This is a grand home on a large property that provided us with quite a lovely holiday. Among its joys are huge windows overlooking the forest and a big chef's kitchen. There's a full bar and game room leading out onto a Tuscan-style patio. In the summer there are Concord grapes growing on a trellis by the patio, and organic veggies in the garden. A walking trail winds along the Potomac River nearby where you can see birds of all kinds. Leo is a very easy dog, he likes everybody and is well behaved. If you ever want to see pure doggy ecstasy, try brushing his coat, his reaction is hilarious! He's big, but well trained on voice commands so that makes it easy. You can sit on the porch with your coffee and let him loose on the front lawn, he's very good about the electric fence and doesn't chase passing dog walkers. The neighborhood is great for walks, it's quiet, with large properties and nice homes. Thank you for a great stay!
We really enjoyed our experience. Cecile and Michael’s home is uniquely located in a beautiful, historic neighborhood near a marina. We loved watching the moon over the water in the evenings. The house is spectacular and a nice place to spend your time because it is so comfortable. McGee and Bailey are very fun — just pleasant dogs. McGee is the best cuddler ever, and Bailey is an older, sweet girl who takes it easy. (We had the chance to sit for Remus, a rabbit, this time as well! What fun!) There are two very good restaurants within walking distance that we went to a few times. However, if you like to cook, their kitchen is awesome. So big and easy to move around in. They also have a little theater in the basement which was neat. Cecile and Michael are good people, and we enjoyed meeting them and keeping in touch with them during their journey.
Beatriz is just amazing. She loves to cuddle and she’s the sweetest girl. We had a great time together, and Cally’s apartment it’s beautiful, clean and the location is great!!!
