took my pup here as a local resident. I was offered a free day which was really nice. I probably should have put as instruction to take my pup inside the a/c area once in a while. I don’t think my pup had the best time here because of her personality and she’s more of an indoor dog. She was a smaller dog and did not really socialize a lot which I thought she would. I also noticed that they supervised bigger dogs more than the small ones, which makes sense because bigger dogs can hurt each other more during play compared to the smaller ones. I like that they have a mist, pool and shaded part. It seems like other dogs had fun playing with each other. I also noticed that my pup didn’t get enough water during her stay. She probably didn’t know where to get it or too anxious of us coming back. I need to train my pup to socialize more without us.
Have used them for the past 3 years, each time we visit Zion National Park. Welcoming and conveniently located. My dogs love spending the day playing while we're at the park and they have been well taken care of.
Absolutely LOVE how good they are with my labradoodle who is afraid of everything. They do a great grooming job and are very nice people. Price is reasonable and they are knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
My chihuahua mix, Penny, just spent 5 days with Heather. I was a bit concerned only because she’d never been away from me. Heather said she was the best dog 😊. I’m sure it was due in part to the great care she received while there. I’d definitely recommend her & use her again. It also helped ease my mind because I went to meet her & see how her home was set up.
Heather is a great trainer. Our German shepherd has come so far since we started taking her. She had reactive/aggression issues and heather gave us all the tools/games/ places to go/ things to do/ how to use an E-collar etc. Her Separation anxiety has tremendously improved. she used to tear up our walls, chew everything in sight and poop all over her self and the kennel. NOT ANYMORE. She is happy to be left alone and loves her "wolf den" (Kennel). Price is a little more than others and she is kind of far from us. but in the end we it was worth it because now we have a dog who listens to us and loves to go on road trips. Normally Heather closes at 6 but she worked with us so that we could make it to all 5 our classes. Her story is amazing when you guys get to know her btw. 5 Stars
Project K9 is amazingly helpful and knowledgable. Heather has really studied her craft and knows so much about dogs, from genetics, to health, to therapies, and most of all TRAINING! Thats why you looked up this page right? I've been around dogs my whole life and had dogs as an adult. When I found Heather I was dealing with a particularly difficult dog. Heather was so knowledgable and helpful She helped calm my anxieties and gave me the training and hope I needed too. When yet another new dog we added to our family she was also wonderful. This boy was a total 180 from the difficult dog and he became even better after spending time with Heather. Whether you needs are daycare, boarding, nutrition questions, or training (basic or advanced) this is where to get the help you need! Heather is open to help anyone at anytime and has such a big heart. All my dogs have loved her. When boarding my dogs; one of my them, my elderly toy breed, got very sick. The old little girl was all ready being treated for glaucoma and while we were out of town her glaucoma blew up and she went blind in one eye. Heather took such good care of her. She got her to a local vet right away and got her the surgery she needed. Heather kept me up to date on what was happening as we were so far away and couldn't fly home to help our little baby. Heather even helped her post surgery and took such good care of her. I have no doubt that if my little toy breed had been at a normal boarding place she probably would have passed away from the glaucoma blow up. Heather truly saved her life. We are forever grateful.
My puppies and I *love* training with Heather! My dogs don't need to be trained as much as I do. Heather gives me the skills to work with them. An informed pet parent leads to a better behaved pet. Heather is easy to work with and she provides solid, everyday tools to make a good dog a great one! She also helps keep *me* in "place" and calm. 💜
We love Heather. She is always there to help us in any way she can. She has helped us calm our hyper active Blue Heeler, she has taught us out to be advocates for our dog, and she has even come to our vet visits to insure we were getting the right pain regimen for our dog. She is the best trainer and I know she truly loves animals.
