Leslie was a terrific pet-sitter. She was on-time for the sit and did a wonderful job taking care of all our different animals. She even collected eggs from the chickens. The time spent at Katharina, Regis and Selen's place was memorable. They were very open and friendly from the first communication until I left the house. All the animals are amazing to be around. Taking care of them was a pleasure. The horses are very very friendly and they are always happy to be around you. You just need to be friendly with them too :). Housesitting for Debbie and Simon was an absolute pleasure. They were both warm and welcoming, explained everything in detail, and cooked us a fresh meal! (Simon is an amazing chef), they made us feel at home immediately. Their pets (two dogs: Kaida and Kenji, and one cat: Chaos) were fantastic, they all have their own unique personalities and they absolutely love being around people so caring for them was completely hassle-free. (Not to mention how adorable they all are). The Chateau, Gite, and Grounds, are all stunning, we were there for 2 weeks and experienced hot sunny weather, snow, and torrential rain, and nothing dampened how relaxing and calm the place is - beautiful buildings and land in all conditions! The only hard part was leaving! I can't recommend housesitting here enough, we had a fantastic time and won't be forgetting it anytime soon!
We couldn't have imagined a better place to start off our TrustedHousesitters' adventure. Gudrun is the most wonderfull woman who made sure that we had everything we needed - and more - to take care of their 3 dogs. Jackie, Pepe and Resi were the best compagnons a person could ask for and behaved very well during our daily walks in the neighbourhood. Pepe followed us everywhere we went in the house and really likes to be around humans all the time. Resi is just a cute bundle of joy asking for your attention while shaking her entire body. Jackie took a day or two to fully warm up to us, but afterwards she would snuggle up like the rest of the pack. We really loved our stay and felt like a part of the Brand family. We will forever be grateful to have met Gudrun, her husband Ralf and the three dogs. Hope to see you soon ? love, Laura & Niels
Looking after Mr T and Bear for Alice was an absolute delight. The furry brothers are real characters and in many ways polar opposites; Bear is a total softie who loves curling up on your lap whilst you're working away on your laptop while Mr T is constantly thinking up new ways to convince you to feed him again and again and again (which you mustn't!!). The boys were genuinely good fun to look after, playful and affectionate and we became extremely fond of them. Alice and Kea are both lovely humans and incredibly warm and considerate hosts. They gave us very clear instructions about how to care for their cats and made sure we felt 'at home' and comfortable. In terms of getting around London, the house is located in a really friendly community that is well-connected to buses. We would definitely recommend this sit to others and hope we have the opportunity to reconnect with Alice, Kea, Mr T and Bear in the future.
Following our application to look after Tosca we had a video call with Cynthia which allowed us introduce ourselves and subsequently agreed the sit. It was a real privilege to have the opportunity to look after Tosca who is beautiful and well behaved dog and we enjoyed many walks around the village together. Honington is a lovely hamlet very well positioned to explore the area. We were also lucky that the on Sunday the gardens were open which allowed us to see even more and meet a number of the villagers. Simon and Cynthia have a lovely house and garden which was not open to the public and so we were able to enjoy it ourselves.
What a great experience. Larry and Nancy were so kind and accomodating. Piper is such a cutie, and very sweet and easy. Their home is lovely and they have an art studio that for me was incredible. And did I mention the jacuzzi and steam shower? Larry and Nancy also let me use their electric Chevrolet Bolt since I don't have a car. Additionally, Ashland is such a beautiful place. If you have a chance to sit for Nancy, Larry, and Piper absolutely do it.

I will gladly recommend Cathy’s Critters Care to anyone needing pet sitter service. I was very pleased with my pups being at home in familiar surroundings instead of in a crate at a boarder. And I had them there when I got home on Sunday, rather than waiting til Monday (and paying for another night) when the vet opens. The sitter sent me updates and photos with each of their visits. AND it ended up being less costly than boarding them. I will definitely use them again!

