Nana’s home is THE best place to take care of you dog/cat! I super recommend them! They have been pet sitting my dog for 4’years now and they always do it with so much care and love. As a company they are super organized as well, making sure you get first a profile of the host and you get a meet and great time face to face before deciding. They always make sure there is a group for updates of your pet during the stay and admins are also involved so there is transparency and security. Naysa is great. I’ve used her twice now and will continue to use her service. She really cares about the pets. When she noticed one of my cats didn’t finish her food she pinged me immediately. She took careful notes of what my cats needed and ensured they were properly taken cared of. And I love the daily updates and pictures. Overall, I feel comfortable my cats are taken cared of when I’m away.

Tails In The City is simply the best dog service imaginable. I have moved for work quite a bit since I first got my dog Penny, and this is the only daycare, boarding experience she is fundamentally happy to go to. Ken and Gary care so much about the dog son their care, and are simply wonderful people. Tail towers was a game changer for me in Amsterdam. Penny got picked up in the morning and dropped off late afternoon every week day, she got multiple walks a day, tons of play time with the other dogs, and so many places to nap and be comfortable. When I traveled she was loved and cared for as if she were their dog. Don’t hesitate, get your dog signed up for Tail Towers as soon as you can!

Gary and Ken have been our dog walkers/ sitters now for almost the entire 2 years we have been in Amsterdam. They've always been there for us whether its been for a vacation, or just me getting stuck at work late. Our dog Buddy goes twice a week for Old Doggy Day Care and the pictures Gary sends definitely show Buddy is having a great time. I'm pretty sure Buddy likes Ken more than me.

Tails of the City is amazing! Our dog goes there every week for the daycare and she absolutely loves it. Gary and Ken provide us with lovely pictures and videos which make us feel not only that our dog is safe there but that she is having loads of fun (and so are they!). It is definitely her favorite day of the week. I used to joke that she prefers Gary to us, but I’m starting to suspect that is actually true. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Tails of the City! I am really grateful to have found them after so many bad experiences in Amsterdam. Tails is trustworthy, consistent and caring - and I think it really comes down to one simple thing: They love animals. Tails takes such good care of Joey, who is getting old and sick. They are gentle and calm, and give him just the right chin skritches to make him a happy cat. The best part - they send cute photo updates. You really can't ask for more. 😸

Gary and Ken (who run Tails of the City) are the people I trust most with looking after my Frenchie, Albie, whilst I'm at work / away from Amsterdam. Both of them care so deeply for all the dogs that they look after and make sure that they have great experiences through play, walks, snuggles and sleep! They're also great at communication with me as an owner - a couple of times, changes in Albie's behaviour/habits have been shared which has led to me making different decisions with him (in particular going to vets or re-training him in some areas). Throughout the daycare days, they both send updates to me to show me what Albie is up to during the day which always brings a smile to my face. Ultimately, they love the animals they care for like their own and - through the good and the bad times - make sure the animals have everything that the need. I could not recommend Tails of the City enough! 5 Stars. Top marks. 10/10. (Thanks for being such great carers of my little one)

We absolutely love everything about Team Tails! Ken and Gary have been looking after our older dog Ginger for 2.5 years now, and their newer team member Megan has recently dog-sat twice as well. All three of them are fantastic people that we (humans) totally trust while we're away, and our dog thinks they're the greatest, too. I don't think you'll find a more professional, communicative, and loving team in Amsterdam to take care of your animals. Just make sure to book them in advance because they're quite popular. Initially, Ken & Gary helped me with my 2 kitties when I was traveling. I have had friends stay with my cats and the kitties seemed more demanding and needy than after a week with Team Tails. I knew my cats were well cared for, played with and loved from how they responded when I returned. Since I adopted my rescue pup from Serbia, Team Tails has been my saving grace! From urgently taking care of my boy for two weeks when I had a family emergency to helping him grow into a confident, playful, dog-friendly pup at doggy daycare, Team Tails has been loyal, attentive, dependable, kind and generous.

Tails of the City are among the best dog walking and sitting service I’ve ever used. Gary and Ken treated our Harvey like he was their own - including helping us rehab him from a serious injury. When we travelled, we never worried about Harvey - we knew he was in the best care possible and we appreciated the regular updates both during his weekly walks as well as when we went away. I can’t recommend them enough and our only regret about moving to the next town over is that we couldn’t take them with us. We’ve had a really awesome experience with the Tails team. Our dog is still young and Ken, his primary caretaker has been so amazing at helping us be consistent on training and what behaviors we want him to practice. I love Team Tails! We've been clients of theirs since we moved here in October of last year. Wally is absolutely in love with Ken & Gary (and before, Shannon as well). I know how much Wally enjoys getting walked by them because he never looks back when he has to leave and he always comes home happy. We always get beautiful photos and updates when he's with them and I know that they love Wally too. <3

Our cat Maggie never really liked staying at a cat pension. It stressed her out, and she'd often come home scruffy and anxious. Looking for an alternative, we came across Steven from Creature Comforts Pet Sitting, and we couldn't have been luckier. From the first interaction, Steven was always quick to respond, accommodating, and transparent. Before the cat sitting period, we had a first meeting to provide the keys for the apartment, and for Steven to meet Maggie. Maggie, being a former stray, is usually pretty shy around strangers, and didn't really approach Steven during the first meeting. From Steven's first visit onwards, though, Maggie became super affectionate, approachable, and relaxed. We got daily updates on Maggie, plus a photo and sometimes a video. Steven took the time to give Maggie plenty of pets, brush her, or play with her during his visits. Even when we had a special request such as an earlier visit on a certain day, or watering our plants, Steven was more than happy to accommodate. In addition to the wonderful service, Creature Comforts' daily rate for a 20-minute visit is hardly more expensive than any nice cat pension in the Amsterdam area. Plus, your cat gets to stay in her familiar surroundings, and can stay much more relaxed that way. We are incredibly happy with the level of service, kindness, and attention to detail at Creature Comforts. Steven took wonderful care of my bunny while I was away! He was very conscious and attentive to her needs (especially on a particularly hot summer day), and I felt at ease knowing she was being cared for with love. Steven was very professional and communication was great with daily updates and photos. Creature Comforts is now my go to pet sitter!