I'm so thankful for Heather at Project K9. I would absolutely recommend anyone use her for training. She probably saved my dog's life 😂 I adopted a heeler mix shelter dog about a year ago. My dog, Rufus, struggles with anxiety and he had a head injury before I adopted him, which we believe has contributed to some major behavioral issues and learning limitations. This head injury also left him blind in his left eye. Because Rufus was always so scared by everything, I had a really difficult time correcting bad behavior. After over a year of dealing with his seriously reactive behavior and irrational fears, I found Heather. Before Rufus stayed with Heather for a 5 week board and train session, my dog was a disaster. I couldn't do normal things without Rufus freaking out (things like making phone calls, vacuuming my house, using a blow dryer, using a pepper grinder, having guests over to my house). If he didn't like something that was happening, he would often bark and pace from room to room, or he would "stalk" people and bite people to try and control them. He never hurt anyone, but he absolutely put his mouth on several people because he wanted to control their behavior. Rufus has been home from training for almost 3 weeks now. He's not perfect and I absolutely have to keep up on the training and the tools Heather gave me, but he is like a different dog. He still gets nervous when something really surprises him, but his reactions are much more mild and he recovers much quicker. I can make a phone call without him barking! I can have guests over at my house and he lays on his bed rather than trying to control them! I can vacuum my house or use a blow dryer and he ignores me! He really seems much happier and is able to relax more frequently than I ever would have imagined. Heather is awesome and I am so happy I found her. 10/10 would recommend. ❤️
We have a dog with severe social anxiety and fear aggression. Heather has been helping us rehabilitate him. He has made leaps and bounds in his social and behavioral attributes that will, over time, let everyone see just how loving of a dog he is. Without the help of project k9 this would have never been possible.
We loved working with Project K9 and our doodle dog, Sophie. We learned so much about how to train her, and how to help her to be a fun member of our family. She walks well on a leash and we enjoy playing with her off leash. Heather was really great to watch us and our son and work with us individually as we learned how to teach Sophie. We had in person and virtual lessons and they have all been great. We highly recommend Project K9.
We left our golden doodle for an overnite stay with Project K9, and he had SO MUCH fun and it was very good experience for him. We are very protective of our doodle, but Project K9 did a great job and I highly recommend.
We've worked with Heather for 3+ years now (and 2 dogs). We've done in person and online sessions. Heather trains the owners as much as the dogs. She gives you the tools and education to balance your dog and keep them balanced. What is especially great about Heather is how much she truly cares about her clients and their dogs. She is always available for advice and even emotional support. After training if you need pointers or to better understand something, she will be there to help. Throughout working with her we have shared the highs and the lows, happiness and tears. She was there for us throughout it all! I highly recommend her and her programs.
Sara has been nothing short of exceptional. She cared for my dog Marmot while I was working long shifts through the pandemic. She was so patient with him the first time and gave him the space he needed to get to know her. The 5 months following, my boy couldn’t have been happier to see her everyday. She has also always been flexible and available short notice and on holidays. I would HIGHLY recommend her.
Sara was wonderful staying overnight with our 2 dogs and 2 cats. I appreciated the updates and pictures. I was so worried about my senior dog but Sara eased my anxiety with the updates. And he loved the little toy she left him. I’m sure my pets are looking forward to more visits from Sara and Grayson.
My husband called Sara's Happy Paws Pet Sitting early April a couple of times and left voicemails and has yet to receive a call back. I decided to give them another chance because we are in need of overnight pet care for a couple of upcoming trips and unfortunately we do not have many businesses that offer this service in the area. I called the number listed and left a voicemail, didn't hear back within 24 hrs so I sent a text message and received a call from Grayson. I explained my situation and asked if we could arrange a meet and greet because we have never done an overnight service and my husband and I had lots of questions. He told me that he could schedule something in the next month but I would need to register on their website and send a message through there. He asked me to text him my email address which I sent him immediately after we hung up. I registered and sent a message recapping our phone conversation. After 4 days, I hadn't heard back yet so I sent Grayson a follow up text and explained that my husbands schedule was pretty busy next month and I would love to get something scheduled soon because I did not feel comfortable booking my trips until I arranged the care for my fur babies. He never wrote back to me and no one responded to my message through their website. This is horrible customer service. I visited their Instagram account and they find time to post pictures but don't make the time to respond to new customers. At this point, I don't feel comfortable using them and I would definitely not feel comfortable paying a 50% non-refundable deposit when they are unresponsive to any communication.