We have been using Cathy’s Critter Care for a year now and we are so happy and pleased with their level of care, communication and reliability when caring for our sweet pets while we are away. When we were looking for care for our troubled German shepherd and anxious cocker spaniel, they took on the challenge with open arms. I had an emergency and she arranged her schedule to do the “Meet & Greet” before I had to leave-now that’s FIVE STARS ALONE, in service! I came home to happy dogs, and a tidy home! Of course, except for my own disarray! My dogs loved her! My older rescue, Piki, is often wary of people she doesn’t know, but warmed up immediately-probably those little treats she has helped! I just came home from the hospital and the dogs were happy to see me, but not stressed at all like they normally would be if I’m even gone for a few hours. We had a meet and greet and she was super friendly. We did not end up needing the service due to a passport/birth certificate issue. When we let her know the refund was done promptly. We will definitely be using her services in the future though. We had everything planned and really hated our trip got canceled but just had to come leave a review on how great the service was. We are big fans of On Paws!!! We have been taking our dog here since she was a baby. Every time we pull into the driveway, Mom and Dad pretty much cease to exist, and she just wants to get to daycare as fast as possible. It’s very comforting to know our pup is well cared for and that she’s enjoying herself while we are out of town. We also know our kitties at home are well cared for when On Paws comes over. We also receive text updates while we are gone, which adds additional peace of mind and makes us smile. On paws saved me in a very urgent situation! Petsitter cancelled at 5pm the day before we were supposed to fly out. We were able to schedule a meet and greet early the following morning. Their service was unmatched while we were away. Pictures, notes, updates each and every visit left my anxious heart knowing our babies were in good hands!

Very pleased with the sitters who came to home to feed 2 cats and 1 dog while I was out of town. Cats are shy, just needed food put out for them a.m/p.m. Spent time to interact with dog playing ball outside and with his toys inside. Provided a little exercise and familiar activity for his sake. I had never been away since rescuing him. I was a "Nervous Nellie' over his anxiety with strangers and being left alone. They offered no difficulties, sent status reports after each visit, including some pics which was a wonderful reassurance! I would highly recommend their care and personal attention if anyone has a need in the future❣️
Lily loves going to OnPaws. She is skittish around adults and they work with her so she will get out and play with her doggie peers. She loves dogs of all sizes!!
My Buddy’s pet resort was the perfect choice for our pups stay over the holiday week!! As someone who has worked in dog boarding before, I have a long list of things I look for in a facility, and Buddys checked every box!! The kennel set up stands out to me the most, where dogs have an indoor / outdoor area all to themselves that they can access 24/7 as they please! Besides the amazing amenities, I felt as though my senior dog and 8 month old puppy were well attended too and cared for. I had nothing but great experiences with staff, and received picture updates every other day (which was AMAZING)
My dog Milo has been at my buddy's pet resort for the past couple of months, and he absolutely loves it. He enjoys going to daycare, swimming in the pool, and playing with the other dogs. Milo was also well taken care of while I left him there for boarding. The staff is nice and friendly and always gives him great nail trims. 10/10 Recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about My Buddy’s Pet Resort! I’ve been taking my two dogs there for about a year, whether for daycare or a stay. I love the pictures they send because my dogs always look so happy. Every time I turn down the road to drop them off, they can barely contain their excitement because they love this place so much.
We have used mybuddypet resort for multiple stays with our boxer. Never had any issues. They send you pictures to update you and if there is a problem they call right away. My boxer is super allergic to all things outside and they call us everytime to let us know that they are seeing signs of irritation. They don’t have to update us because we know it’s most likely going to happen but knowing that they care enough to keep us updated means everything. Staff is very friendly.
I will never leave my dogs here again!! When I picked up my dog he was scared and didn’t recognize me till I went up to him. He’s still a puppy so he’s hyper and playful since I picked him up he hasn’t wanted to play, and his tail is injured. My thoughts my dog was abused!!