Amazing business, Steven provided fantastic care to my 3 cats while I was away. He came everyday and send me photos and videos to reassure me the cats were doing well. As we all know cats are not always very welcoming to newcomers but they loved Steven from the start. This is a wonderful business run with care and love. The owner is thoughtful, attentive, and communicative. He is incredible with cats and dogs. His calm demeanor helped our old cat (20 years old!) to feel comfortable and safe. He sent us pictures and videos each day he visited her and checked in to make sure we returned home from our travel, showing his own personal concern over our cat and her return to us. When we met with him to get our home keys back, he was generous with funny stories about our cat and with tips for the neighborhood (we were new!). We are very thankful for this service and will unquestionably return next time we need someone to take care of our old cat.

I was very happy when a friend told me about these petsitters because I only want the best care for my cat. David and Cassandra came to meet me and Flora a week before I was leaving and really took the time to get to know Flora and understand all her needs. I had only adopted her a few weeks previously so was a bit concerned about going away so soon after that, but she'd settled in well and I was just going for 4 days at Christmas, which had already been booked. Cassandra was fantastic, sending me updates and pictures twice a day. Videos were more difficult because Flora is super speedy when playing! When I returned she was happy to see me, but clearly very relaxed. I won't hesitate to use this service again and would highly recommend it.

Amsterdam Pet Sitter did an amazing job taking care of my 2 year old Australian Sheperd while we were away for 3 weeks. They took such great care of our baby and our house. Amsterdam Pet Sitter did a beyond excellent job sitting my 2 (very pampered) cats. My cats have trauma and don't react well to many things, including strangers. They worked with me and the cats, with additional meet and greets to ensure that the booked sit would go well. My cats need an emotional support human and someone to give them medicine. This was no issue for Amsterdam Pet Sitter. I got regular updates whilst I was away, including pictures showing how relaxed my cats were. This allowed me to relax whilst away, not needing to worry if the cats were ok or stressed. I look forward to working with and booking Amsterdam Pet Sitter for my future trips.

It was so easy to work with Amsterdam Pet Sitters! After an initial intake meeting and thorough onboarding paperwork they stayed at my home to care for my endlessly energetic dog, Taco. I travelled first time to Amsterdam with my dog Winston. While it was great traveling to this dog friendly city, I wanted to take few hours and visit museums. My hotel concierge introduced me to Dave and Cassandra for pet sitting service. They are both very nice and reliable. They took great care of Winston while I was gone. I would definitely contact them next time when I return!

But David made sure I got an update every day on how they were doing! He even made sure to tell me if there were certain details, like how the cats were feeling. It’s our first time having a dog walker. We are quite protective over our doggie Luna. And having WW train and walk our dog was amazing throughout the year. They are very accommodating to our requests and take very good care of Luna during her walks. They also send updates and pictures on her walks and improvements. We have been going to Keagan and Wiwi for almost a year now to look after our dog Indy since he was a puppy. They’re both so warm, attentive, caring and patient that whenever Indy is with them, we know he’s in the safest of hands. Each time Indy sees them he’s SO happy and looks forward to spending quality time bonding with them and the other doggies. My dog Sabi can be quite wary of new humans, but WW are so good with dogs, there was an instant bond. Sabi literally runs out the door in excitement whenever she knows she's about to go on her walk with Keagan. They take such good care of her when she stays with them too, she almost doesn't want to come home. She's a better dog for having spent time with them

Layla loves to stay at WW when we travel. It takes her no time at all to get cozy and comfy with her hosts, and I can see she is always having the best time from the updates, photos and videos that I get. Layla is a bit reactive, and WW know very well how to handle it lovingly and patiently. She couldn't be in better hands!

Truly dog lovers! My dog, 8yo pug, had been going to the same pet sitter for years. When she moved I thought I couldn't find someone so caring and devoted as her. We have what Keagan describes as an intense dog. Haha. But he says it with all the kindness in the world. We adopted a 5-year-old Shiba in 2022 who had previously been a stay-at-home dog with 2 other Shibas in a rural area. He had received no training and was completely new to city life, being walked, and meeting unknown dogs. His training has been a spicy adventure 🥰🐶🌶 The minute Yuki met Keagan for a test walk, we knew we'd found the right walker for the job. Yuki thinks Keagan is his best friend. And we love working together with Keagan on Yuki's progress. We've gone from having a dog that was super spicy for the first 40 minutes of a walk to a dog that is only spicy for the first 5 minutes. He's started pack walks, can safely meet unknown dogs, has ridden on trams, and we even found a petsitter through WW that Yuki loves, too. Wondrous Waltzes have changed walk time from a bit of a stress into a joyful time for both us and Yuki.

We love our dog walker and so does our dog. We have seen an incredible improvement in his behaviour with other dogs since we started and we are so glad. Admin has also been easy and speedy, definitely recommend this service!