This was our first time using Sara's cat sitting service and the word awesome doesn't adequately describe the terrific job they did! We will use them every time we need our kitties watched in the future! They actually care about your pets!!! Thank You!!!!!
LOVE, LOVE, Sara!!!! We have had her come a few times and take care of our puppy toy mini schnauzer, Prince. She always give the best care and attention to our puppy. Our puppy loves her so much. Sara is also a fabulous trainer, we had her train Prince right after we brought him home. We would highly recommend her.
I'd give more than 5 Stars if that was an option! Sara is absolutely fantastic! She is professional and easy-going, and my animals love her! Extremely dependable, I never have to worry about my pets when they're in Sara's capable hands. She has watched my tribe several times, I wouldn't trust them with anyone else!
Sara and Grayson have been watching my two guinea pigs when I'm out of town for about a year now and I couldn't be happier to have them looking after my pets! They're excellent at sending pictures and videos each day I'm gone, which is always a huge reassurance for a nervous piggie parent. When one of my pigs required oral medication, Sara went above and beyond in administering it. I am so thrilled to have found petsitters who care for and seem to appreciate my little critters as much as I do and highly recommend them to anyone!
Sara and Grayson are wonderful. After moving here across the country, I was nervous trusting my dogs with anybody except close friends and family. They have now cared for them several times and I'm able to relax knowing they're in good hands. I highly recommend them to anybody in need of a petsitter!
Sara and Grayson are the best! It is so reassuring to know my girls are in trusting loving hands when I am away from home. I love that they send photos and little videos so we know our dogs are happy and well taken care of. They are reliable and always show up. I would HIGHLY recommend them to care for your pets when you are away.
Sara is a fantastic pet sitter! She gives extra Loving care to any pet she takes care of! Sara has so much knowledge and expertise in all the areas needed to be able to take care of any pet. She is also very respectful and courteous to all pet owners! I highly recommend her!
The staff we interacted with were enthusiastic, friendly, and obviously love dogs. We made two consecutive day long reservations, and using the app was quick and easy, with lots of email and text reminders and confirmations. Pricing was reasonable and I could tell our rescue dog felt safe (and got pleasantly tired out playing) there. 10/10 would recommend and use again. Thank you for helping us adventure while in the hot Zion desert!!
Canyon Paws is awesome! We dropped our pup off here for 2 days while we were exploring Zion. He played all day both days!! When we went to drop him off on the second morning, he couldn’t get into the play area quick enough- he was so excited to be back for more!! We will definitely be back next time we’re in town, the owner is so sweet and does such a great job. We’re grateful for Canyon Paws!!
Annie was so great & sweet! My dog Blueberry seemed very happy when we picked her up. Lots of space to run & other dogs to play with while we hiked in Zion. Great prices too! Definitely recommend if you need some doggy day care while you’re in the area.
We took our lab Willow to Canyon Paws for about 5 hours while we went to Zion. She loved her time there and we appreciate the wonderful care that she received. Both of the caretakers that we met were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Canyon Paws!
If you're looking for a comfortable place to let your dog run around while you run around Zion, this is the spot. It's newly owned and renovated. Very responsive, easy sign up, and great energy. Our dogs were able to be around others, and so they got to hang out with El(owner's dog). They are expanding more areas, so even if your dog needs to be alone. They have you covered.
Our pup definitely had lots of fun here. We can tell everyone there love the pups and take good care of them. They have a big yard and indoor section. It is probably the most expensive we’ve ever spent in a daycare, but everything’s expensive in Zion.
