Loved housesitting for Don and Amstel! Don was incredibly friendly and communicative prior to the sit, and equally so during the sit. Amstel warmed to me almost immediately - he's a wonderful old soul with a great personality. I was sad to say goodbye by the end of the trip. The house is gorgeous and cozy - great location and town. I went up to the mountains on a couple of occasions during the sit to go skiing. Couldn't have been happier with the experience!
We felt very welcomed in to the home from the first meeting. Mabel is a very sweet dog and easy to care for. She loves to have her hips scratched and after every walk, would back up next to my leg for that exact thing. She doesn't pull on walks and has the cutest spurts of energy. She does like to sleep a lot but is adorable doing so. We enjoyed our time with Mabel. We had excellent communication with Sheana and Paul and the neighborhood is beautiful.
This was a totally wonderful sit! Beccy was so warm, considerate and kind in welcoming us into her lovely home. Communication with Beccy was always excellent and delightful. Conker is an absolute rare treasure. She is the most gorgeous, adorable little dog. It was an honour to look after her. She is such excellent company and is very undemanding. Beccy recommended many great walks and places to visit both in Portishead and further afield. We could not recommend this sit highly enough. We would dearly love to go back.
We had an absolutely amazing time at Sarah and Euan's lovely house looking after Zouma. He quickly found the key to our hearts. Not only is he the sweetiest dog we've ever had the pleasure to look after, he is very easy to handle and so much fun to have around. Walks with Zouma are a joy. He is obedient, doesn't have issues around other dogs, waits to be put on his lead when necessary and comes immediately when called. Walking Zouma was something we very much looked forward to every day (and now miss). Sarah and Euan's house is extremely comfortable. It has all the conveniences a sitter can dream of and then some. The garden is lovely and perfect for throwing apples and balls for Zouma to run after. Sarah and Euan are the perfect hosts. Sarah made a lovely meal for us on the evening before they left and showed us the ropes so that we felt confident and well informed. We can't recommend this sit highly enough, it's the reason we do housesitting: meeting kind, friendly and hospitable hosts, looking after lovely pets and staying in delightful houses. We hope to have the opportunity to look after Zouma again. Thank you Sarah and Euan.
Benny was a delight once she warmed up to us. The apartment was delightful, cool open plan basement apartment with good light and located in popular NW Portland with tons of restaurants and shops. Kylie’s house is clean and comfortable. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Otto, Margot and Frances stole my heart. They are the sweetest dogs! Otto and Fran love to snuggle and, yes, Margot can play fetch for hours! I’d happily sit her again and would recommend it to anyone.