We’ve been taking Bella to Bunkin’ for 9 years now. When we got her a friend warned us that she would be a handful! She is 1/2 Aussie, 1/2 Border Collie and 200% energy. At 6mos we had to do something to keep here entertained while we were at work that’s when we found Bunkin’. Bella loves to go play with the staff and other dogs! The staff is great and treat Bella with love and respect. Our pets are family so leaving her with just anyone was not an option. We trust the staff 100%. The facility is clean, recently updated with more playful options, caters to dogs of all sizes and ages. Bella loves the Pawties and dress up. The picture added is he 80’s dress up. We love how much the staff loves her, takes care of her and keeps her safe while she is not at home. THANK YOU Bunk’ n Biscuit for all you do!
We have 3 pups and they all lose their minds with excitement when we pull into the parking lot! The staff is kind and knowledgeable and are always available when we call to check in. We absolutely recommend Blue Bonnet Bunkin’ Biscuit.
I have used the boarding service for many years and have always been impressed with the facilities and care of my babies. Most recently my golden retriever puppy Bagel has been using their drop in daycare services as well. Bagel loves going to “school” and playing with all her friends. I never feel bad having to take my pups here - they are the best and love my babies as much as I do!!
My family took our dogs here for years and never had any issues. I recently moved back and needed a place to board my own dog so I thought they would be great. They were super condescending and rude throughout the entire process. They told me they would do the “assessment” for my dog to be able to play with other dogs right when I dropped him off. I called back hours later to see how he was doing and they said they “hadn’t got around to it.” They then told me they would do it right after I called, so I watched the cameras to see how he did. They didn’t do it. So I called again later and asked what went wrong and they said they “didn’t have time.” So my dog was there for over 16 hours in a kennel by himself and went en entire day without getting to see/play with other dogs. They did the assessment the next day and said he was able to play with other dogs. When I picked him up, he had horrible sores on all of his joints which is literal proof that he had been just laying on the hard floor for his entire stay. My mom called before picking him up to make sure he was ready to go and some answering service picked up the phone and was extremely rude to her. When I saw my dog he was crying and shaking like he had seen a ghost. If I would have been the one picking him up, I would’ve asked for my money back or a discount. Really disappointed in what this place has become.
My Shiner loves going to Bunk n Biscuit!! All I have to do is say the name and he starts running to the door tail wagging! This is how I know that he is very well taken care of there. Shiner has abandonment issues but is still excited to go play with his friends. I seriously could not feel comfortable leaving him anywhere else when we go away. Thank you to everyone that cares for him when I’m gone!
I absolutely, positively, and completely trust the care of my dog Lady Heather with the team at Bluebonnet Bunk’n Biscuit. The staff is amazing, the facility is HUGE, they match your pet with similarly behaving dogs to ensure you never need worry about how your friend will be doing during the day. They alternate among outside play, inside groups, rest time, etc. When I bring in my dog she is excited when she comes in and she is worn out on the drive home. I cannot recommend them enough. The first photo is her after a full day of play and a haircut. The other photo is her usual happy face.
Bunk-N-Biscuit has always been so accommodating to our requests….whether it’s for grooming, day care, or boarding. The staff is always friendly and polite, but most of all they take great care of our dogs!
We have lived in the Schertz/Selma area for the past 12 years and we have taken our dogs to Bluebonnet Bunk ‘n’ Biscuit (the Bunk) for grooming, daycare and boarding that entire time. The dogs they have cared for have ranged from senior (senior care) to 8 week old puppies (nursery care). The staff has always been polite and professional to us and more importantly, kind, caring and loving to our babies. Trying not to make this too long, but to sum up, our dogs are not pets, they’re family, and the Bunk is the only place I would trust with them.
Phoebe had a blast at her first day of daycare! They have pools outside and she absolutely loves all things water, so it’s nice knowing she is getting do her favorite things. Working from home and keeping a 6 month old puppy entertained is not an easy feat so I am very happy Phoebe was well taken care of during her visit. She will definitely be back. The pictures are her before and after. A tired Puppy = happy Mommy!
Jessica is the best groomer ever ever! She did so awesome on all 3 of our dogs. They are totally different. All 3 weren't stressed after grooming, sign of great groomer... Also they all look awesome! Always a good experience. Dogs love her and are excited when we get there instead of being scared like they have been in the past at other places.