Double the normal boarding rates, but was happy to pay to save a couple hrs driving all the way to St George and back. Was a huge help being so close to Zion, the place seemed really nice and staff was really friendly. I'd love it if in the future they can add some IP cameras
We’ve been traveling the country, stopping at as many national parks as we can. We LOVE having our dog with us, but she can really limit what you can do in national parks. So relieved to find Canyon Paws right down the road from Zion! The reviews and pics gave us trust that our pup would be well-taken care of in a great home with a cool yard for the dogs to play in. But after speaking with the ladies at Canyon Paws when we dropped her off and picked her back up, it solidified that I couldn’t imagine leaving her with anyone else. This is the place you can feel supremely confident your fur baby is well-taken care of, so you can explore Zion and the surrounding areas with full peace of mind. They will treat your pup like one of their own, 100%. We loved having the hourly rate so we could just pop back in when we’re ready, no hassle or stress thinking about paying for a full day if you aren’t sure what the day looks like. If we’re ever back in the area with our dog, we will be pumped to have Canyon Paws as a safe and secure option for doggy daycare. Our dog is super shy and majorly anxious - they made sure they were well informed and treated her so well, and we were excited to hear how well she did during her stay. They even post pics of the pups on their instagram! If there was a Canyon Paws near every national park, traveling with dogs would be a thousand times easier. We really, really appreciate your love and care for our little shy girl!
We didn’t do our proper due diligence and did not expect Zion to be so pet unfriendly. There is only one hike that you can take your dog on. Canyon Paws was able to accommodate my pup last minute which was amazing. I was even given a discount upon picking him up. Thank you!
The staff was incredibly friendly, and we felt confident leaving our dog in their care for the entire day while we hiked at Zion. They took excellent care of her, and I would highly recommend their services.
We loved Animal Tender! They treated Maddie so well. She always had the best time and was tired when we picked her up. We travel full-time, so finding doggy daycare/boarding that we can trust is crucial (and stressful sometimes). Animal Tender made it easy though. We had to board Maddie three times in the last month, and we had no issues. In fact, Maddie would let out her excited whine when we got to the parking lot and would pull us to the front door because she loved it so much. I loved the webcams and the puppy postcards for some added comfort while she was boarded. The postcards had great pictures and were fairly detailed, which was appreciated. They have so many options for add-ons to make boarding even more fun for the pups. We will miss Animal Tender!
I have been taking my dog, Midas here for about a year now. The staff is so kind and caring. Midas always comes home happy, and calm! There was one time he found a pebble and swallowed it and they immediately called and informed me, letting me know what happened and that they brought him in to make sure it wasn’t stuck and he was okay. If he gets dirty playing they always bathe him for me, and they have even sent me cute pictures of him during the day(see attached photos). I can’t say enough good things about this place. I appreciate knowing my fur baby is cared for and having fun while I’m at work.
I am not one to write bad reviews... but this place has lost my trust with my dog. We had been going here the past 2 years. My dog loved it. When we board him, we also book a bath, small grooming, and nail trim for him. Well the past 2 times the staff has failed to do this despite the booking, me calling ahead to make sure, and me reminding them I would like that before we come get him. This most recent time, the girl was going to charge me for all of these services and before she did, I asked if he got them done. She said "let me check". Turns out the services I requested weren't offered to my dog! And she was still going to charge me!!!! Be careful with your money here and if you go here, make sure they are doing all the services you request. Not getting groomed before coming home is whatever....but to still charge me for it?? No, thank you. Not sure if they have new staff members or what, but we will we definitely NOT be going back. They never said sorry or even tried to make the situation right either. At least be courteous with your customers.
My dog was well taken care of. Only complaint is being charged $45 for an "exit bath", which I'm thinking was a squirt off and no shampoo. He didn't smell like he'd been cleaned at all. Other than that, the staff are friendly and were good to my pup.
New owners, new changes and not for the betterment of your loved one. If you want your dog to be locked in a kennel for 21 hours a day because they overbooked dogs to play outside then this is your place. If you want your loved one to not be fed a meal than this is the place. To recoup their money of buying this place, they are overbooking dogs and leaving your loved one in a kennel the rest of the time. If that's what you want, then this is where you should leave your animal.
