We have just completed a delightful housesit in Petersfield. We stayed the night before with Michael and Diana, as they departed for snowy Austria early the next day.. On the afternoon of our arrival Diana showed us local walks and Pubs!! where we could enjoy nice meals, some being dog friendly pubs. Our hosts treated us to a lovely meal that evening and showed us everything we needed to know about the house and their pets. Michael kindly left us maps of local walks, of which there are many in this beautiful part of the world. Their home is lovely, we beautiful views over the fields from the lounge. Could see the pheasants strutting around the fields directly behind their garden. We looked after two cats who used the cat flat and were no trouble at all. Sandy is adorable. We took him out everyday. He could be let off the lead and never bothered other dogs. Sat quietly in the back of the car, hardly knew he was there. So friendly and affectionate, an absolute delight. A beautiful house in a gorgeous location, close to the south downs, yet only 20 mins from Portsmouth and other pretty places on the south coast. Sandy joined us on several trips to the seaside. He truly made our days out great fun. We certainly hope to visit Michael and Diana again. !!!!
Thank you to Angela and Rudy for the opportunity to housesit for them and hang out with Buddy. Sadly their older dog Peanut had passed away a little before the housesit so Buddy was in need of some extra attention. I was happy to see Buddy jumping into bed with me in the morning after the first night for petting and cuddling. We had a nice week together. The house is in a great location and I’d be very happy to housesit for them again.
Our house and pet sitting in Monik and Walter’s home has been amazing! They are a nice and welcoming couple, they were very generous and communicative, and always wanted us feeling to be at home. And we were felling like happily at home, thank you! Taking care of Wis and Maite was very pleasant and easy. They have different personalities: Mayte loves to be brushed, and we were lucky, she let us to caress her quite easily. Wis is very independent and beautiful, when she is around you will want to caress her, and even though it is quite hard to gain her confident, when you have it, it is a real pleasure. They are both adorable cats! Fish were easy to take care of, we enjoyed the relaxing times looking at them. We really enjoy our experience there, the house is very comfortable and having breakfast and lunch on the sun in the terrace outside was the best. Is has been a peaceful stay. Our walks in the beautiful Saint Jean Pied de Port could not be better. Such a nice place! Also, all the area is awesome, we love the mountains and the green nature, astonish landscapes! Thanks a lot Monik and Walter for the opportunity of this great experience we had. We hope to see you again!
Florie-anne is lovely and has a great flat with a garden close to the town centre with rail/tube links, supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants etc. Everything you would need Silk and Pantalon were a dream to look after, both liked to play and lots of cuddles, really friendly cats. The new addition to the house Mirabelle is a real heart breaker a cute kitten that loves playing, sitting in boxes and lying on your lap giving you doe eyes. She is extremely well behaved and very easy to sit for, loved my time with all the cats.
This is a fabulous sit and we would gladly do it again. Chris and Ambra are very helpful and friendly. Cat is good company and easy to care for. The house is very comfortable but the best part for us was the view and the garden. There is lots to do in the area and shopping close by if you have a car.
Maggie was a wonderful host with two very friendly dogs Forest and Holly. My kind of four legged friends and a delight to be with.