I love Gruene Barks and Rec! I am always a little anxious when we leave town and have to leave our little Wilma behind, but everyone at Gruene Barks makes me feel so reassured that Wilma will do great! Everyone is always so nice and attentive. I love being able to call and check in on Wilma during her stay, and I love seeing photos of her and her new doggy friends on social media. If family or friends are in need of a place to board their pup, I ALWAYS recommend Gruene Barks!
I can't recommend Gruene Barks & Rec enough! My weiner dog, Gary, has stayed with them multiple times over the past year, and I’ve been consistently impressed by the exceptional care they provide. Gary just had his latest stay for over a week, and I always feel completely confident leaving him there because the staff is so friendly, attentive, and truly loves the dogs they care for. What I appreciate most is how they make me feel like Gary is in great hands — I know he’s safe, happy, and well taken care of when I drop him off. The staff is always so welcoming and takes the time to get to know each dog, and they even post pictures of Gary while he's there, which is such a nice touch to keep me updated on how he’s doing! In addition to boarding, they also offer grooming services, and they do an outstanding job. Gary always comes home looking great, smelling fresh, and feeling so happy. It’s clear that they treat him like family, and I trust them completely with his care. I’ve recommended Gruene Barks & Rec to all my friends in town, and I would encourage anyone looking for a reliable, loving place to board their dog to check them out. They are fantastic, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Paws down the absolute best dog boarding in New Braunfels. Amazing staff, very caring and you can tell they love their job and it shows. My pups were extremely happy during their stay. Looking forward to utilizing their services over and over in the future.
Large Breed Owners BEWARE!!! ⚠️ I recently boarded my dog, an American Staffordshire Terrier, at this facility for four days. PRIOR to booking, I took time to carefully assess the environment, visiting in person WITH MY DOG and calling to confirm their policies around group play and breed restrictions, I was assured there were no restrictions that would impact my dog, and that she could participate in group play, something very important to us as my dog is a social butterfly. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly, which initially made it feel like a great fit. However, when I returned to drop off my dog, I noticed she was placed in an individual area with a “no group play” sign on her kennel. Despite my concerns, I was told it was just part of an internal system snd she "was group play". Upon picking her up, I was informed that my dog was "amazing", had NO ISSUES, they even posted her playing on THEIR instagram, but informed—after paying— due to her breed and an incident with a dog long before our walk through, she would not be allowed in group play if boarded again. At bare minimum when they met my dog Prior to her boarding, they should have mentioned this restriction and their past experiences. This restriction was never mentioned during our initial phone discussions OR THE MEET UP PRIOR TO BOARDING WHEN THEY MET MY DOG AND I, even though I had clearly stated her breed multiple times and GROUP Play was a deal breaker for us. From what I was told the 1st day of their arrival dogs are not group played as the staff needs to see how they will do with other dogs, which is understandable. While the staff were welcoming and the facility was impressive, I would caution other owners, especially those with large or pit-type breeds, to be wary. The inconsistent communication about breed restrictions and group play policies made the experience frustrating, and I would not recommend this facility if social playtime is a priority for your pet. I personally feel like this tactic was a bait and switch due to me being very upfront and them seeing my dog prior to her being boarded. This makes me question if dogs that behave well - but happen to be larger breeds or certain type of breeds - are being group played at all. It is clearly not based on the individual dog because my dog was said to be very well-behaved. She is Potty trained, understands commands and extra friendly also. FYI the "group play" side is on the far right side of the facility. The None group play/larger dog breed area is on the far left (with individual access to grass area doggie outside for each dog). Sadly, I recommend a random check up if you can, to see where your dog is placed and how the cage is labeled Prior to leaving your dog for an extended amount of time in this facility. Update to Owners response: Please see picture for EVIDENCE! -This business Informed me Via telephone call on Oct 28th there was no Restrictions on group play for breeds. I also informed the employee what breed my dog was because ANYONE with a "pit like dog" understands that these dogs are discriminated against constantly, so I don't bring her where she can't play with other dogs. I was told that the 1st day the dog needs to be assessed And it is based on the dog which is NOT. They have shown in the reply below that it is discrimination against certain breeds. My statement stands, This is a 🚩 for anybody with the sort of dog! Your dog IS good enough to be boarded here but not good enough to play in group play with other dogs no Matter if Your Dog is friendly or does "wonderful" as they said my dog was! I'm JUST finding out in THEIR reply she was never a group played! A dog was "brought in" to play with her! 🤯 And they admit to knowing MY MAIN intention of her coming was to group play! There would be no issue if they were up front about these things. I simply would have never brought her there..This is why I gave them 2 stars. Horrible communication and Deceitfull...Sad...