The Animal Tender Pet Resort is our first choice for the kind and patient care of our sweet but anxious mini Aussie Alastair! He was very anxious when he first started visiting for day camp and he has grown more familiar with the caring staff whom we greatly appreciate. The Animal Tender Resort is staffed with professionals who are very good with Alastair and we feel very confident leaving him for boarding even though it is hard to leave him. Thanks again for the caring services you provide!
We left our mini golden doodle Kevin for an overnight trip and he did so well! The workers that were there all seem to absolutely love their job and you can tell they love the dogs. They said they had so much fun with Kevin! He was happy when we picked him up like he had had a great time. We will definitely be bringing him back!
I brought my two dogs, Admiral and Sargent. Thoughtful and attentive. This was the first trip away from home for my newest dog Sarge and his good manners exploded. He was awful, and yet the staff was positive and polite. It took me an hour and the correction collar to calm him down. The staff’s graciousness was much appreciated.
What a fun place! First time at doggie daycare. Great experience with my pup! She played hard and the staff was so kind and accommodating! She even got her nails trimmed. We will definitely be back. I was so happy to get a report on how she did for the day. It was helpful and reassuring.
I’m new to the St George area and my dog, Mia was in desperate need of a grooming and nail trim. I went through a Google search for Groomers near me. Animal Tender Pet Resort came up very highly rated. They could not have been more accommodating! They were so kind to Mia who was terrified walking into someplace new. They did a BEAUTIFUL job on Mia and she was wagging her tail when she came out. I’ll be a regular customer there. I couldn’t be happier with the services they offered and the staff! I’d give 10 stars if I could. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our mini golden doodle, Hudson, loses his mind when we pull into the parking lot because he knows his vacation is about to start at his favorite place on earth. Your dog will love it. And you’ll love the cleanliness of the facility, their care of your fur baby, and the kind employees. 🫶🐶 …
Our dogs get their grooming here and also have stayed at the kennels a few times when we go on vacation. They are always well taken care of and groomed nicely. The staff is friendly and helpful and treat our dogs (and us) with kindness. Their pricing is very reasonable.
Bed and Biscuits saved me.. after rescuing my dog I realized he had separation anxiety extremely bad. I would go to work and he would go crazy in my house. A friend recommended Bed and Biscuits so I gave them a try..I absolutely love the facilities and the staff. And better yet my dog LOVES it there. For everything they offer and the low prices I recommend them to everyone that asked about the care. I now can go to work or out of town and know my fur baby is happy and having fun.
My pup goes to the daycare when I have school all day and she is always so excited when we get there and so worn out when I pick her up! Which is perfect because then I can do homework while she lays right by me. The staff is always friendly and always excited when she comes in. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an affordable daycare for their fur babies.
My dog is taken care of well. Availability. Best priced so far. Could improve scheduling options ie. an online scheduling/account/form submission/vaccines/stay history. Can be hard to get ahold of over the phone.
Our dog attends doggie daycare and absolutely loves it. She is always greeted with love and affection from all of the staff and is happy to be there. She also receives grooming services with Kara who is the best! Thank you for taking excellent care of Maverik!
My dog was there from last Tuesday until Friday afternoon, she had just been spayed, her food was provided, so as to not upset her digestive system during recovery, they didn't use hardly any of her food, and now she seems to have kennel cough & diarrhea I would not recommend them, and I certainly hope they contact me to provide the antibiotics. Not a happy pet parent 😔
We love the Bed n Biscuits team so much 💜 I cannot say enough good things about the whole staff! Every dog I’ve had has absolutely loved them but Benny and Sophie especially did. Thank you Lance, Taylor, Madelyn, Alyssa and the whole bnb team. You guys rock 💜💜💜 …
I am so happy with the daycare services! I have just dropped my dog, The Stig, a 9 pound, Jack Russell terrier, off for his second day. When we pulled into the parking lot and he realized where we were, he jumped out of his car seat into my lap and could not wait for me to open the door. Once inside, he ran towards the nearest employee, and eagerly lead them into the playroom, never once looking back at his poor mother. I think The Stig’s reaction speaks well of how he is treated there, how safe he feels, and how much fun he has.
