Louisa
We loved to stay at Louisa’s place and look after her two cats.

The flat is modern and has all the comforts you could wish for, Ron and Oscar are just amazing, super easy to look after and great cuddle buddies (especially Oscar!). Louisa is very easy to reach, just a text away anytime we need to talk to her and made us feel very welcome in her home.

Liz
Liz is a lovely lady who trusted me to look after William and Henry and her home while taking a short break away. Lovely loving boys. Enjoyed their company immensely. Made the sit very relaxing. Close to everything you might need and very comfy bed!! Thanks Liz.

Catherine
The minute we arrived in the home of Catherine and Jeff we felt at home.
Catherine and Jeff were super from the moment we contacted them. They were warm, clear, great to communicate with, they opened their house with immense generosity and were so helpful, informative, trustful, and inviting. They gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived a day prior to their leaving and cooked a great vegan dinner for us, which was heartwarming.

Socrates is a very loving cat and very easy going. After two nights he was already sleeping with us in bed and having long purring sessions which were a real treat. He has so many spots in the house and yard that he loves and it was easy to get to know his unique rituals. We loved our time with him and miss him already.

The town of Southwold is a gem, people are really friendly, the beaches are sandy and beautiful. It has the river Blyth and the marshes which are gorgeous to walk through. Great nature walks. Exquisite sunsets and ocean breezes.

We loved our stay!

Taz
Taz is really sweet and was very accommodating when we arrived. Cacahuate is the smartest, sweetest dog ever. He listens well, does great on walks, and he’s affectionate. He very politely comes and asks to be pet and it’s sooo cute! We took him to the beach a lot and he was always well behaved. When we bathed him he just stood there like a good boy and let us finish. We already miss him! Taz has a lot of plants, which was a bit of a challenge because the water pressure of the hose is very low and it takes time to water them all properly. The house is in a friendly, quiet neighborhood and is within walking distance of anything you’ll need.

Sarah
Wally was excellent company during one of the hottest weeks I’ve ever experienced in New York, and Sarah’s beautiful home was a perfect place for it. With a back yard we enjoyed hanging out in together and two floors that are gorgeously air conditioned and have everything you could possibly want to be comfortable during your stay, it was a very restful experience. Wally is a snuggler and will insist on sitting on your lap at all times, but is very easy to walk and is very well behaved. Sarah was a gracious host and even reached out ahead of time to make sure everything I would need was in the house, and was responsive during the trip if I had questions. Highly recommend!

Jules
We absolutely loved our house sit for Jules and Rob at Little Forest Farm. Nestled in the hinterland just above Milton the property has amazing 360 degree views of the surrounding forests(now thankfully recovering from the devastating 2019 bushfires), across the green rolling hills to the sparkling blue waters of the NSW south coast. The house is beautifully styled with views from every room, including the bathroom and ensuite. There’s even a plunge pool to cool down in the heat of summer, or for a bracing dip in cooler temperatures (we weren’t brave enough!). Of course the main attraction was Jules and Rob’s menagerie. The chooks and ducks pretty much looked after themselves and provide us with eggs. Cosmo and Sport, the two horses, were also pretty self reliant, but could be a little pushy come feeding time. We didn’t see much of Squeak the cat but knew she was around because her food kept disappearing. But the star of the show, who we immediately fell in love with, was Sunny the Kelpie. She soon got us into our routine. An early morning wake up bark, followed by a quick breakfast and then it was off to the beach to run and chase sticks, which was a great way to tire her out. Milton is a beautifully little town just inland from Mollymook and its beautiful beaches, and we took the opportunity to explore the region. There are some lovely wineries, cafes, bars and pubs to be discovered…and the best fish and chips at Burrill Lake (The Fish Shop) and the best pies at Ulladulla (Hayden’s Pies). Thank you once again, Jules and Rob, for choosing us to look after your furry and feathered family. We can thoroughly recommend this sit…but remember to bring your gumboots!