From the minute I walked through the door to drop my kitties off I was comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They showed me to the room (yes, an entire room, not just cages) my girls would be staying in and let me get them settled in. The room was amazing, complete with an entire wall of boxes for the girls to climb in and around. They even had their own TV! They took great care of my babies and the cost was reasonable. Gruene Barks and Rec will always be my first choice when I need to board my cats.
Such a great place for my rambunctious pup! He is a lot of energy and they do such a fantastic job keeping him having fun! I go out of my way to come here cause it’s worth it and I feel secure that my baby is safe and treated well. Archer loves it!
We have been to many different groomers, and these ladies have been the most accommodating of them all. We have also found ourselves in a difficult situation; our doggy hurt his leg, so we had to cancel his appointment. Once his leg was casted up, GBR allowed us to come in for a grooming LAST MINUTE and not only did a great job, but they also kept his leg dry since it was casted. We plan to only use these sweet ladies in the future. So thankful for this kind & hospitable business.
Gruene Barks and Rec is an awesome Pet Resort! The owner and team are kind and caring! We always feel that our pups are well taken care of and are having fun!
We have used Gruene Barks and Rec for grooming since we got our mini goldendoodle last summer. She is always happy when we drop off and pick up and they do a great a job! We waited too long before her most recent groom and they took their time and were able to make her look amazing in spite of us!
I've been taking our pups here for years. When I turn down their street my dogs lose it. They love coming to Barks and Rec. We travel for work quite a bit. There is no better feeling than knowing our fur babies are happy and healthy in our absence.
Carol has been great taking care of our 3 bullies. She text us pics of how the visits are going. She gives them treats and lots of attention. The dogs have a blast and makes us feel at ease while we are out of town. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend Hill country pet sitters. We absolutely Loved her. she's very caring my pet was in a clean environment. I was 100% satisfied leaving our pet in her care 4 days. she kept me informed every day sent me pictures. Prices were reasonable. I will definitely use her again.

I can’t recommend Baelyn with Pawderosa Ranch enough! I signed up for group training classes with my reactive dachshund, and you can tell Baelyn cares for the success for each dog that is there. While my dog looks cute, the behavior was not and even my neighbors notice the difference in her behavior. I will be taking advantage of the boarding and daycare services soon as the employees were so welcoming each time and answered any questions I had. I will update again as I’m signing up my second dog for group classes and hopefully the day training!
The training classes with Baelyn are great! She goes at your dogs pace and will switch things up based on their behavior and abilities. I’m starting our 2nd dog with her soon.
I love Pawderosa Ranch and their trainer Baelyn Grell. I have a puppy that was challenging me with issues I had not encountered with my previous dogs. Noises, brushing and bathing were big issues that would always result in a tantrum. Their trainer Baylen Grell has been a blessing. She has been working with us for the past several months and given me hope when I was ready to give up on him. We are now taking lovely walks in the neighborhood and parks. She has also helped immensely with brushing and bathing. He is much more tolerant. Baelyn is a very patient and compassionate trainer full of creative ideas on how to overcome behavior issues. I would highly recommend her to help with training.
My pup just completed his “Day with a Trainer” program with Baelyn & it’s been so wonderful watching him grow & learn. He went from constantly pulling on his leash, having separation anxiety & only knowing sit as a command to being able to be in his crate & heel during our walks. The best trainer you can find!