I’ve been using Bed & Biscuits for about 2ish years now? Since my father was diagnosed with dementia I moved down to STG and they have taken such good care of Dallas. I’ve raised my dog since she was 6 weeks and she’s like my kid. I trust them with her no problem. She loves it there and they love her. Take your animals here!!!!
From the initial communication to pick up, this has been a great experience! All the staff we spoke to and met in person were wonderful and a special treat was receiving pictures throughout our dog's stay showing that he was having the best time making new friends! If we are ever in the area again we would definitely bring our pup back here for day camp and/or boarding.
What I really like about this place is they do not take in too many dogs at once. This allows for them to be able to really focus on our pups needs ( one pug is blind and senior, and the other young pug has a knee injury). The place is also clean and it was nice picking them up from daycare and not smelling terrible like other places we've used. The staff was very friendly and I highly recommend this place. It was nice to be able to drop our pups off for the day while we went hiking. I also enjoyed the photos they emailed to us throughout the day. Thank you from us, Princess Peach, and Goomba!
Frank and Lola LOVED going to day care at Zion Canyon Canine! We traveled from Florida to hike the National Parks, since dogs are not allowed in the NPs we researched and found Zion Canyon Canine. While we were hiking they sent us pictures of the pups having a great time. When returned the following day, both puppies were so excited and happily went back to play. Thank you! We will trust our pups with you anytime we are even close to the area! 10 of 5 stars!
My dog has completely changed for the better since attending the daycamp here! She LOVES it! The staff is super friendly and my dog is always so excited to see them! You can tell how much they truly love the animals! I was very nervous at first, but I couldn't be happier with my decision picking this place! I got the membership, which has some really great perks. A daily report card is emailed to me everyday about my dog, along with pics from throughout the day! They split the animals into separate play groups, and all are always supervised. So much more great things, definitely should look into them. Thank you all for the love that you show my dog and how you helped her adapt so well! Forever grateful to you guys!
Dropped our guy off here for doggie daycare for 2 days while we explored Zion. :) we loved that he obviously had just as good of a time as us. Because he was just as exhausted as we were when we came back from hiking angels landing. Would not hesitate to bring him back here. He had so much fun playing with the other dogs and the team was so good at communicating with us and sending us updates. They even did a little photo shoot for him. We are obsessed. Can’t recommend them enough.
This was the first time my two standard poodles have ever been left in daycare. So I was a bit nervous! But my boys were treated so kindly (as was I) that they arrived home happy and tired! In fact, my Loki was getting such a great ear scratch while we were checking out that he almost didn’t want to leave! Definitely would recommend the caring staff at Zion Canyon Canine!
Zippit had her first day camp experience at Zion Canyon yesterday. She loved it! Her favorite thing to do is play with other dogs, and it was obvious from the photos posted by staff that she made many new friends there. It was great to know that she was having fun while I was getting a lost list of errands done in St George. We are looking forward to future day camps, and eventually overnights.
These guys are the best! My Harley boy is so well treated while I'm gone, he's always a happy boy when I pick him up and because they send me daily pictures (sometimes twice a day), I'm put at ease seeing how much fun he's having each day while I'm away. If you need a place for your dog, whether it's for a day or 11 days as I did, you can rest assured Zion Canyon Canine is a good choice!
This place is really cool! We rented their pool for an hour and our dogs had a lot of fun! Will definitely be coming back again.
The ABSOLUTE BEST CARE AND SERVICE!!! On our 1st trip ever to Zion, my usually reliable kennel in Los Angeles called me to cancel my reservation THE DAY BEFORE we were to head out due to an outbreak of Kennel Cough (very contagious to pups). So I started scrambling to search for options. Call it fate or dumb luck, ZCCRC&S came through to save our family trip! Not only were they able to accommodate us on such ridiculously short notice they did so in a very professional and comforting manner that assured me that my dogs would be given great care! Our dogs were kept busy with games, interactions with staff members and at the end of our trip, they were bathed before pick up! Great job!!! I should also note that my two small dogs are seniors and now require medication. One takes pills twice a day and my other who is diabetic also needs two insulin jabs twice a day...this was not an issue for ZCCRC&S. In fact I honestly I feel that my dogs came back in better shape than when I dropped them off! OVERALL: If one of your paths in life take you through Hurricane UT and for whatever reason your fur baby needs quality boarding that does more than just feed and clean them...your only choice is Zion Canyon Canine Rec.!!! -Grateful
Absolutely LOVE D & B. Our German Shephard - Harley also loves it. We have a blue food bag that we pack for Harley when she stays with Bruce and Diane. We actually hide the bag from our girl until we are ready to leave. As soon as she sees the bag she starts crying in excitement and runs to the car. We also say our goodbye's to her while we are still at our home, because the second we arrive at D & B - Harley is gone, not even turning back to say goodbye.. LOL.. So nice to know our dog LOVES D & B as much as we do. Bruce and Diane are the best.
There is no better place to board your pet! I tell my friends that Diane and Bruce's place is doggy paradise! The company offers a variety of services; I use boarding and day care. The dogs are monitored, provided with free access to the outdoors, have enrichment toys and yards to play in, and are in the house like a normal household. They divide dogs according to their needs, so the little dogs or shy dogs are not intimidated. They have multiple yards to play in. When I tell Bindi she is going to see Diane and Bruce, she gets all excited and can't wait to go there. D&B's is truly outstanding.
Our dog, Rusti, loves to go to D&B Pet Sitting. When we tell our dog, "We are going to see friends," she immediately knows it's D&B and starts squealing. She loves Diane and Bruce and the other animals that are there. They spoil our dog. We are so appreciative of their watchful care and love for our sweet Rusti.
We are former residents of Cedar City and current residents of Mesquite, NV. We travel only if Diane and Bruce (D & B) are available to take care of Cedar. Cedar is a 10 year old border collie who has taken spoiled to a fine art form. Traveling nearly 100 miles to board Cedar is a small price for the comfort we feel when he is in their care. We enthusiastically and wholeheartedly vote for D & B Pet Sitting as Business of the Year (or Decade). Sandy and Brian Ball
I have been taking my dog to Diane and Bruce since 2017 when she was a puppy. My dog loves being with them and it's really nice to see how excited she gets when we're approaching their driveway. I was really concerned about how I was going to socialize my dog, but staying here helped so much! The only thing wrong that I can think of is that it can be difficult to book with them because they're in such high demand (for good reason).
We love Diane and Bruce's place; we feel 100% comfortable leaving our GR here, and she loves it. I know she's getting attention and being cared for here, not just stuck in a cage or left at home with food-and-water visits while we are away from home
Seriously so good with my pups. They feel right at home and are excited to come here. Diane and Bruce treat our dogs like their own and they sleep on their couch and bed with them. Because they are good at picking and choosing only friendly dogs my little ones are not scared and love playing here. Highly recommend!
Poppy loves staying with Bruce and Diane. It’s like her second home! They take wonderful care of her and she greatly enjoys her play time. They are the best!
D&B’s pet sitting is always our #1 choice when we have to leave our pups for any length of time. We have used them for the last 10 years and their service continues to be personal, professional, and reliable. Our pups are indoor dogs. They are medium-sized and need a lot of attention. They don’t do well just anywhere and would be stressed in a loud kennel situation or staying outdoors. We are never concerned about the care, attention, and exercise our pups are receiving while they are with Diane and Bruce. We love their boarding service where our pups stay with them in their home and are treated like family. You have to schedule your boarding months in advance, but it’s worth it. I recommend them!