We're so happy with Pawderosa! I want to start by saying how wonderful and enjoyable the staff is to work with. Our puppy Ace (1 yr old shih tzu) has completed their puppy level 1 training and now is in the puppy level 2 training. We’ve seen a big improvement in Ace’s behavior and we owe it all to Katelynn who has been personally working with Ace. Socializing him with other dogs and people has helped him to not always feel threatened and feel the need to bark all the time. Additionally, he is developing positive habits, and we often find him exhausted at home because he had a busy day. Another thing that I love about this facility is that it’s clean. I feel good when I leave Ace here and he is always so happy and excited when we pull up to the facility. We are happy customers!!
Our Max really enjoys staying here when we are gone for a few days. He loves playing with other dogs, and we feel confident that the staff loves caring for pets. Weekend hours are a bit short for pickup, so count on an additional day's fee if you can't pick up in time. They give a report card so you can get great feedback.
I Have been using Pawderosa for a year.Im very impressed with the staff.The facility is clean and very safe to leave your pet without any worry.If you have concerns or issues they are quick to make sure you are happy and taken care of. I highly recommend giving Pawderosa a chance to earn your business because you will use them over and over whether it's for over night stays a bath,haircut or doggie daycare you will be happy you did. The groomer is completely Amazing!! She did everything I was hoping she could do.My standard poodle looks and smells wonderful 💖
I called and booked a few day stay with grooming and boarding. Janie helped me, very sweet lady. My daughter was able to take care of my dog while I was out of town, Marshall Tucker Band concert, so I did not use their facility. I can say that they were so very helpful in receiving a fax of my pups shot records. Everything was super easy to schedule and I will use them in the future. I cancelled a couple of hours after scheduling the appointment. They were great, no threats of you will be charged $x for cancelling. I have family, including a paralyzed Disabled Vet in San Antonio., therefore I go there often. Here is Chouchou enjoying Dairy Queen ice cream on Burnett in Austin where they give dogs free ice cream with a small, appropriate milk bone on top. I will update after I use their services in the future.

We send our doberman pup Apollo here pretty often when we need boarding. He seems to really love it there and gets so excited when we drop him off. Customer service is always on point, and staff are always friendly and welcoming when we arrive. Definitely recommend. Added plus that we get pics of him with the package we purchase. So helps to keep me reassured he is doing well. :)
If I could give zero stars, I would. Nice place, but the owners are delusional regarding charging. They charge you for the day you check in AND the day you check out! I dropped my dog off at 4 pm Sunday and picked her up at about 1pm Wednesday. Three nights, and less than 36 hours. Yet I was charged for 4 days. When I questioned this, I was ghosted for 2 days, and then (only after I followed up) did the owners text me that "they were sorry I don't understand their charging policy." That is RICH! Has anyone EVER been charged for boarding or even a hotel for the day checking IN and OUT??? Not even rental car companies do that. How is three nights and less than 36 hours EVER billed as four days??? And this place is super expensive anyway, at $55/night. Oops, sorry, DAY OR PART OF DAY. When I explained that I'd contest the charge on my card and write negative reviews, I was threatened with legal action. And they added the Texas condescending "God bless you." Gold doesn't bless rude criminals! Southern Charm my arse!
My two labs are my babies, so boarding them has always been such an uneasy feeling. BUT Southern Charm was amazing with our dogs! My older lab has a special diet that they were able to accommodate with ease. I loved that each room has a unique theme and that they were able to stay with each other. The facility has such a positive and welcoming energy. I also loved where they are located with tons of land. My boys were able to see all the livestock. Horses, cows, chickens, and even other cattle dogs. 10 out of 10 recommend! It takes so much stress off of us now that we have a place like Souther Charm that we trust to take great care of our boys.
K-9 Cottages was amazing, I did not want to leave her but their team took great care of her. Magey was playing and happy when I picked her up. Thanks K-9 Cottages, Magey will come visit again soon.