If I could give D&B beyond five stars, I would! Bruce and Diane are amazing! It is a great comfort knowing my pets are well taken care of while I am travelling. They make leaving home so much easier and are always happy to care for our pets. Not only do they provide a great home to love and care for them, they are spoiled with love and attention. They keep us informed, send pictures and we even get cute postcards after their stay. I have used D&B for several years now, and will continue to do so because of the trust and love they offer. Thank you Bruce and Diane for taking such great care of my two fur kids!
My dogs love this place. They start jumping around the car as soon as they realize where we are going. They have a groomer we have used several times. They do half and full day care days as well as overnight boarding. The staff and owners are awesome. They take care of your dog like it is their own. Book early though. They fill up quickly.
Traveling to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks and knew dogs weren't allowed on trails. Researched boarding facilities in the area. Chose Unleashed because it's been in business a long time, was on our way in and out of Utah, good prices, quick responses to my questions and extremely friendly staff. Very clean, each pet has a private gated area to de-stress and sleep in, there's an indoor and an outdoor play area, and large dogs are separate from small dogs. Staff on site 24 hours.
Sherry and the staff are amazing! They have a passion of caring for dogs. They treat them like they are their own! My pup loves it there and his behavior has changed for the better! I trust them whole heartedly! They monitor emails even after hours. They are the only ones I trust to take care of my pup! The facility is beautiful. They aren’t kept in kennels all day. They get out and play in play groups. You have to remember dogs will be dogs. The staff are loving and do everything possible to take good care of your pup. They have a special place in my heart!!
Two years ago I adopted a free range dog who was found on the Arizona strip. He was pretty rough around the edges. He went to a 10 day ‘board and train’ at unleashed, and was a new, well behaved dog when he returned 😎. He now goes twice a week to play, and still gets an hour of training each week. Unleashed has been wonderful for him! …
Whow. Great place and my Border Collie/Blue Healer mix and she, Roxie, loves Makala, her groomer. Roxie has her shampoo & brush every two weeks and waits in the car with tail wagging to see Makala. She loves going in and is very happy, not afraid at all. They take good care of her.
After I picked Ody up from Unleashed he was lethargic (which is normal for mastiffs). He threw up right when I picked him up but didn't think much of it, that night he wouldn’t eat and kept throwing up and then realized he had eaten a tennis ball while he was there. I called them to let them know what had happened. The lady I talked to was unapologetic and made it out to sound like it was all Ody’s fault. A little disheartening. I understand you can’t watch my dog 24/7 but to feel like it was his fault and no other makes me frustrated. Especially seeing him throw up big chunks at a time, we’re both exhausted ☹️
My puppy loves it here! She's excited to see the employees and exhausted when she comes home. Very friendly people who really care about your fur baby ❤
Took our 4 month old puppy to unleashed over the Easter weekend. Hated to board the little guy. Long story short. we will do so again. Also had Unleashed give him his first hair cut - Wow!! He looks great!!
My little Shiba really enjoys going there. He loves the staff!
Unleashed Pet Resort is amazing! The new facility is beautiful, with large areas for your pets to run and play. The staff is very attentive, loving, and fun. They take cool pics of your dogs so you can see how much fun they're having while they are there. Not just cooped up in a kennel all day. They have grooming and training available as well! They also take your pets safety and health very seriously, making sure that vaccinations are up to date and the dogs are playing with friends that are compatible. They go the extra mile to make your furry babies are in good hands.
I literally cannot say enough good things about Jay and Ivon. They care for our dog like she is their own (and sometimes I think our dog would like to move in with them!) They have been so flexible with the schedule since our jobs often have us working weird hours. They send us pictures and updates throughout the day which is so fun! Ivon grooms our dog too and she is literally the best groomer we’ve ever had. She takes such care with every detail and our dog always looks/smells amazing afterwards! They have even cleaned her up after days when she plays really hard with them. Knowing our pup is in such good hands is the biggest relief. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!
